  1. Definitely has a very grimy look. I still like it
  2. He’s a bit too dorky. I guess this one’s more for the little kids. Also kinda weird to be going to the restroom and announcing loudly that he has to drop multiple deuces. I guess that will at least explain why he’s gonna be gone for a while. I’m probably more disappointed that this wasn’t the continuation of the 90’s Spidey that everyone had theories about returning after getting a glimpse of his return in X-Men 97
  3. More than likely, the new one. It probably won’t be too different other than the head from the trailers I’ve seen for the movie. We plan on watching it fairly soon, but haven’t had the time yet
  4. I don’t have the tools nor the skills for that. It looks absolutely awesome.
  5. Yeah, the last couple years, they’ve stepped up their booklets and it really helps with their color guides.
  6. I felt it had some really stupid moments. Oddly the comedy bits were spot on and I kinda feel that they should have played more into those moments a lot more and made this more of an action comedy. But it’s not the worst movie I’ve seen. I just think that every moment Bateman has the upper hand is an odd moment where he shouldn’t have. Like what if the guy just didn’t put in the earpiece. Or if he just dragged his lady to that security office before really knowing about the bomb or the sniper that wasn’t even ready with the rifle. It was such a paper thin plot that it even showed wrinkles in the actual movie itself. overall, if those things don’t bug you, you’ll be alright with this and if they do it will ruin the whole movie. If you can shut off your brain, then get the popcorn ready, cause you’re in for a stupid ride
  7. Did you say ”I’ll Buy That For A Dollar” and then add it to cart
  8. to me, the Hasegawa looks closer to the size in the faceplate than the moscato. Form these pics the moscato looks more elongated at the top than in the line art, while the Hasegawa looks a hair short. But I think if it bugs anyone, a simple bit of styrene sheet would elongate it that extra hair. Maybe just a trimmed bread clip in the back. The feet on the hasegawa definitely look more like the line art though. As far as the gunpods on the arms, the extra detail is kinda funky on the Hasegawa and totally pointless. Its not like they were gonna put an additional adjustable sniper scope on top. But that looks like a thin rectangular piece that could either be smoothed or replaced with some styrene sheet or possibly even just flipped around, although I’m sure there’s stuff on the other side needing to be smoothed. Beyond that, I think both versions are great looking and both versions have a bit of give and take with accuracy and both do some different things with added details. I think anyone that can afford the Moscato version and owns it should be very happy with it and anyone like me that can’t, the Hasegawa kit looks really great as well my only major complaint is the lack of articulation in the arms on the hasegawa version, and that might be an easier fix than I think depending on how big those ball pieces are in handI may still have a pack of white revoltech joints in various sizes that could work
  9. Yeah, but even the majority of Bandai kits have seams on them that need filling.
  10. They’ve been getting closer to snap builds for a bit now, I think just trying to appeal to the modern builder. You could snap up the regult, although I’d still recommend gluing most of the parts. I don’t think it’s as much to do with Bandai, just more to catch up to everyone else. as far as Bandai’s master grade, unfortunately that would be the 1/72 transforming kit. It’s got the inner frame and all kinds of gimmicks and unfortunately ends up a floppy mess. Too bad that company doesn’t even do master grade gundams anymore. Master grade seems to be on a break at this time. And it’s not just Bandai with an increased interest in Macross, but just about every major player recently. Max Factory is pumping out a lot of stuff, Bandai is doing toys and hg 1/100 kits wave is doing 1/72 as well as 1/100 kits. And Hasegawais doing some oddball items I wouldn’t have expected them to try. It’s a good time to be a fan Great diorama. Definitely well painted. I can guarantee you that it’s gonna be significantly taller than the hasegawa kit coming up, but I still would like to see em side by side.
  11. That’s definitely the first time I’ve heard that. Then again, I’m sure there’s people out there that would prefer Mellisa McCarthy now to Jenny McCarthy in her prime
  12. Turned out pretty great
  13. Even Rey seems surprised that it could fly. And didn’t look particularly easy
  14. Honestly, I was pretty young when I first saw it and flying boxy things were on every show back in the early 80’s so it’s not something I thought about until many years later. Al least it looks more air worthy than the flag designs from Gundam OO
  15. I think it will look great with all the panel lining and some cool weathering.
  16. The regult seems fine to me. Some of the artwork is at odd angles and may give a sense that it’s supposed to be thicker and the animation is all over the place As far as the line art on the Glaug, it’s also a bit of an odd angle making the front a bit odd as though it’s turning in place and again, the animation is a bit odd sometimes as well
  17. I was a bit on the quick side with the preorder. I didn’t even read the description. I wasn’t really surprised that there’s no Kamjin figure although it would have been cool. But I am disappointed by the fixed arm jointsI thought the picture was showing articulation, but instead it’s two swap out parts that’r either straight or bent. Hopefully there’s at least rotation. I may try and get some round style joints to replace these
  18. Seems to be between $31 and $36 depending on where you buy it from, not bad for that big beautiful bastard
  19. Glaug is up for preorder at the usual spots. Just put in my order. Merrymacrossmas to me
  20. I don’t think it’s as much fusing it as just kinda slapping a few old ship designs onto a much bigger ship. But if it works , then a shortcut is sometimes the best solution to having a new design
  21. Found some more pics
  22. It looks great, can’t wait to get it. I need this to command my regults
  23. Yeah, most of the big screens were those projection tv sets. Those had so many problems like screen burn and they didn’t like basic household cleaning items. I remember my aunt melted a corner of theirs and my uncle didn’t let go of that one for a decade or so.
  24. Not many. They’ve had a Kraken, stolen somewhat sinking ships , peg legs, talking birds, yar!!, treasure rooms, dead captains and the show even started out with a walking the plank off screen kinda thing. he definitely works pretty good here, although my favorite is Definitely the guy on the right, Nick Frost.
  25. I’m the other way around. Fantastic Four is kinda a big title that really needs a good movie. And honestly, they haven’t really announced anything else that’s super exciting to me other than maybe X-Men and I’m just hoping they don’t screw these up, especially since they seem key for the future of the mcu. I don’t actually have much hope at all for the new Captain America thing. Even Harrison Ford doesn’t sound all that pleased with the experience. But I do want the MCU to get back on track and just do better. Although they’ve been letting me down a lot m, kinda like with Star Wars and maybe they’re gonna start realizing that bomb after bomb doesn’t make their audience or subscribers happy, maybe there’s a chance we could end up eventually having a good MCU and DCU in the future.
