Just started watching the Cowboy Bebop anime for the first time. It's well animated and fun but don't see why people think its the best. Will that realization come the further I get in the series?
It was nothing like the anime when it came out other than the broke space bounty hunter thing. It was grounded yet sci-fi at the same time. It merged style with the look that nothing else could match and influenced a lot of titles that came after it. And for the American viewers it had one of the best dub work even if some viewers were die hard sub fans.

People crash drones into the sides of buildings and other stuff all the time. If these become too affordable and mass produced then everyone is in for some serious home insurance increases
-
It does look like an entertaining movie, hopefully it will be as good as the hype
-
I’m definitely gonna have to see it. It’s got Ash teaming up with Spawn to defeat zombies or protect hyper consumerism. Either way I gotta see it

I actually like what I’m seeing so far. I didn’t want them to just completely copy the anime, so this seems like a lot of stuff from the show but with some differences here and there. If it ends up too close to the anime, then may as well watch the anime. I’m very hopeful for this one

I like that they put an arrow to avoid confusion

It’s almost Halloween, so we decided to give the new Halloween Kills a try. I wasn’t expecting much and there actually is an interesting premise that everyone is tired of dealing with Michael Myers, so the entire town is up in arms.
Unfortunately the movie isn’t really scary and is more silly. It’s not boring, but there’s no real tension and you kinda know exactly what’s gonna happen. It may be a better option for a free watch, but I wouldn’t suggest paying for it

I think Fillion got passed up for other actors in a lot of roles. Now he’s turning into the entertaining cameo guy rather than the star he could have been
-
He’s got a few freaky new trailers recently. I’m looking forward to every freaky movie that guy has coming out

I think it’s the third or fourth time for those jegan kits

Looks like a lot of rereleases and a couple new ones

Maybe I should have used the term “slightly “ more realistic. I haven’t seen them all the way through, just bits and pieces and they aren’t as cartoonish, but from the sound of things they’re about as realistic as a fast and furious movie
-
They must be selling fairly well if they’re doing repaints

Bad choices of words are common on threads like these. Some people are bad at grammar and others are in a rush or just tired. I find it’s best not to take things too literally
-
You could do the Halloween edition of the above set with Michael Myers looking in the window
-
I like the classic bond movies for the cheese factor and fun. I really wasn’t excited about the more realistic take on the franchise. I’ll probably watch all the new ones one day though

I think that’s the entire reason he disagrees. He got a good copy and the other guy got a bad sample. Although if there were more reviews one way or another, that would probably be something that would show a trend. With every release of a product, someone is likely to get a bad one. But if a lot of people get a bad one then that’s a bad product. Hopefully it was just the one bad one and everyone else has a good copy. I don’t know if these particular companies have good customer service regarding replacements or repairs

Looks like a fun one for sure

There’s another show I used to watch with my dad when I was little.

All this talk about news media and cool names for tv reminded me that there was a news anchor with the name Wolf Blitzer. That dude may be famous for what he does, but missed his calling to be an NFL quarterback or action movie star.

Maybe the bad guy is really clay face

I think Airwolf had a similar fate. I think it was repurposed at one point as an ambulance and may have actually saved some lives, but that may just be legend
-
Airwolf was just a dressed up business use helicopter. They often show similar models in other films and I always look at them and think Airwolf. I had an old plastic kit that had the option to leave off the dress up parts and I always thought, “why?”
