Alright. My shipment from HLJ.com arrived today, suprisingly it only took about a week for my package to get here (SAL shipping usually takes two weeks). It's a pretty nice figure for the price you pay, you can tell right from the beginning that this series DEMANDS upgrades (as apparent by all the mounting points around the figure). The futuristic surfboard is a nice touch and there's also the option to grip it as a weapon. The only downside when the board is used as a weapon is that it's nearly impossible to pose (due to the weight). The figure stands about three inches high and the paint job is pretty decent. It'd be nicer if the eyes were made from same material as Masterpiece Convoy's eyes. But the helmet is a very nice touch that brings me back to the days of G-Force and Bubblegum Crisis. The joints could be a little tighter seeing as it can't even hold a three point stance (again....ONLY while surfboard is in hand). But that's only a very minor annoyance. I'm not sure if you can tell from the pictures but you also get three sets of hands (open, closed, and gripping), two weapons, posing stand, and once again da COOL surfboard. This is definitely a series of figures that I'll look more into.

Yes. I think you're referring to E2 (3x21)........the Enterprise encounters another NX class ship that was manned by their ancestors. Personally, I think this storyline didn't help the Xindi arc one bit. Sure, they were on their way to rendevous with Degra's ship......but it was mostly a filler episode that had little to NO repercussions (except finding out that T'Pol and Trip will have kids). Whoa....I'm gonna have to rate this one JUST below Best of Both Worlds Part One. It's one of those endings (that MAY have been refilmed at the last second due to the renewal mish mash) that make me go over the summer. I loved it when Archer took out da Dolim. Earth without any defenses.........kinda cool. But they could have had one or two ships in orbit. I definitely wanna see how this plays out in Season 4.

It all comes down to this.........one of the greatest seasons of Trek finishes tonight.

Alright fella's. I just finished watching the Season Finale......and I feel sorry for poor Chase Edmonds. This tension was definitely lesser than previous episodes this season. Since I've never seen the first season finale I'm gonna have to rank this one last. I don't mind Jack showing that he's human (with the tears) but it's not something I wanted to see in the last seconds of the episode. Overall I wasn't very pleased with the President's storyline, you'd think that he'd have more pressing issues than putting up with his ex-wife's bullshit. I'm glad he's not runing for re-election......... It sucks that Tony IS getting shafted........and who knows what'll happen to Chase and Kim. MODS......I plan on changing the title to Fourth Season of 24 (I just have to wait until January 2005 to do it).

Hoy pare. I'm currently looking for a dependable travel agent, the tickets for business class flghts (thru PAL) are kinda expensive. Are they carrying any Macross Yamato stuff at FILBAR'S? I remember there was a GREAT store at the bottom floor of Mega Mall (Side A I believe). From what I remember the store was called COMIC WORLD (or ZONE), it had two huge windows filled with Rei statues (at the front of the store). Inside the store everything was neatly displayed in larger glass display cabinets. They were filled with tons of Takara Transformers, Bandai Valkyries, and assorted Gundam merchandise. I also heard the Greenbelt is the new "gimik" spot. When I was there two years ago Powerplant and Eastwood were da HOT SPOTS. I'm not too sure now. LIBIS! SIBIL!

MORE HUGE SEASON 4 NEWS. William Shatner in talks to guest star on ENTERPRISE! A story idea that could see William Shatner (James T. Kirk) appear in Enterprise's fourth season is currently in the works, executive producer Rick Berman said recently. "We have had discussions in the last week, when we were talking with the studio about areas and directions we would like to go in next season, and there were two different ideas that we think could be developed into a good vehicle for Bill," Berman told Ian Spelling in issue 115 of Star Trek Magazine (via Sci-Fi Pulse). "And hopefully we're going to pursue one of them for next season." Rumours of Shatner making a guest appearance on Enterprise have been circulating for the past season. In September, the James Kirk actor said Rick Berman had approached him to play Kirk's grandfather on Enterprise (story). Then, earlier this year, Shatner revealed he had "written a scenario, that I could conceivably come back for a show or two". In his Star Trek Magazine interview, Berman acknowledged that Shatner has a lot on his plate at the moment. "Bill is busy doing The Practice right now, and he's going to be doing the spin-off next season." The actor will play Denny Crane in The Practice: Fleet Street, which will air 10:00 p.m. Sundays on ABC from this fall

I started a thread about Macross items in the Philippines a couple of months ago. There are also several other Filipino members in MW (Bub, Vampire Hunter D, StealthLurker, hikaru, Bobe-Patt, Angel's Fury, etc.). Personally, I don't think you're gonna find it for that much cheaper, save yer pesos for San Miguel Lites, sizzling platters, and a villa in Boracay. Ah....the thread is located HERE.
