  1. The Eddie Murphy movie was an ok kids film, but it wasn’t very entertaining for me.
  2. Yeah, his upper body is massive, he probably can’t even see his feet
  3. That’s a tough one. I’m torn between classics like Die Hard, the first Indy and og Ghostbusters or a couple of newer ones like The Suicide Squad or Scott Pilgrim. I’d probably be so bored if I could only pick one movie for the rest of my life. At least I can listen to music and watch whatever tv shows. It’s too bad it’s not by franchise, because I’d probably roll with the mcu since there’s such a large amount of films there and not a lot of part three fizzle. I guess if there can be only one, I might just go with Scott Pilgrim just because it has humor and romance and crazy imagination and a great use of sound. It may also be the most faithful comic book movie ever and it’s easy to watch more than once, but it is a tough decision
  4. Oz wasn’t for me either. I’ve never been too interested in prison stories and then add booty rape, I’m out
  5. I don’t try to compre the reboot since other than name and the fact that the main character was a cop, they’re almost completely different. I think Keaton made for a great modern bad guy. He’s that rich guy that tries to stay up to date, but doesn’t understand that he’s the bad guy. The old version everyone knew who was good and who was bad and just didn’t care. Human lives were so meaningless that if the bad guy had to accomplish something, it didn’t matter who died to get what they needed. And the good guys seemed only slightly better. If they were bad they got killed even if they really couldn’t put up a fight against Robocop, he still put a few bullets in them and rarely arrested anyone. I do prefer the original and think it’s an awkwardly perfect movie that shouldn’t have been rebooted at all, but it was. To me the reboot works if you disconnect your ideas of the original and think of it as it’s own thing. The reboot had some really great ideas and concepts, but it’s definitely not what people wanted
  6. Yeah, I remember watching the old clash of the titans and there’s a bit of bloody combat and a surprising amount of nudity in a pg film. Those standards should probably be updated, but there’s a part of me that loves seeing such soft ratings marked on them. 80’s through the 90’s were really harsh on films, but a lot of R rated films today would have probably gotten an X rating a couple decades ago. Robocop almost had the X for a few seconds of extra gore oddly enough
  7. It may have just been odd coloring on the videos I watched, but I remember it being a forest green rather than a drab green, but I’m getting old and I don’t trust my memory as much as used to
  8. I think you should still use it as the poster. It’s like it is totally inviting challengers.
  9. I have the orange cat version that I bought from showz and it looks impressive and I’m glad it’s getting released to a wider group. I saw some pictures of the tekkaman evil and I’m hoping for more in the line, but it’s a bit rare for anyone to do more than those two
  10. I also liked the second season. I didn’t hate the first, but it was frustratingly dragged out. The second was going in a good direction at the end and I was actually really looking forward to a third season
  11. I think it’s more of an overseas thing. Here in the U.S. the bad guys sell pretty well from the ones above to G.I. Joe and He Man to comic characters. Maybe this deal with harmony gold is for the best. Someday down the line the better Japanese companies may see the demand for the baddies and may put out some decent stuff. Or maybe a miracle will happen and the Americans will put out a great release for once. They do seem to be getting a bit better over the years
  12. Well, that’s a way to make a statement! It’s gonna be a tough one for anyone to beat that
  13. Saw The Protege over the weekend. It’s not a bad movie, but maybe more of a free watch. Michael Keaton was definitely the best part of the film and it would have been totally boring without him. I honestly couldn’t wait for more scenes involving his character.
  14. I like the fact that he was surprised by molding technology that has been used by Bandai for what feels like over 20 years. I remember being impressed back in the 90’s with the Eva kits as far as the arms being molded with working joints under rubber coating or the old school pg fingers
  15. After the third season, there’s not gonna be much star wars for me to look forward to. I’m still not sold on the mid life crisis obi show, boba may only be a single season and I’m not a big fan of the chauffeur for K2S0
  16. If it’s an English sub it’s gotta have Wensleydale for the cheese
  17. I think that’s still his voice in the upcoming Dug shorts. It’s always strange to hear someone’s voice on an upcoming project after they passed
  18. I would imagine that bbts probably gets them of a ship from overseas. That would probably add a delay for it to get to you. Depending on the traffic and other weather and shipping problems, it isn’t unreasonable to think it may take a couple months more or less
  19. I just got mine in the mail and it has the face defect. It’s really hard to spot if you don’t know what to look for and it helps to put a piece of white paper behind the part to spot it. I’ll have to hope good smile will be good and send me the part and then I can smile.
  20. That shine reminds me of those old tooth brush commercials. It’s definitely looking great
