  1. Oddly the gameplay looks a little closer to the cover design, but that’s pretty close to the cutscene, maybe just the upper legs and arms are a little longer than they should be, but not by much. I actually really like this design I really didn’t get a chance to play this one as much as Assault Suit Leynos, because I was totally obsessed with that on the genesis when it came out as Target Earth. So I really didn’t get as caught up in the Metal Storm info.
  2. This is the average Disney storyline for Male hero characters. They have to make them appear extra weak and failed and frail so their female replacement seems stronger and smarter. It’s the same thing they keep rehashing from Starwars in The Obi show and The sequels and Indiana Jones and even Willow. Even the Hulk and Nick Fury and Hawkeye felt like they were going down those paths. They literally be that storyline way too much and haven’t thought of a better way to make a really great aged wise master that hasn’t fallen into depression and self loathing. The original Trilogy had a wise master in Ol Ben Kenobi that had some regrets, but definitely wasn’t totally depressed and filled with self hatred. He had good spirits and was an uplifting character
  3. Is that from cut scenes? I don’t remember it looking like that in gameplay. Resin kit?
  4. Honestly, I didn’t really care much for Rogue one. It’s better than most Disney stuff though, but o just didn’t really like any of the characters. Especially that weird suicidal guy that gave up on his porch. I did like K-2so though. But I still liked the Andor series even though I never liked Andor himself. I still don’t know who Manny Bothans was Honestly, I found the story extremely easy to follow even though I’ve never read any of the novels, maybe a couple issues of a comic and only played one or two games and never bothered with the badly animated cg series. The cortosis thing got explained in the following episode well enough for me, but the rest of the stuff was mainly just terrible writing. I don’t think any amount of EU knowledge would help explain the actions of most of these characters like the beaver dude. It was mostly a problem that could have easily been solved by trimming this down to a single movie because there was just way too much time spent on nothing and repeating stuff that already happened and just overall delaying things
  5. I have fun with them. Just a bit of primer and then a quick panel lining to separate the areas that need color. Sometimes it’s fun just using some water color pencils since they’re easily erased and blended.
  6. Yeah, the ladies are gonna leave their boyfriends for it. I guess they needed some attention after that whole dune popcorn bucket fiasco
  7. I only watched a few episodes when they started a free preview on amazon, but I forgot to finish the first season before it got pulled. Not sad about that at all. It really wasn’t good. Maybe one day a better service will actually put some money into the show and deliver a better story
  8. Friday nights for a while were burger and rental nights. First stop was the video store and then to one of the many burger places. If we had friends over then it was movies and pizza . Every now and then we’d change it up with Tacos
  9. That’s one of those few classics that I could find at the video store on rental day. It’s not like today, where anime is everywhere with countless titles. I wouldn’t mind rewatching it now since it’s been a long time
  10. Yeah, it’s definitely good for a change. Hope that it gets some attention
  11. That probably had something to do with why people didn’t care to even start Andor, but I gotta put the blame a bit more on those first few episodes. They were really really bad. If you get passed the second half of episode 3 of Andor, it’s definitely worth it. But the viewership was totally killed and had put the show in extreme jeopardy. It was only a small amount of viewers that really liked the show. Even now after word has gotten out about how good it ends up, I still haven’t met any actual people that liked it, either because they didn’t watch or just hated the beginning and never wanted to try it out.
  12. The description says four kits in this series with optional parts to swap between them I love the design, even if he’s missing a head unit. Now that I look at the face years later, kinda reminds me of a disgruntled fish robot
  13. Wow! , we’re losing a lot of greats this summer. He was definitely a class act. When I was growing up a lot of his stuff was in syndication. Lots of old school fun
  14. It’s actually a stupidly simple process. I just do a quick spritz of chrome on the back of the clear part and then if need be a clear color like red over the top. I used Alclad on the chrome with an airbrush and just got a little watered down tamiya clear red with a hand brush for the clear red. If the part is already colored. Like a clear green piece, then you only need to chrome the back. It also works if the part the lense attaches into gets painted with chrome. Some gundam gm kits have a thin piece for its face covering, but a detailed part underneath. Just chrome the the under part usually by putting a gloss black surface and then chrome over that and then just pop on the clear part over that.
  15. Actually, it did pretty bad. For those that finished the show, it was fairly heavy on the likes. But the majority of the viewers hated the first episode or two so much that they never finished it.
  16. Another great looking kit. Metal colors truly are a pain to capture, even with the best cameras. Somehow the luster gets lost and they usually are amazing in person.the sensor eye is a clear piece with a chrome painted backing on my Assault Suit Leynos. It looks alright in these pictures, totally dull in others, but in bright daylight is so reflective that the little piece can be seen for the other side of the house. It’s an effect that I wish translated on camera
  17. The majority of their sci fi products seem to be from video games, so those are definitely possibilities
  18. It takes place a long long slightly longer time ago, back when newsstands were a thing. The audience today probably wouldn’t have an any idea what those were, but at least they understand that OSHA was responsible for putting guard railings on walkways because of her emotional attachments from turning to the dark side, that and cancer warnings for everything
  19. Not sure if anyone remembers Wolf Fang: Kuuga, but this is the next franchise to have a kit in this line. It’s a little simple looking in the surface details, but seems pretty spot on for an older ps one game. Of course those simple surfaces kinda would make it rather easy to add some personal details.the lil dude is a great bonus in my opinion.
  20. It’s definitely a very unique aspect of his vocal style, but I can only do three at a time before I need something from the opposite end of the spectrum, like maybe Lemmy for a change up.
  21. Her dying and the constant reshowing of her rotting corpse were some of the only highlights of this show 😊 I have my doubts that there will be a second season.
  22. I’m not saying that it’s not possible, just that I’m 50/50 on it. Why hide in a cave if you’re the master? It could just be that he’s a creepy perv, but as I said on the previous page, there’s also the idea that he could just be checking things out to learn from the witches or he could’ve been manipulating things indirectly for a while without making himself known. The hand to hand combat was pretty cringe though That’s probably next on his list of movies that weren’t supposed to get a follow up. I think it was just last year they had History of the world and this year they announced the new Space Balls.
