    I was just thinking, I only know they were called bioroid terminators in Robotech, but I don’t think I ever knew what if anything they were called in Southern Cross

    That’s how you know it’s a classic metal band. When they’re too poor to buy a sandwich and the desperation leads to creating epic sounds because the struggle was real for them. Fame never really hit some bands the way it did for others, but that doesn’t mean they weren’t great

    My bioroid terminator had the G.I. Joe problem and lost his thumbs. It was actually a really cool figure for the time and I was really surprised it got made at all. Hopefully one of the newer companies like the one doing the Dana with removable armor decides to do a nice updated figure

    1/43 was an odd choice, but I think this one is a standard train scale. Probably to match real city scenery.

    The OVA is a retelling of the story. Kinda like DYRL for Macross or the movie version of Escaflowne. I actually really love the OVA versions of all the mecha. Some things story wise are changed as well. I think there was a fan subtitle on YouTube for the series and OVA

    Breaking the propellers off an airplane is usually good enough. Knocking out the pilot afterwards so he can ride it to his death is just plain murder or plane murder depending on how you want to word it

    I feel like there is more info and pics for the Japanese versions, so I preordered those. They may cost more with shipping, but I’ll feel safer about the accessories.

    After the talk of how most movie sites are calling The Suicide Squad a financial failure, I’m becoming increasingly worried about the prospect of sequels for this film. I hope this one is a good version of the story and if so really hope it does well, but the free option seems to be hurting the wb movies.

    The movements reminded me a lot of those really old Superman cartoons, but with an updated look

    That seemed to be just about every characters reaction as well. I thought it was great and had the perfect amount of lack of explanation to make it its own character.

    If I remember right they had to have special training to even be able to break through the shields. I remember it being like they almost had to meditate or something along those lines.

    I like the Metallica version a lot, but I also really love the old Diamond Head version from Lightning to the Nations, not as much on the follow up album or later rerecordings

    As far as other heroes in the dcu, Superman probably didn’t know about the project because it’s an old one and in a place that still has asbestos and lead paint and he’s in the hospital now. Wonder Woman usually ignores things till they’re convenient for her. Shazam was probably still in school. Green Lantern was cancelled by Ryan Reynolds and the new version wasn’t ready when this movie got green lit. Martian Manhunter was man hunting at the bar. The flash might have made it there, but got taken over due to him being easily confused. Batman was busy in Gotham, and he doesn’t do daytime easily and probably didn’t hear the news in time. And Aquaman was useless since it was a land based issue. I’m probably forgetting someone, but who really cares

    I’ll have to check, but I don’t remember the American ones haven’t my attachments for the standard laser pistol. There seems to be a stock and long barrel attachment in the new pictures

    Sneaky king Shark was great. I definitely agree with you. Hands down best of the dc franchise. Also my favorite movie this year and has a high rewatch value. It also fun to see nods to classic movies like star wars and ghostbusters.

    I don’t hate last Jedi, but it’s hard to defend. I found that the characters were far more likable than the prequel characters. But the movie was mostly stupid and overloaded with great ideas that never went anywhere and got in the way of other ideas. The prequels had horrible acting and the green screen thing made it look like space jam in reverse. Like there were live action people trapped in a cartoon. I also am one of the only ones that seems to dislike rogue one. I liked the robot, but I hated everyone else. It did look pretty though. Solo would have been alright if it wasn’t involving existing characters, maybe it would’ve been really good.

    I was looking at the Japanese versions of the b25’s and they showed more hand types than the American pictures showed. It looks like grip hands open hands and closed fists

    This movie was glorious. Just saw it last night and absolutely loved it. It’s hands down without even a close second, the absolute best film in the current dc franchise. It’s about time they had a great movie. It may be one of my all time favorite comic book movies, although it’s hard to top Scott Pilgrim
