    I never liked her, I always thought she was trying too hard to be artsy and just came off as pretentious and annoying. But I’m not as into pop music. She kinda seemed like goth but not goth enough. I remember hating her videos back in the day

    Oddly, to me this was the best episode. It breaks canon and a lot of stupid things happen, but at least Obi did something heroic for the first time in four episodes of his own damn show. But this show is still a dumpster fire overall and the writers should be fired. btw for anyone defending Vader by saying he was playing the long game by purposefully letting obi go at the end of the last episode, this one proves that that was not the case. He was genuinely angry and started blaming turd sister for her failure. Even Vader sucks in this show

    Yeah, and it was a galactic fail. Obi would have had more success if he just slapped them. Kinda wondering if those endless will smith memes are coming back after this episode. Now that I think of it he did use it a little last episode when he used the farmer as a shield because he was a total coward then.

    Just finished the last available episode. Would’ve finished it sooner, but fitting in episodes the length of a movie was a little tough. I personally remember a lot of that satanic panic stuff. I remember parental groups get angry over things like Dungeons and Dragons, and of course the infamous amazes and Monsters propaganda movie starring Tom Hanks. I also remember parental groups getting bent out of shape over rock and metal. The Eddie character wearing the Dio patch is a great touch. Parents hated Dio back then and that kid looks straight out of an Anthrax liner band picture. Parental groups really seemed mad at everything cool during the 80’s and eventually got to the cartoons that everyone loved at the time for being toy commercials and such. Oddly it made you feel like an absolute badass if you were into the stuff the parents and religious groups were always trying to cancel.

    Looks great, a nice frankenkit too. I remember the first time seeing it on screen and being super confused. Oddly there were some old orgus toys and kits at the local stores back when hobby shops were in every neighborhood. I would always recognize the design and ask friends if that was the one in Macross. Unfortunately it was before the internet, so it was hard to get a clear picture off the vhs recording we made from Robotech. It wasn’t until a few years later that we found out that it was more of a teaser for Orgus

    Don’t forget the best one, the amazon show, the new season of the Boys. That will be an interesting way to do it since ms Marvel is so kid friendly and the Boys shouldn’t even be watched by teenagers

    The new movies are stupid , but fun. Although a new take on the franchise might be a really good thing. Maybe even something like a higher budget streaming series that like you said, sticks closer to the books.

    I sort of expect a reboot soon after the films that are currently in production get their releases. They’ve pretty much wiped all the shows other than maybe peacemaker. The only new projects that I’ve heard any talk about are the ones that don’t have a real connection to the snyderverse, like the Batman sequel and the second joker film. Honestly I’m not really sure where the Suicide Squad and peacemaker really stand. There are a lot of cut backs from WB after their shift in leadership and the new guy in charge didn’t seem too happy about how things have been going.

    They really seem to be introducing a lot more characters. It’s gonna be a real disappointment to the fans if the rumors of a dc reboot end up true

    At least it’s not the newer series. I do highly suggest the old anime series though

    Yeah, this show is a mistake for the most part as is any of the stories that are back stories. At least this episode Obi acted like a hero for once. I still think it was odd how many hits those storm troopers took from a lightsaber.

    Ms marvel is definitely more for the kids, but not bad. Definitely took a lot of influence from Scott Pilgrim. The first episode is a pretty long origin episode with no major plot to the series yet. Although the end credits hint at something

    It is kinda weird that just being ok is an improvement, but I’ll take it. Not a lot to complain about and not much to praise either. 2 episodes left and maybe there’s hope.

    That sounds like a really bad idea. Watched the fourth episode and it was kinda ok for the most part, which is better than just another bad episode. Storm trooper armor seems very inconsistent. Sometimes a slap works well and other times it takes several hits with a light saber. I was also a little under the weather and the drunken cameras at the beginning we’re making me feel like I was gonna lose my dinner, but that’s probably not their fault

    Might be good. It’s gonna be tough to do a good sequel. It would probably also have to answer some of the awkwardly ambiguous questions about the first movie that might make the first less interesting
