Well. Since Kawamori-san had NOTHING to do with Macross II (right?) it's immediately thrust into a parallel universe. I did like a couple of songs but the enemy mecha were FORGETABLE....... Decent character designs by Haruhiko Mikimoto...... The animation started to fall apart (you can really tell during the last two installments) near the end.......

As soon as I get out of work Friday I'm passing by the nearest Gamestop (trading in some old PS2 games also) and picking up the SOCOM II and the Network Adapter. There are too many GREAT games for the PS2 right now (i.e. Jak II, Ratchet and Clank, Castlevania: Lament of Innocence, Final Fantasy X-2, Smackdown: Here Comes the Pain, etc). Anyone else already have SOCOM II?

After playing it a lot more on the PS2 Macross game I'm voting for the VF-4 Lightning. It's the one 1/48 that'd I hope Yamato considers releasing.

Correct me if I'm wrong but in Season One Jack held the same position that Tony has (i.e. Director of CTU). I also remember Jack telling Kate Bauer (b/c I have the 2nd Season DVD Boxset of 24) that he used to run CTU before. The way things have been going it seems like a mutual relationship. But I still think Jack runs the whole show, with Tony Almeda doing his part of the job (as Isamu Atreides 86 stated). Oh....you do NOT mess with Druggy Jack. Yikes.

I wonder what went wrong with Jack and Kate (when they dated during the three years between Season 2 and 3). Sherry is probably locked up in solitary confinement because of her actions in Season 2. Director Almeda looks like he's ready to kick some ass and take names....... I just finished watching the 2nd episode........SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ANOTHER CTU mole!!!!!!! I can't believe it. You think that after the whole Nina Meyers mish mash this wouldn't happen again.

I guess this one nitpick where Robotech: Battlecry MIGHT upstage this game. In R:BC each (ahem) veritech had it's own pros and cons (i.e. the VF-1S had heavy weapondry but weaker armor compared to the VF-1D's high armor).

Honestly. Did anyone else get caught off guard (at the release of the Hikaru VF-1S)? I totally forgot that this was being released, talk about being under the radar.........

Are you following the correct procedures? It took me a couple of times to "perfect" the slide method. 1. Boot the Swap Disc (mine was v2.0 DVD-R) 2. When you see the PLEASE INSERT DISC screen you need to use the SLIDE PIECE to manually eject the tray (don't hit the EJECT button). -Remember to go left to right using the slide piece. -You'll notice the slide piece catch the tray knob when moving from left to right. -The tray should come out easily now....... 3. That is when you insert the IMPORT game disc into the tray and manually push it back in. -REMEMBER! After you do this you HAVE to use the Slide piece again to lock the tray in position. -You need to move the slide piece from left to right (and let it catch the knob) and finally back to the LEFT. 4. Wait a couple of seconds then hit the X button on the controller. If it read correctly you'll see a BLUE outline on the screen.......if it doesn't read correctly you'll see a PINK outline on the screen. Sorry for the long explanation but it's really easy once you get the hang of it.

I'm also in the Yeah Area (East Bay to be exact) and when I saw KILL BILL it cost me $9.25 . A couple of months ago I saw the Hulk during Matinee (if you can call it that) and it cost $6.26 . Jeez.....the movie theaters should pay me for watching their crappy movies (yup....the Hulk made ME green).

Well. I guess I'm not the only one waiting for the new shipment of Alernator: Smokescreen's. BTW....I'm really not into the Dodge Viper Sideswipe. The basic RED paintjob turns me off, I wish they used a victory blue (with the two white stripes) variant.

I also downloaded the CoD Demo, it has good squad based AI which makes youf feel like you're part of the squad. Not some Rambo-esque one man killing machine. The graphics and gameplay is a lot better than the average WWII FPS.

Ah. Monica Keena......the hottie of one of my favorite "cancelled shows" Undeclared. BTW.....is there any word on a sequel to Freddy vs. Jason? Didn't they film to different endings for this movie?

If we're talking about more likely to buy I'd have to pick the CF VF-1J........I'm getting sick and tired of the VF-1A. But....how common were CF VF-1J's (in SDF: M)? Did they even exsist?

Well....I just finished the 2nd Episode (when is the 3rd one out) and it's another example of CLASSIC Matsumoto (pretty sad stuff though......I almost shed a tear). It was nice seeing a classic pistol. This might be another series that I have to keep up with. BTW....is there ANY relation between Galaxy Express 999 and Galaxy Railways (besides the obvious)?

Both of my 1/48's are Fast Pack equipped.......so I guess I'll have to give in (and purchase Hikaru's VF-1J WITH Fast Packs). Can't let him go naked can I? EDIT. I'm a confused little soul. I said Fast Packs are a must but I voted for "NO Fast Packs (canon extremists)". BUT I also would rather see a GBP-1J too...............guess I should have picked NULL VOTE eh?
