White and yellow pants have always been issues for me. A bit of retarder and making sure not to stop the airflow between parts helps a bit.

Justice League, available now & Snyder Cut on HBO Max in 2021

It was a bit too long, and kinda had that slow down thing too much that really didn’t help. I also feel like it spent too much time on it’s side quests. Overall it’s nowhere near as bad as the original and the battle scenes are definitely less boring. Overall I think I liked it , but will probably never watch it again. The comments about how this would never have been the real cut seem very true. It’s way too long and the Cyborg stuff feels more like an add on. The fish face guy thing was kinda pointless. But the newer look of the villains really helped. Overall the dcu only has one great movie so far and I don’t think Joker actually counts as part of that universe. -
It looks a lot like an R rated guardians of the galaxy. That’s not a bad thing though. The character attitudes and are very similar in this trailer. They have a really strong non human character, the guy that takes things too literally the kinda down the middle serious yet kinda goofy lead, and the serious character that complains about how everyone is gonna get em killed, and the female character that thinks everything is funny and makes jokes that are funny because they’re not. There was even a furry character for a moment. I do have more faith in this film though than the majority of the let down dcu films. This might be the first really great one. There’s been a lot of just bad movies, a couple ok ones and a couple good, but not great ones. But this is looking good so far

I still wouldn’t be surprised if these are less in cost for a base kit without extras. A pre loaded one with a weapon pack and some options might be a bit higher, but with how thin some of those base kits are, they would probably be fairly cheap. I still don’t know their final plan for these at this point, but 30 minutes missions weren’t meant to be a very costly line.

Unfortunately rebooting anime today would take out all the charm of the original series. The 80’s pop rock soundtrack, the hand drawn action and the odd cheesy stupid yet somehow great moments would all be replaced with dull modern anime character designs cg robot battles and forgettable music. Mid 90’s might have been a better time to do a reboot, but modern anime is so washed out and dull, with very few exceptions. Also with this not being the most loved series over there, it probably would get a rough treatment

I still have a hard time trying to think of archer without her. The show works so well because he’s an adult that completely relies on his mom. Even the rest of the cast has to rely on either her connections, her money and other times on her character to just survive another insane day
-
The 30 minute missions kits are closer to an $8 range and are pretty solid. I haven’t seen an actual price on these, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they were not very much more than the mecha.

With the price of those films on premium, you may as well just buy the blu ray. I don’t think it will be free until sometime closer to Christmas on Disney plus

Archer had finally moved out of those weird coma episodes. Just wondering how they will continue without such a major character. I can’t see them recasting such an iconic voice
-
I have a feeling that these will be relatively cheap in price. And that’s gonna be rough for the competition since it’s such a similar concept to the kotobukiya kits. And with these probably designed for 30 minutes missions will more than likely be compatible with gundam kits as well

July seems like a safe bet. The vaccine has been making the rounds, but here in California there are still some restrictions. May might be a bit soon and I figure that by June it should be much more readily available and the theaters may have less of a required restriction on seating.

Episode 1 is a thousand times better than Wanda Visions first few episodes. I’m still trying to forget the pain of those first few episodes. But this show is off to a good start. The action is filmed well even if those wing suits worked like magic, but overall it’s pretty good so far.- 1394 replies

Justice League, available now & Snyder Cut on HBO Max in 2021

I’m gonna save my criticism of this till after I watch it. It’s just that I hated the original and then rewatched it recently and maybe hated it more and now I’m having a hard time convincing myself to watch a 4 hour version of a movie that sucked in the hopes that it might be good. -
On the subject of Pet Shop Boys, I really like the cover that Ghost did of It’s a Sin. The old original version that Pet Shop Boys did of that song seems to have been popping back up lately, oddly enough.

Some of the details like the side of the leg and along the side of the shield as well as some on the skirts look more like a decal or sticker, but most areas appear to be separate parts

Better than it was is kinda like saying I’d rather eat a rotten grape than a fresh turd. A lot of the better reviews say it’s too long. I’m gonna watch it at home, so I’ll probably split it up into at two or three day thing -

I’m not really that impressed about the rereshoot for this, but it’s supposed to be free so I’ll give it my final judgment later. Hope it’s worth the hype -
I feel like the Nolan Batman was more like a realistic take on a completely unreal character. It even gave the character a real ending and one that really gave hope to the people of Gotham after all the horror they had gone through. Maybe in that sense he’s the most real Batman
-
The Nolan Batman movies were pretty good and I think could have been expanded even with bruce retiring. They did have a scene at the end where Robin found the Batcave. It may have been cool to just skip a potential Batman and Robin thing and just jump straight into Nightwing especially since Bruce didn’t seem up to the action required to continue as Batman and seemed happy finally moving on with his life.
