  1. How much are these selling for? Do they have other DC comics Microman figures? The muscle shading looks a little funny.
  2. I've always wanted to pick up Dragon's WWII Army Ranger Captain figure (along with the Tom Hanks headpiece). It's just so damned detailed you can't really go wrong.
  3. I also grabbed Takara's Masterpiece Convoy and Binaltech Smokescreen. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the label (it's in Japanese) says Ages 15 and up. Is this common with toys released overseas? I doubt a 1st or 2nd grader could transform a 1:48 Valkyrie without doing some permanent damage. Does this mean they have Playskool Valkyries for toddlers?
  4. Hands down. The winner has got to be Broadside. Where's the transformation? How can you NOT like Megatron?
  5. If you're a Macross fan then YES. BTW....the question to your answer should be in THIS thread (for future reference).
  6. Hey Rob, I'm looking for an extra gunpod strap for my 1/48, they're not built very well and tore quite easily. I just need the strap......thanks~!
  7. Pleased? Hell, she almost cracked a smile! Actually. I've only seen her smile once.......
  8. Hell yes it is. My brother doesn't watch too much GITS, but he was really suprised when I showed him several episodes. He thought that the animation was almost too good for a TV series. Props to Production I.G for such a great series. Even Motoko is pleased.
  9. Whew. I tried my hardest to avoid Vinny's spoilers. Anyone on MW gonna catch DotD today? I just caught some radio commercials for it. "Are they dead?" "Well. Deadish." That's some great dialogue there. Anyways...I might catch it this weekend.
  10. ......Marge Simpson? Personally I think Marge is way hotter than the other cover model (April 2004 has two Collectible Covers). Does this mean MAXIM's and FHM's overseas will feature anime ladies in the future? Hahahaha.
  11. Whoa. I wonder if Ron some kind of drama between himself and Vinnie Mac. I always thought he'd end up going to RAW (during next week's lottery) and if they were going to disband the APA they should have done it at WM XX. I wonder what'll be Bradshaw's new angle?
  12. THe last match was indeed pretty good. A new Raw? A new Smackdown? A NEW WWE? I wonder who is going to end up where (please bring SCSA back to Smackdown)? ....and Undertaker still looked more of the Biker UT than Old School UT.
  13. I can vouch for Neova's packaging. He even included a nifty carrying strap made out of packaging tape, tons of bubble wrap, and bubble wrap. Did I mention the bubble wrap?
  14. DAMN! I tore my gunstrap hole! The ring went straight through it.....anyone have a replacement gunstrap?
  15. I finally got my first 48 VF-1J. Do you guys have your gunstraps attached? Any alternatives to the shoddy metal rings?
  16. Meh. I never really liked either of the Season 1 logo (domestic or intenational). Anyways, the trailer still looks damned good (it'll be even better if you haven't seen the series). I can't wait for the 5th episode of 2nd GIG.
  17. Yamato (48's) - for sheer acurracy (and beauty) of the sculpt Bandai (55's) - for sheer playability and tough construction Toynami - don't know....never hand one and never will
  18. Does anyone know where I can find a Torrent or DL site for this movie? It seems like an interesting video to check out.
  19. When was the latest DVD of Otaku No Video released? Is this the version that I should pick up? I don't wanna buy and then see a NEWER version end up being released (with more extras). Animeigo's version?
  20. Just a couple of months ago Sony released their robot (the QRIO). I wonder who's going to be next to release the latest robot (maybe a transforming one)? "TOKYO (AFP) - Japan's top carmaker Toyota unveiled a trumpet-playing robot -- its first humanoid machine -- in a bid to catch up with robot technology frontrunners such as Honda and Sony. Toyota Motor Corp. (news - web sites) showed off its walking and rolling virtuoso robots to the media at a Tokyo hotel as it announced the outline of its robot development project. The 120-centimeter (48-inch) tall robot played "When you wish upon a star" with a trumpet as a presenter held a microphone up to the instrument, swaying naturally to the rhythm of the famous song from the Disney cartoon film Pinocchio. The robot, with what appeared to be an artificial green leaf stuck behind its left 'ear', bowed to the audience and waved its arms to respond to applause following the brief performance. The 35 kilogram (77 pound) as yet unnamed robot has artificial lips which can alter their position as subtly as human lips as air is forced through them, enabling it to play a trumpet as it presses the stops with its hands. "We are determined to drive forward the Toyota Partner Robot project by putting together what we have cultivated in automotive development and production," Toyota president Fujio Cho told the news conference. Toyota plans to form a "robot band" to play music at the 2005 World Exposition at the carmaker's base in Aichi, central Japan, the president said."
