"He-Man and Masters of the Universe" Film by Sony
Big s replied to Mazinger's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
This will probably be a crappy but awkwardly enjoyable film, with horrible sequels that get worse as the franchise goes on. -
Personally I don't like 1/144 kits being fully transformable. They usually end up over complicated and crappy. I kinda wish they would do 2 in 1 kits where you get a kit for both modes. Any way on to the subject of real grades, that review made me sad. I have the sinanju in my private wearhouse and was looking forward to it, but I will still take it anyway and hope for a better experience.

Every time I check up here for news on the wave vf4 I realize I made the mistake of being on the vf4 master file theead🤔

My guess is that they are taking a December break from hmr. They were an every 2 month release until recently and now there will be one a month for September, October and November. If there is a January release we will probably hear about it towards the end of the month. Hoping for more destroids or a tv q rau.

Was the dominion war the one where the would talk about a major battle that was going to happen and then cut to Klingon victory songs instead of showing the battle?

I have to agree about that because everyone went to see Starwars with a female lead, but no one went to see ghostbusters. I think a lot of people are going to see rogue one and that has a female lead as well, but both movies are in the same universe without the reboot stigma. I guess the lesson is don't make a favorite film irrelevant.

Hobby search has the Geara Doga mg listed for rerelease. So if you can't find one now other sites will also be listing it as well. I just checked the hobby search site and they are taking preorders for it now with an October rerelease. If you don't like their site other sites will get them in at about the same time, but may not list a preorder.

The real issue isn't if it was bad or good or man vs women, it's that nobody not even women wanted this film. That's the reason this film bombed and is in the hole for over $70 million and may be more with nobody buying the merch either or more marketing to try and get people to buy the video release that's coming.

I have to agree that reboots don't do as well. If the subject is more 50 years old they do a bit better. The King Kong film did ok and Godzilla made some cash, even though I didn't like either. One reboot I loved was the Judge Dredd movie, but no one went to see it in the theatres, maybe for the R rating. I also think the robocop one was ok and had some very interesting ideas, but I would never choose it over the original. Annie was a subject that no one today even cares about.

I was looking a bit closer at the gm and it looks like a newer design rather than reusing the parts from the ground gundam and may be more similar to the ez8, but possibly even newer than that. The parts on the lower arms look like the go together different, but the upper thigh is missing the seam line and looks smooth like the ez8.

I like all the origin kits shown and that gm from 08th ms team is a must have. I have one of the weapon sets with the sniper rifle so I may get a couple of them and paint one green, because knowing bandai they will release a web exclusive sniper instead of a major release.

I personally don't know anyone planning on paying for the cbs streaming, so I don't think std will do so well.- 466 replies

I think bandai had a teaser for a vf2 hmr, but I may be mistaken. Either way nothing from evolution toy has impressed me yet. Maybe they will improve on quality and design in the future.

Is like to see the rest of the tv and dyrl mecha, but a gnerl packaged with a cool stand would be awesome.

I heard that China wouldn't show it because of the spiritual issues, similar to the reason they wouldn't show ghostbusters recently. From what I understand they don't like foreign ghosts or cults or witchcraft, but Warcraft is fine.

I think the trend has changed at least for deadpool being released in February and being successful. Summer movie season over recent years has been starting in spring around April. It used to be around June and every couple of years it gets earlier.- 466 replies

I think it was a case of bad timing. They opened on the weekend of comicon so people were on a budget, even the ones who didn't go were saving for exclusive items sold by third parties. There were a few cg kids films still in theatres and the next weekend had a new Bourne film I forgot was happening and this weekend was suicide squad. Maybe an off month would have been better, it worked for Deadpool.- 466 replies

I've heard gel toothpaste doesn't work, but the old fashioned white is the one to use. -
I think the ho would probably be best since the scale is a bit off for hmr.

I have yet to find a need for the clips.

Lookin good so far.

When I said that the box art gives hope for the new year I was actually referring to the other destroids on the box like the defender and I'm not sure on the one behind the monster, but it looks like it has tan legs so I was thinking missile phalanx or tomahawk. But a non dyrl macross would be neat. It could be the expensive hmr for 2017.
