Don't forget that image has two more series covered up in the middle row. One of them is Seven, the other could be Plus, so I could see them doing a VF-11 for both.
Definitely would love some 11’s. I like the one from plus the most as a basic vf, but would absolutely spaz if there’s an armored one from 7🤞

I'd buy a HMR Legioss.
Has Bandai ever done anything for Mospeada. I couldn’t think of anything, but it would be cool to see

Weird that Mcfarlane’s most spawn action figure isn’t Spawn

From the series pictured I'd buy:
Queadluun-Rau and Nousjadeul-Ger from SDFM.
VF-2JA, VF-XS, Metal Siren, and Mardook Mecha from Macross II.
SV-51 and Destroid Cheyenne from Macross Zero.
VF-171 and VF-27 from Macross Frontier.
VF-31A and Sv-303 from Macross Delta.
Those are some interesting picks, I’m hoping that they do the non transforming mecha as well. Not sure if they will, but I do have hope, although I’m also still hoping for an hmr tomahawk……………

If they do the VF-25, perhaps I can finally throw out the old VF100 series in my collection... 😆
I threw that junk out a couple years ago. I was a little sad to do it, but also very relieved. I had the armored red stripe and sniper basic pack and they would just stand there looking pretty, but every now and then would fall over and it would be like a grenade exploded. They didn’t even fall to the floor, just kinda to the side or something and it was hamburger hill all over the room from a fall of an inch or less.

I don’t know if that’s as much an impact as the fact that they’d be really limited on where they could sell from. Hlj is probably the only place in Japan selling them to outsiders and Bandai would have to jump through some licensing hoops to have over seashores stock them. I kinda get the feeling that they started with Plus due to American interests to test the waters though. But I don’t know if wave is really gonna be an issue as much as just another reason to hold up a little longer.

I'll be interested to see if they do a similar multi-version release for the battroid kit.
It wouldn’t be too difficult. Just need a movie hand set and pack in all the head and decal options

I'll immediately be right back in, though, if they announce a VF-1 and/or VF-0. Or dare I hope, a VF-4.
I think the VF-1 is a going to happen, but not anytime soon. They do have zero on that list, so I could see a vf-0 . I still hope they keep doing plus and 7, so I can get a vf-11 and hopefully an armored version.

So these are the ones I guess you can make using the included markings in the deculture pack. I’m pretty sure there would be some painting involved in some of these
-
-
Kinda thinking that the deculture set would be good for people that bought the initial release since this comes with decal options
-
Vf-1 deculture package includes a fighter with 1A,J and S heads and movie and tv pilots as well as markings and there’s also a missile pack set . Both up for preorder now

I’m disappointed about that. I thought they were going to use the face of the pilot who gets hit and climbs out of her cockpit before dying.
I kinda thought that as well

official TamashiWeb page for the HMR Blood Football...

firefox-translated:
I don’t know which part of that translation is funnier, the “blood football” or the appearance “Armored Trooper Bottoms”.

Oof. Was planning on seeing it for Valentine's Day date night but think we'll just wait till it comes to streaming instead.
As for the "don't trust critics" response I get it but I'm not risking to spend $40 to $50 to watch a single movie that may suck.
Yeah, I get the don’t trust the critics, but it’s kinda tough when even the easy going ones aren’t impressed.

It's gonna be a pass for us. My wife loved the original and has zero interest.
I don’t blame you. I might watch it one day if I ever felt like rewatching the cartoon as an option, but I haven’t even done that in a while.

Ok A24, you managed to trick me
How do they trick you at this point? It’s A24, you know it’s gonna be awkward. It’s sorta like wondering if there’s gonna be a twist in a M Night Shyamalan movie

Unfortunately, according to Experten himself on Twitter, the kit isn't available to ship to the US. For 25, 000 yen, I'd have been in for a kit. This is a grail toy. I keep hoping for Arcadia (little chance) or Bandai's HMR line (slightly greater chance) to make a toy of the VG, but thus far, the main makers of Macross toys have shown no interest. At the very least, Experten shows that it can be done, done well, and throws down the gauntlet for the big makers to take notice. I hope it sold out quickly demonstrating a clear desire amongst the fans for this mech.
In the other thread, it totally sold out right away.

Spartan looks good with just added mobility.
Is that the old Imai kit? That company was a few decades ahead of their time

What I love best about these Max Factory battroids isn't the simplicity, or the anime-accurate proportions, or the fabulous articulation...
...nor is it the consistent look of the packaging or the terrific box art...
...it's the 1:72 scale-accurate figures they come with. 😍
Sure, they'll be a pain to paint, but look how well-sculpted they are!
Max Factory seems to do really well with small scale figures. The Dougram ones are great as well

Hasegawa pops out another color variant of the same mold.
People are surprised.
I'm surprised people are surprised that Hasegawa does Hasegawa
Yeah, no surprise here. It’s the exact same kit with less face on the pilot.
-
I still think they should have added standing figures of Max And Mirya and maybe a generic meltran as incentive to buy this one.

The reactions will probably be “That was stupid, but I loved it cause it has dinos”

I kinda doubt Bandai will do these two since wave is already right about to have them in 1/100
