What ever happened to the updated FX Perfect Edition DVD of DYRL? I thought it was supposed to have better subs........

It definitely has the nicest sculpt when you compare it to all those old Matchbox SDF-1's. I love the amount of diecast on this little sucker, I sure hope Yamato plans on releasing this in the future.

Wasn't there also a 1/72 Perfect Transformation Hasegawa in Fighter Mode. Someone did a bit of modding and made it transform into all three modes (and I've always liked the Hasegawa Battroid more than Yamato's).

I plan on getting this boxset soon. Do any of you MW'ers have the HK boxset of all three Yamato TV seasons? Are they worth the $25+ (for 12 discs)? How're the subs?

Seeing as how they've released most of the 1/60's in 1/48 form I'd say it's a good probability that we'll see the VF-1D in the near future.

Is the GBP really considered a Fast Pack? They're only useful in Battroid mode and I don't see how they'd make a lumbering mass of death move any quicker.

I don't think it'll ever happen seeing as how Kawamori said Flashback 2012 was the last we'd see of the the SDF:M storyline. But, if it WAS to be reanimated them I'm all for it. ABSO"FREAKING"LUTELY.

The last movie that I've seen center around Thailand was Kickboxer. Is this supposed to center around a Muy Thai fighter? The choreography looks pretty good.
