Hopefully there will be another. I still like it enough to pick one up just so Gambit can quit hitting on Psylocke. The other females had an extra hair piece if I remember correctly

Almost none of the smaller toy companies have been able to stick to their timelines lately. It’s mostly production issues that came up around the pandemic that seem to be lingering. I just figure that if it’s not Bandai or Hasbro, expect a delay and if it’s a really small company, expect that delay to last a while

I think the only difference is the lense cover in the movie pushes the front top part of the lense forward giving it a longer appearance all the lines appear to be the same, just the above images have a different kind of style to drawing. Basically just having that longer lense cover and a side arrow decal will be all that’s needed and it looks like an easy assembly.

Yeah, it can pull off some really great poses. I’d show off the elbow movement a bit more, but every time I move it the thing pops apart. It’s not the most extreme bend, but enough to do some the job. Definitely gonna need glue for anyone that’s gonna build one themselves

BBTs says 2nd quarter, so maybe by summer time before September if they stay on track with the release on the 1J

It’s fairly light . It’s a thinner body and no heavy abs parts. It might be slightly heavier than the hasegawa battroid, but not by too much

As far as the 1-A it will have a flat lense for tv and the extra cover nor the dyrl version according to the picture. The extra cover bit probably just pops into the same hole that’s used for the tv version lense

So I finished both legs and arms for test fits. The elbows definitely need glue or they just fall apart, so I only put one on for pics. The ball joints at the hips are tougher than the feet, but you may want to tighten those as well. Down on one knee poses will be pretty easy. I was surprised that there’s no special gimmicks, just basic joints so far. Even the hips are just ball and poly cap, nothing special, but they’re made in a way that you can still get pretty much any pose you might wantno seams on the shoulders, but there are on the arms but they’re in a way that will be tough to notice. The fuselage has a few seams that could use some attention. I’ll try and do head, hands and gunpod soon

The Matrix looked way more interesting from the original previews at the time. There was also a lot of hype about the new technology going into the making of the movie, even if that eventually kinda became overdone and annoying in only a handful of years. It seemed like a game changer at the time. It still has a concept that felt different even if it really wasn’t anything totally new, just hadn’t been done to death yet. But the major reason for its success was that it was far easier to get a chic at that time to go see Keanu than anything Star Wars. Times are changing and there’s definitely more of a female Starwars fan growth, just like with anime these days, but the power Keanu has over the ladies is still stronger than the force

Reminds me of Witchfynde. I don’t think I’ve really heard this band before. The one thing that really stands out is that bass is on full blast. I like any band that lets their bassist be heard and not drowned out.

Looks really great. Nice paint job and the markings are a nice pop

now I’m trying to remember if Hikaru is the only one to try and use the neck as an entrance and exit.

The clip is a part that needs a hole drilled into the side of the arm, but is included with the d type. The head forward parts are not included, but might be able to be swapped in for this and modded for a single seat. They were kind of later developed parts and might be something that they include on future releases.
-
Yeah, they have to cover it with tissue paper to contain the naughtiness
-
It’s almost there, but some parts will pop off if not glued. But it’s only gonna take a drop here and there and the ball joints will need thickening to really give it strength, but that just takes a little super glue over the ball peg and it should be fine with minimal effort. one thing that is easier is that the plastic is a bit softer than the Bandai kits and is far easier to clean it the nubs
-
Or that could be standard, Bandai is weird that way
-
Just in case his band mates forget which song to play in the heat of battle
-
Something I forgot to mention is that there’s a few parts that definitely need glue, there are some parts to take caution with like the white armor around the lower legs. Those panels are pretty loose and I have a feeling they’re designed to be removable for extra add ons like super parts, so those you may want to leave a little loose just in case you want to eventually add something on instead of buying an additional kit. The little circles around the ankles will probably be fine to glue in place though, those things just plop off too easily

Wake me up when we finally get to see one of those A-Hole monkey lizard things using one -
The polycaps are thick and durable, but a little on the loose side. The ones at the knee seem fine, but the ball joints at the feet and hips don’t hold weight very well as is. They don’t pop off or anything, just sag without much pressure. It’s not a problem that can’t be fixed. Just thicken the ball pegs with a coat of super glue and they should be fine. I haven’t built much else yet though and can’t say for sure on the arms or body yet. As far as Regults, the hasegawa are very poseable and surprisingly look very anime compared to their Valkyrie kits. I’d say they look pretty good paired with the plamax kits. I think Hasegawa wanted something that looked like it was constructed by aliens to set them apart from earth made mecha like they’re Valkyrie offerings. By the way Wave Destroid kits will probably look better with the Plamax kits as well
