Pretty sure actually. They seem to be doing a lot of hg wing kits from the series lately. They did both wing versions, the sandrock, the Leo and even the maganac. So I’m pretty sure that a suit that’s as popular as the tallgeese that it will happen. There’s also room to milk the mold and Bandai loves to do that whenever they can. They did quite a few variations of the Leo and an insane amount of maganac variations about 40 of them. So if all they gotta do is change the head on the first 2 types I can’t see them passing up the chance.

I’m not sure if I should get that or wait for a hg kit. The recent hg kits have been nice. I guess I’m torn between the detail as a compromise to the accuracy of the tv version. The Leo was fun and I think hg of the tallgeese would be good as well.

I think that garage kit needs a sandwich or two. But I do agree on the legs. Looking at the design of the hg I think the could get away wit changing just the sidings and maybe the front piece of the lower legs. And to be honest I expect that to happen as either a web exclusive or build fighter or something similar. I would also expect a garage kit company would do a simple conversion Incase that doesn’t happen.

Sorry I miss spoke. This hg kit would be the second redesign, or third design overall. The sd versions of Hathaway’s flash had a redesign that the sd versions were based on. This one is closer to the sd redesign but with some similarities to the original and a bit of the recent Gustav Karl mixed in. I haven’t seen the full mobile suit redesign for the anime, but I’m guessing this hg will be what’s animated. I’m hoping they do a version in the near future with the sd style legs though, even if it’s a web exclusive.

I didn’t know there were books, but I love the show and can’t wait for the new season or cartoon

Honestly, I don’t know if they messed up the messer legs at all. The preview I saw only shows the upper body. They’re probably a redesign for the anime. It’s kind of between the original design and the updated design. So I guess this would be a third redesign. Although I do prefer the wider legs on the second version. Who knows it wouldn’t take much for Bandai to milk this and give the other version as a web exclusive. As far as the wodom, I’ll wait for the turn A version. Seriously never thought that that design would ever get made into a non resin kit. I’m not even sure if there was a resin kit.

I don’t really care if the armor looks different, it’s the uselessness of it that needs to change. They may as well gave up on wearing it.

There’s a lot of kits from Bandai coming and I’m gonna be so far behind. But the deluxe version is a must have

I felt that way about the first few episodes as well. Hopefully armor is useful in season 2 instead of just cheap aluminum foil. And hopefully the flashbacks are gone or at least better explained.

Its been a while since I’ve posted anything since I don’t really have a good work space currently. But I was really curious about the upcoming 1/35 Obsolete kits coming in I think may. So I bought the basic frame kit with the February hobby Japan issue to see what the base kit is like. It’s very small, but has a large range of motion for its size. There are some missing details probably due to the fact that it’s supposed to be a base kit with armor added over it. The pilot has some odd seam lines on her back, but I don’t think that will be a problem.
-
Really nice work there. I built one a while back straight out of box and thought about modding the hips. But trying to fit and line up parts and remove seam lines was so frustrating. I’m really glad to see someone turn it into a real display piece.

It’s the same sort of issue I have with Wakanda. All that tech like space ships and beam weapons and tanks and whatever else you could imagine. But they still choose to fight riding animals and throwing spears. I guess you have to sometimes ignore logic and just check your brain at the door and have fun. There are many other examples of this to varying degrees all over sci-fi

For anyone worried about lacquer painting, test it first on the runner and make sure you have protection. A breathing mask with filters and a simple set of goggles don’t cost that much. And if you’re inside there are some cheap paint booths with lighting and simple filtration set ups. The only issue for me is the paint cost is a bit higher than other alternatives. But they go on so smooth and dry really fast and are really tough. I’ve used acrylic and enamel paints in the past and really only use them now for small details. But I’ve actually been hearing about some people brush painting the small details with lacquers using a retarder to allow for self leveling. There are so many tricks I wanna try when I get my painting space in the garage set up.

Wow the cg looks like crap! What the hell were they thinking. It looks like old video game cutscenes. It’s a shame they didn’t use the animation style from the old series.

Lost in Space series a Netflix adventure?

I like the show a lot. There are problems but they’re not the worst. I do hope season 3 can just skip flashbacks though. And even though I doubt it will happen, they need to either stop trusting smith or give her character a new direction. And did all the sick people in stasis die? -

I guess I can’t fault them for being comic accurate with the boots on Catwoman. It still looks weird, but my daughter reminded me that a few years back she couldn’t find pants that had real pockets. They would have an odd fake stitch mark that looked like they almost had a pocket. I guess her boots just have a fake buckle that does nothing. Maybe Jim Lee was just making an unspoken joke about women’s fashion.

Sorry Bolt, but we can’t have baby Maul since his junk fell down a shaft without him back in the prequel trilogy.

I’m kinda confused by the buckle on the cat woman boots. They don’t look like they’re attached to straps or anything. They just look like they’re glued on to the boot for decoration. Maybe there’s a better close up that shows a strap or something.

I think it will be great. Have they come up with a release schedule yet for these offenders shows? I’m also interested in the Howard the Duck show that’s part of that universe. I’m also curious how hardcore the jokes can be since they will be on Hulu, but still under Disney.

The Southern Cross action figure line is gonna be great. The only thing I’m worried about is hip movement. Recent gelgoog kits from Bandai have some interesting solutions to odd waist armor, so I’m wondering if they could take hints from that. The prototype pics so far just look solid at the hip armor even though it appears to be jointed underneath. If they could get that sorted a hover bike would be a cool accessory or at least separate buy.

A lot of things are being considered anime these days that aren’t from Japan. I don’t know if it’s confusion or people being lazy or if it’s just a new age.
