I've always wondered where a majority of MW'ers are posting from (besides the United States). I know there are plenty of you posting from overseas, I figured it'd be kind of interesting if we had some kind of "user map". Do you guys know of an online mapping program? For example....once your zip code is entered into the database, that information is placed onto a world map. Your information is then compared to other MW'ers that live within a certain radius. Anyone know where this can be done?

What about Kakizaki? Did he use seat belts in his VF-1A?

It's one of my favorite "tribute" animes, the amount of (in) jokes GAINAX stuffed into Otaku No Video is almost endless. I also remember the main character having a DYRL poster (along with a VF-1 model....I think) hanging from his wall (just before his breakup with da girlfriend). Did they ever release that on DVD?

Hehehehehe. I watched the DVD a couple of days ago and the music was the first thing I laughed about. You gotta remember that during the late 70's synthesized music was F'N huge. Sure they could have gone with an orchestra, but they wanted something that was "high tech" and new.

I remember when Austin and Angle were both injured about a year or two ago. They were still on Smackdown and were relegated to comic relief, thank god they have great mic skills or I'd have to shoot myself. Anyone remember Stone Cold buying Angle that stupid (and tiny) cowboy hat.

One of my coworkers told me he snagged a 20th OP from the Target in Union City. One of his friends found the last one sitting on the store shelf, needless to say there was a bit of ninja-esque going on (he HID the 20th OP so no one else would find it). BTW...he's been busy trying to find it (Walmart, TRU's, and Target's all around the East Bay). I guess he got lucky last weekend.

What's this news about Yamato releasing a follow up Miria figure? I don't see why they couldn't have done a better job in the first place. Sure, we like our 1/48 Valkyrie pilots nice, small, and stiff. But this is Miria! The Ace Meltrandi pilot that should have more curves than the Autobahn.

I'm not too sure if I'll see Dawn of the Dead this weekend. The new trailer doesn't make it seem that frightening, I'm a fan of the George Romero "Dead Trilogy", last week I finally got to pick up the original Dawn of the Dead DVD. Slow brooding zombies > Fast animal like zombies From what I've heard Tom Savini and the two SWAT guys (that starred in the original) are going to make cameos in the new DotD.

I have the MI version and the first three discs have 5.1 Surround Sound with excellent video (as good as a Region 2 copy). Although the last disc does NOT come with a 5.1 Audio set up, the subtitles could use a little work. The extra's consist of the seiyuu interviews, tachikoma specials, and behind the scenes work.

I think I found the old MW Forums back in December of 2000. Reached about 1,603 posts until the Sith Lords transfered the Forums to a new and shiny place.

WOW. This guy (or girl) knows how to take some really cool action shots. Some of his Macross Plus aerial dogfight scene pics are done pretty well, nifty looking missle trails. It also seems like he made these pics a while ago, I'm suprised why he's not using a 1/48 for those 1/60 (VF-1) beauty shots. You do not FUNK with Seagal. Seagal > Alien

I just saw the MGS:TTS 2003 E3 Promo Vid. I guess they couldn't use the original voice tracks because it required slight changes. Such as Praying Mantis' telepathy scene, in the vid you can hear him say stuff like. "You enjoy playing Nintendo games." "I've heard that Hideo Kojima respects Shigeru Miyamoto."

I've been working at a school for the last three to four years. I'd agree that Pokemon can give children violent tendencies........whEN THEY'RE FOUR OR FIVE YEARS OLD! I'm not too familiar with class structures overseas. Would a thirteen year old student be in Japan still be in (some sort of) junior high or high school? I also didn't know that Pokemon was still popular over there. On a related note. Back in 1985 I punched one of my classmates for saying that GoBots was better than Transformers.

Does anyone know how many Q-Rau's Yamato produced for it's initial run? Do you guys think the price will eventually drop within six months?
