  1. Sorry to go kinda off topic. But has anyone ever tried a Pineapple Salad? Sounds kind of yummy to me...................

Look at it this way.....did we get any other Valkyrie besides the VF-1's for the 1:60 scale? NOPE. I hope this doesn't end up the same for the 1:48 line. The possibilities are endless................
  3. I've scene a couple of photo's of Shoji Kawamori and his various LEGO VF prototypes (like the SV-51 for example). Very .
  4. One of my aunts thinks he's adorable. It was probably because of his mullet style Macgyver days (that show really did kick ass).
  5. Back in my early college days Top Ramen was my best friend. Nowadays it's New York Strip Steak with glasses of Cabernet Sauvingon.
  6. This is the very reason why Macross should STAY an anime. I can already hear the rants from Evangelion and Transformers fans.
  7. I'm sorry I have to say this Rob. Autopsy Pics?
  8. ......they're selling for $186.00 a pop too. Must resist urge to max out credit card.
  9. Apparently they didn't finish the bottom half too (much like the Valkyrie Flight Suit).
  10. In no particular order. Uchuu Senkan Yamato (Starblazers) G1 Transformers (The Movie and Series) Urusei Yatsura Ghost In The Shell (The Movie and Stand Alone Complex) Cowboy Bebop (The Movie and Series) Evangelion (The Movie and Series) Macross (DYRL) Gundam (Stardust Memories 0083 Movie) Akira Battle Angel Alita (OAV)
  11. The video was a bit small but the animation was really good. Prime looks a lot better in action and the Grand Convoy transformation = Lion Voltron! It was cool to hear the OLD SCHOOL transforming sound.
  12. Hikaru VF-1S? Since it wasn't seen until DYRL = it can ONLY be a Strike Roy VF-1S? Since it was seen in SDF: M and DYRL = Super (SDF: M) or Strike (DYRL) Max VF-1S? Since it wasn't seen until DYRL (but NEVER seen with Fast Packs) = I guess Super or Strike
  13. ...and I can see why they're making Chase to be the second coming of JACK BAUER. SPOILERS. Chase got REALLY whopped on last night. A gunshot point blank range to his left (was it his shooting) hand......and he also cauterized his own wound. OUCH!!!!! Too bad that whats her name died saving her family (which was KINDA unecessary because there was NO initial harm to them). Don't get me started about the incompetence of CTU. Chloe her baby need to be put on bathroom duty.......... The episode ending kind of weakly with Jack KISSING Nina Meyers. I still hate the President's storyline.
  14. I've noticed that can be a slight problem with MPC. The heavy die cast chest of Convoy makes the sockets in the ankles tend to lean foward.
  15. Terrible pity? I'm sorry but how many times can one chick play the tough "take no sh!t" chick. It was played out in The Fast and Furious, and got worse in Resident Evil and SWAT. Ugh......I'm glad she was offed in the first movie.
  16. My very first Valkyrie (if we're talking about.....bought with hard earned money) was supposed to be a Yammie MAX 1:60 VF-1A (that I ordered from HLJ.com). INSTEAD. The lads sent me a Bandai 1:55 Hikaru VF-1J.
  17. Excellent pictures guys! It looks like you guys had a BLAST. Now, where are the pictures of drunken Macrossworld members after a night of too much digital karaoke, YOSHINOL, and Valkyrie hunting? Suprisingly the prices for Yammies, Transformers, and Gundams aren't THAT MUCH different than here (ARE THEY). Whew.
  18. Hey buddy. One man's trash is another man's treasure. Besides, I don't have the $ (damn you Takara and Yamato) to be plunking down for official DVD after DVD. Bleh. Knowing Pioneer they'll probably milk that series for every penny it's worth. They'll probably have four or five episodes per DVD at twenty bucks a pop. When all is said and done you're in the hole more than a hundred. I spent less than a third of that and have ALL 26 episodes, tachikoma reports, and all the extra's in one neat package.
  19. First Valkyrie I've seen? My older brother got an old Bandai (?) 1:72 Transformable VF-1D Model around 1986, I think my Grandfather picked it up for him at the San Francisco Japantown. First Valkyrie I've owned? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. It was probably a couple of years ago......a reissued Bandai 1:55 VF-1J that I ordered from HLJ.com (which was funny because I ordered a 1:60 Yamato VF-1A instead).
  20. I think I found it lurking around one of the Transformers forums. Maybe tf2005........
