I'm not sure about you guys but the weather in the East Bay has been much cooler than yesterday. Let's hope that it helps slow the Firestorm down enough for the firefighters to help.

Aside from the ENGLISH TEXT during the mission briefings (i.e. ARMD 1.5, ENEMY SHIPS, SDF, SCRABLE, MISSION OBJECTIVES). I don't understand most of what Misa, Roy, and the rest of the crew are telling me (during the audio briefings). But it's pretty straightfoward anyways....

Where did you findi the Flip Top Case for that cheap?

I'm not sure if this should be posted in the Other Anime or Science Fiction Forum. But since this is one of the most trafficed forums I thought it'd go well here. DO NOT PARTICIPATE IF YOU DON'T PLAN ON KEEPING YOUR END OF THE BARGAIN. THIS WILL ONLY WORK IF EVERYONE DOES THEIR PART. I always thought it was Milia.......and when I was playing the Macross game on my PS2 it also said Milia. By the way.....this thread is asking for a poll.

SPOILERS. I believe there are four Zentradi ships attacking the SDF-1. Each ship has 12 turrets that you MUST destroy. When you take out all 12 turrets on each ship (they're only on the top side) it'll start exploding. That's when you know you don't have to worry. Do the same to EACH ship before the timer runs out.

Well. I just finished the TV mode (with a not so great Rank D). That went a little quicker than expected......and I only unlocked six of the VF-1's. It also looks like I'll be purchasing the flip top casing.....you guys were right. Using the slide card will eventually wear out the motor. Well. I'm about to start the DYRL storyline. BTW....the 13th TV mission is GREAT!

I got the game and slide card today. BUT there's a slight problem....I have to open up the console because the swap disc is stuck inside the tray. Darn. I should have picked up a flip top case. Now I have to unscrew the console.

I really want to start my BATMAN vs. SPIDERMAN thread. Please don't take away my only fun in life..........

Ah.....my parents gave me the "elusive 3rd Voltron" as a Christmas gift one year. It was the black gladiator (that combined with the red and blue one) which was pretty much ALL diecast. When combined it was a six armed monstrocity........and I didn't like it as much as previous Voltrons.

Aren't those last two spots for the YF-19 and YF-21? I was watching the latest preview video and noticed there were 18 slots for Valkyries. Sorry to go so into depth (maybe the Macross Plus' Valkyries are only for free mode ONLY). 8th slot = YF-19 9th slot = YF-21 10th slot = VF-0 Phoenix 11th slot = SV-51 12th slot = Max's Paint VF-1A Once again.....this is all from the latest preview video (the one that's 3:05 in length). Maybe they changed things from the final release.

If someone has to ask then they'll truely NEVER understand. But for me one can only collect so much, personally I don't think I'll be collecting Macross for much longer. After the Macross Zero line (by Yamato) is released that's it for me. But, if they eventually release the SDF-1 I'll come back to the forefront and pick it up.

Willkommen eir mister_e. Ich bein Macrossworld Forums....... Like flash said it's different from the average cannon fodder VF-1. It's also shown in DYRL for a brief moment so it's more of a cameo role (much liike the GBP-1J). The Cat's Eye rules all.

Exactly. FF7 was the first (and ONLY) RPG I've played from beginning to end, I picked up FF8 when it hit the GREATEST HITS list for the PS. But couldn't really get into it, FFXI looks like it's gonna to bring me back into the RPG world. But. I also want to see some reviews before I pick this up. BTW.....it's also on sale at Fry's Electronics for $39.99 .

Lemme dig up my brother's old U.S.S Flagg..........maybe I can take my two 1/48's and make a little diorama of my own. BTW......what's the scale of the Sky Striker? 1/32?

Are you into any other video games? Considering that the PS2 has one of the largest library of titles you have a lot to choose from. Personally I've been playing a LOT of Madden 2004 and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. BTW....if you're into Arcade Flight Sims then look no further than Ace Combat 4. I'll be playing a lot more PS2 when Macross comes in.......

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned but Windjammer posted several links to combat (ground/close quarters) tactics for Valkyries a couple of months ago. If anyone has the link to those pages that'd be great.

I'm one of the lucky fellows that grew up with the initial run of Robotech: The Macross Saga (whether you think that's good or bad it doesn't matter to me). 25 here.
