She was kinda getting with the Zaku pilot not the chubby dude, but either way she was the first female animated gundam pilot, although I wouldn’t count her as the main character of 0080.

I thought that it looked like the guy we head as well. The bright gem and low face maybe

I don’t know if I like them or not, but definitely unique. The colors and clear parts do stand out on the new main clown gundam. The purplish one looks a lot like an ibo badguy

Not gonna lie, I kinda like that song too. Totally beats most of the music most people are blasting these days.

I've wondered the same thing. I've come up with several ideas:
Advances in quality of hobby supplies and paints increase painting quality for everyone, even total nubes.
Youtube and other online tutorials spreading knowledge.
Cross influences from different types of hobbies, electronics, and art into scale models.
All types of people and personalities get into scale modeling, not just the sci-fi or military fans.
And now with 3D Printing, the future will knock our socks off even more.
The 3D printing is definitely getting better. It’s getting to the point where the layer lines are getting harder to see year by year. We may just be all downloading kits in 20 years rather than buying straight from the hobby companies. Things like colored and even moving parts are happening as well. Maybe they’ll even have a simple inexpensive way to program painting the full kit one day down the line. Just program a simple weathering or complex cell shading or maybe even intricate graphics to the model. Until then just gotta get your hands dirty

Wow....
So at what point in our lives did we just say 'oh heck...I can make that rea-life kit look exactly like a painting'? Or a cel?
I mean how did we all collectively just level up from 'weathered' to this all of a sudden?I find it absolutely insane.
I feel like it kinda started with the gamers trying to make the minis look like the painted cover art, then the anime fans with their resin figure kits and things went all kinds of wild from there. I feel like whatever anyone wants to do they will find a way to turn a basic kit into a work of art

I feel like neither of those guys know enough info either.

I heard that earlier in the night. Sounds like everyone thought he was just feeling under the weather. I don’t think they have a cause yet, but he was only a few years older than myself, and that kinda thing just makes you think

Sledge hammer was definitely a great show and amazing concept. I always liked that he always made sure his true love was comfy with that little pillow.
I love the episode where they got lost at sea and he used the only flair to shoot down the rescue plane

My brother used to sing the p**** cow jingle as well. I thought it was just him, I guess it was a common mistake

Pretty sure it will bear precious little resemblence to Voltron or Golion anyways.
If it was golion, it would be R rated

"Distracting" is not a strong enough word. I don't care if it's a "style" choice by the animators, it looks like garbage. All I can think of is to ask "What is this weird phantom house they have sitting in front of their light source?"
It's not like they decided that actual shading takes too much work, because pretty much everything else looks perfectly normal aside from that stupid filter.
Honestly, I don’t get it at all. It really messes with my eyes. Other than that the animation looks fine, but I can’t get past that shading
-
The animation doesn’t look bad, but that weird triangular shading is kinda distracting

Finished Raised By Wolves. I'm underwhelmed and will be surprised if there is a season 3.
I didn’t realize it was already the last episode of the season. That show took a simple concept and went so far off the rails with crazy subplots that I have to agree that I’d be surprised if season 3 happens

I’m most excited for the trooper and Storm Shadow, but I gotta say that that has gotta be the best scarlet figure to ever come out

Well this was unexpected, I loved the first season.
The first season was good, but it felt like it ended. Not sure how this season will be.

These are just unbelievably good. Better than anything Hasbro has done in the last 20 years, by far. Too bad they're $50 a pop!
They might be pricey, but for the most part these are the G.I. Joe’s I’ve really wanted. The straight up cartoon style without modern modifications are exactly what I always wanted.
Now they got the cobra trooper, gonna need an officer soon to tell him what Cobra Commander told him to do

I guess in space, there are no weight restrictions

I think it would be great to get the hulk in a Deadpool movie. It’d be pretty funny since currently both characters are a bit too chatty.

I kinda worded that strangely up above. I meant that it came to the U.S. around then, not that it was made here. It would show up on those previews right before the movie on the vhs tapes back in the day. It was back when tapes were still kinda popular and this one was fairly easy to find back then. In the 80’s my brother and I had a few of the old school toys that made it stateside, but didn’t know anything about the show. When I saw orgus 2 I needed to find the og stuff. A few years later dvds were big and found a bootleg. Good times. I think the official dvd didn’t make it here until more than a decade after that , so I bought that as well. I haven’t watched orgus 2 in years, not since I had an actual vhs player. I don’t really remember much from it

I got a reply from HLJ
"We have no plans to suspend selling Bandai kits of any kind overseas, and intend to fill all Bandai and Gunpla orders we receive. We don’t have any changes to report regarding this, but rest assured we will let you know if anything changes in the future."
Makes you wonder what's up at Hobbysearch?
If the news from dero is correct, it’s because hlj only allows one of each preorder item per customer. Hobby search on the other hand allows three. So I guess going by this hobby search was breaking that quota. I don’t think I have any Bandai kits currently on preorder with them, but I’m wondering if anyone else does and if they will still honor those. I know back when hlj was having Star Wars problems they still honored the preorders made before the rule change.
I actually like hlj, just wish they’d make their site a bit better. Hobbysearch has the easiest one to use and I’m gonna miss being able to reference the instruction manuals. I think they were the only site that did that.

I still wouldn’t count her as the pilyof the gundam, just a stand in. I guess the mkII might also count, but the Alex was the first one to only be used by a female pilot, but even then it wasn’t supposed to be hers. If I remember correctly they wanted Amuro to get it
