  1. I have to agree with Thom. Here in the U.S. things aren’t perfect, but they’re pretty good and it’s mostly because we aren’t 100% capitalist or socialist. We try to take things that work from both spectrums and sometimes we fail, but for the most part we make it work

  2. The part I don’t think anyone can get right on the GP01 and would be impossible if you want the kit to pose would be that waist armor connection to the upper thighs. There was a really good static garage kit that came out not too far back, but I’d have to go back a few dozen pages to find it

Oh man, they so badly need to produce a ver.2 GP01...

I mean, every single angle on the MG was wrong. <_<

It’s totally wrong for the original art, but they were going with the katoki redesigns on everything around that time. Personally I would like to see as close to a true Kawamori version as possible in either mg or hg. The rd version is probably the closest so far

  4. Honestly, I didn’t like most of the original timeline movies that much. The first two were good from what I remember, but I really didn’t like the rest much if at all. The first reboot wasn’t bad but they definitely went downhill from there.

As far as how much the second movies of both timelines made, as said earlier there definitely inflation to think about. If  it’s only five times more than a movie from the 80’s, it was only a couple bucks for a movie ticket back then. The prices have gone up more than five times that much since then especially if you count some of those tickets were premium 3D and imax purchases. I’m not trying to be harsh on the theater since I know they are trying hard to stay profitable in competition  with the streaming options

  5. It probably wouldn’t be too tough for someone to make copies of the figure. The details look like they are molded in as well, so you may not need the decals for him.

I still hate that wave does this so often. Like I said on the previous page with the Votoms, you have to wait half a year and then the second release comes out with all the extras. The rabidly dog had no pilot or downform parts and didn’t even have a complete cockpit when I got my first one, so I understand the frustration a lot of people have that don’t know how they do things. I’ve been there. But at least with a standard release votoms kit it still looks cool, whereas this looked like it was missing something

For most DeMaggio is Bender. So it would be hard to have the Bender of the original series in the Revival and not be voiced by him.

There is some interesting things they can do with a recast, but that is not what the studio is banking on. It's all about nostalgia and staying in the past.

I totally agree. It just wouldn’t be the same. And he has that iconic voice that you know who it is even though it’s just a voice. From things like Adventure Time to Disenchantment and even newer shows like Inside Job, you hear his voice and know it.

  7. As far as prime, there’s a new season and side project for The Boys, Invincible, hopefully a new season of Hunters and after getting through the first three let down episodes of Vox Machina it gets better and now I like it. Vox Machina definitely had some kinda crappy first episodes, but I think after seeing the last few, it changed my mind. The humor is still a bit cringy though.

I still want more of a bigger preview of this new Lord of the Rings. This one looks a bit rough with the cg and doesn’t really tell much about the story, but I’m hopeful
