I just got a look at the volks booth at anime expo. I saw the testa rosa, and I gotta say that that is a huge box. They have it built and on display and it's a big bastard. I don't think I can fit it in the car with the family luggage. I also got to see the 1/35 Berzerga super execution. It doesn't look like it has a pilot figure, but it does have a full opening cockpit and it looks great. Tomorrow that's the one I'm picking up before leaving.

Anime Expo. July 1st-4th, 2016.

Turns out the vampire hunter d series panel was for an American comic that they hope will be popular enough to start an animated 1 hour series. As much as I love D I don't think it will take off. -

Is that for the autograph session separate from the panel discussion? -
Have they confirmed destroids? I love the hmr figures and I also love kits, but I think the tomytech vf1 won't be as poseable as the figures due to joint style. That doesn't bug me too much though and I think the destroids will pose better for tomytech due to the lack of parts forming and having less obstructions to the movement. Personally I am really liking what I'm seeing from both lines so far and will collect both. They're different enough for me to find high points for both so far and if non Valkyrie mecha are coming to this line I will be a happy bastard🤗

The ankle armor confuses me on that one. Up until I think the mid nineties the ankle armor was attached to the lower leg, then almost every Gundam since has had it connected to the foot. It feels a little odd, but I'm still getting on or two. I haven't read or seen origin yet and was wondering about that machine gun. It's the same as the Gouf test type and much bigger than the 08th ms Team version. Did Zeon make it first? Is there a story to this anywhere?

I was listening to the Heidi and Frank show yesterday morning and they had the Schmoes on talking about the fact that they couldn't do a review until opening day because it wasn't screened for critics, which is usually a sign that the studio knows they dropped a turd. They really didn't like that movie, then they went on about how no one knows what BFG stands for. Lots of jokes about the F and even an old Doom referance.- 277 replies

I was surprised to see some sites already sold out of the Stone Cold and Rock figures, while ObiWan is still there hoping someone will pick him up with his sad puppy dog eyes😔

I think everyone is hinting at "no" one the extra part. But the fix may not be too dificult, just gotta learn a new skill. -

Hobbysearch has the parts and instruction sheet up for view. Looks like poly caps for easy part swapping. And I was looking at the battroid connection for the upper torso just above the heat shield and there's a polycap that looks like it can swivel forward. So maybe that can help get enough space between the upper thigh and the wings to allow some clearance for better posing. It also looks like it may have some side swivel as well.

Personally I never use setting solutions, but I do use microsol decal solvent. Gloss coat first then decal then solvent after the decal is dry. Some decals may need another coat or two to make the decal conform to the surface. They recomend cleaning the decal with a little water after a quick dry time then top coat. If I'm painting the kit, I will use a little over spray of the color I used around the decal to blend the edge better, then top coat. On the Gundam real grades everything seemed to be molded correctly with no seam lines, so I just did the gloss, decal, solvent, then top coat.

I'm definitely getting the Max, but I sure hope the next standard release after that is a destroid or another Zentraidi mecha.

Disney does a lot of things no one asked for, like the upcoming jungle cruise movie. I just think Tron can still fit in even if it wasn't the big cash cow they expected.

I don't think they need to choose between one or the other. They produce Marvel films, Starwars, and Pixar stuff as well as their live action princess thing and films based off of rides things. Tron would fit in with Their remakes as well as rides and belated sequels all in one now.

It's not styrene, but will probably be fine. You can test it on a clear piece of sprue before using to be safe.
