I see what you mean, but I think those flaws might be hidden if you try a dark wash at the places where certain parts meet. Like where the sash meets the belly or where the vest meets the body or even the hair meeting the face and the sandals meeting the skin of the feet. It will add a little depth and will help hide the imperfections

Might be a bit larger scale than the pilot figure included, but does look pretty cool standing next to the Queadluun RauI’ll have to get her in hand to do a good comparison I think. But then again I bet someone will beat me to it

Pretty sure horse shoes have to be fairly spot on so they don’t break their legs

I’m totally skipping it, but if you do get around to building it, make sure to put some updates in the workbench section, especially if you put in the light pac

I don’t think everything needs to be another Andor. Skeleton Crew was almost a win. If it could’ve stuck the landing it would be in a category of better shows. The problem isn’t that things need to be more serious , just that they need some more competent writers that can tell a story and not get bogged down by their usual bad choices in the stories.

I’ve been keeping an eye out for it and unfortunately not yet. I’m still hoping they do one because it’s the only variant that I actually want

Definitely the front of super packs that fit on the back.

Star Wars needs some reputation fixing. If they make more good shows and actually deliver a good few movies, even a disliked character like Rey could make a decent comeback. But trying to bring her back too soon would be a huge mistake and putting out garbage before that would be just as big of a mistake.

I finally did it and watched Hundreds of Beavers recently. It took a bit of convincing and found a few spoiler free reviews that all said that it was the funniest movie of the year back in 2024. I really don’t remember too many funny movies from last year, so maybe it’s true, but it may have been a low bar year for comedy. Anyway Hundreds of Beavers definitely won’t be a movie for everyone. I really enjoyed it, but I like some rather absurd things. The budget is practically nothing, all the animals are played by people in furry costumes or are sewn together puppets. and the effects are all animated in. It’s also filmed in black and white and done in a way to give a classic cartoon kinda look to everything. A lot of the music I kinda recognize from other movies like the ending theme, so that was probably another way to keep things cheap. Despite its cheapness, there’s a lot of truly epic scenes. Basically it’s about a drunk that gets his life completely destroyed by beavers and left out in a cold forest and has to navigate his cartoony world and learn gradually how to survive. There’s a running gag that there is a random vendor lodge that’s kinda like something out of a video game that sells items with increasing usefulness depending on the price and the only way to get money is to bring in animals that he’s trapped. There’s a lot of trial and error that’s fun to watch because things only work by cartoony rules. He does meet a more experienced trapper that helps him out, but eventually he has to take what he’s learned and perfect it to meet his new goal of not just basic survival, but marrying the vendor’s daughter. Overall it’s a fun one with a bit of a slow start because the main character has to slowly learn the best ways to perfect his skills from being a guy with zero survival skills to becoming a professional trapper. If you’re ok with absolute absurdity and nonsensical humor, it’s a good watch, but I’d imagine that most will stay away from it after just watching the preview.

Since that’s sorta from Gundam wing, you could try watching the show or at least a few episodes. Maybe get a little inspiration. It seems to be streaming in several spots like Hulu. As far as being not being into Gundam, I’d recommend 08th Ms Team at some point for a short watch that’s very easy to get into without the need for any background information

I liked the last guardians of the galaxy as well as the Deadpool one. I liked the last Spider-Man movie on first watch, but rewatching it was a horrible mistake- 113 replies

The first of the three really wasn’t bad, just kinda been there. The other two were jumbled messes and changing creative heads and scrapping plans for each film was a recipe for disaster

That’s interesting, I’d love to hear that they included a Kakizaki figure as well, now I’ll have to check. Although that’s definitely some wishful thinking on my part

Fantasies rarely had a sequel because they were usually short stories up til maybe dime novels started and eventually Tolkien wrote a story with sequels and prequels and all kinds of things. The idea of milking a franchise is probably older than what I mentioned. Star Wars implies that there’s more than one just from the title. But in my personal opinion any sequel war would have been more interesting if it was much further in the future and just had side stories or smaller stories between that time. To upset the balance of the force kinda thing shouldn’t have been so immediate after the og trilogy ended.

The decals will probably also be included in that fighter version with all the sets. Unfortunately that won’t include Kakizaki himself or the Awsome box

Gundam Show Thread - MSG thru GQuuuuuuX
Big s replied to Black Valkyrie's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I kinda get his basic point. Although not to any extreme. When she does get in the battle for the first time, she overdoes the Kira Kira and kills another pilot, but that’s usually what happens to Kira Kira users. And during the battle with the not Titans, she tries to convince Shuji to leave without Machu, although she just might’ve been panicking due to the situation not being ideal, although I get the feeling that her character is a bit of a subtle planner. She seems to kinda pick up on things faster than the rest of the trio. That’s kinda how I feel about finally watching Hundreds of Beavers on amazon. It’s not a great movie and most people would just nope out at the preview and most of the rest would probably give up ten minutes into the film, but I loved it for what it is. I could give all the reasons in the world why I liked it, but I’m pretty sure a majority of the people would feel tortured by it- 3990 replies

I think the real question is, How does warfare change after Andor and the sequels and stuff? do we get more lightsaber ships? Are tractor beams mostly unused anymore? Are light speed suicide ship tactics a deterrent? Is mounting a Jedi as a hood ornament better than a the usual shielding?

How good are you at making copies? At that scale, it would be very easy to lose details

Bit of a markup, Luna park has it for $47 and some change not sure if they’re a trusted seller these days. I’ll see if there are other options

The colors would be easy to paint, but I want it for the little mini Kakizaki. If I see anything while searching around I’ll definitely do my best to post it
