Yup. There's already a 20 page thread about the Takara Binaltech/Alternator toyline HERE. You're pretty much paying for a better paint job and diecast. The Altenator line is much cheaper because it's mostly plastic.

Do I dare to buy a third system? It's hard enough juggling time between the Gamecube and PS2, with an X-Box I think it'll be even tougher. It's hard to resist with so many exclusives on the X-Box (but hey....the PS2 DID get Splinter Cell). But who can't afford to pass up Halo 2, Ninja Gaiden, SC: Pandora's Tomorrow, etc.

Ah. It looks like they went with a BOLD lettering for Max's name (as compared to the regular one for Hikaru's Super VF-1J). I like the bluish hue....as Cartman would say....kick ass.

Cool looking robots. Lots of explosions. Love triangle. Spaceships. (mind you....this was when I was in the 2nd grade)

They better say goodbye to Tim Allen and Tom Hanks. Without Pixar there IS no Toy Story. From what I've heard their latest animated feature (Home On The Range) is supposed to be Disney's last cel animated movie.

Excellence in execution. Another superb piece of work. I think you forgot to take out the pegs (in the nose cone) for the Gerwalk and Fighter Modes.

WHOA WHOA WHOA! Very nice find macplus. I think the Max and Miria scene was supposed to be included because scene was part of the (final?) script. In the end they might have run out of funds to animate the entire scene. Where'd you find these pics?

I can already tell they're gonna need work on the hand to hand combat mode. How come I get the feeling that this is the same crew that worked on the Lupin the 3rd PS2 game? Of course the CG cut scenes look damned gorgeous....but when was the last time you saw Spike punch and kick an explosive container? I'll definitely be keeping a lookout for this title. 1, 2, 3 let's jam.

Dayaam! Excellent work Kurt.....you make my VF-1S look pale by comparison. The wash and great stickers really make a BIG difference. Now it looks more model than toy.

Yup. I hope they're still able to release their version. But I also think that KONSPIRA does a great job with their fansubs.

I could do without the maid mannequins and el presidente roboto (although he was pretty funny in that episode). I'd just go for the Major figures (plus Batou and Togusa to finish that cool looking stand).

Damn. I wanted to vote for the VF-1R. I actually picked ETC seeing as how the VF-4 Thunderbolt is the creme de la creme.

Hahahaha. Look at the Captain running for his life. I agree with dedalus001 and the bridge crew SHOULD be wearing some kind of protective spacesuits. I remember a couple of scenes in Gundam: Char's Counterattack where the bridge crew (on the Zeon ships) would transfer to a secondary bridge just before battle. But, much like the Enterprise the bridge of the SDF-1 is vulnerable (even moreseo).

I always felt Yamato should have gone with the type of double hinge they use on the 1/60's. That hinge is SO fragile even moreso with Fast Packs on.

I am betting Prowl will be a 3rd Subaru Impreza. Considering he smoke,and streak were all 280Z's in the Gen1 line. Just as long as he gets a cool black and white scheme and has police lights I don't care what type of car they make him into. I did not know the 3 of them were the same car originally. I can deal with prowl as a Impreza I guess, though I have never seen a Subaru police car before. I've seen more than a couple of pics of Subaru's being used as plice cars.......in Japan no less. Now. If I could only find those pics I could resize them. In fact they were actually using a WRX, and it sure looked sweet in black and white.

Oh but there a twist.
