He was a great actor in both big and small roles and in those smaller roles he could easily steal the show

The cool thing about getting multiples is that they gave enough marking decals for an army

Well, it’s about time. I really like this show and I’m curious how that cliffhanger is gonna work out

I think I find your kit on a YouTube channel with the lights and it looked cool. Also liked the magnet gimmick. I’m pretty sure it’s this kit due to the color and weathering patterns

I thought they were built in automated factories, but maybe those factories and designs were made by slave labor. Either way, nice build and would look great on display on it’s own or with other kits

Nice job rescuing that canopy. Mad far as the drill bit, I was using a small pin vice drill with a drill bit that was smaller than the sensor size. I don’t know the exact size, I just went with something smaller because I knew since there were no markings on the back side I had to try to keep even while drilling the rounded dome. I panel lined the outside edge so I would be sure not to go to to far to the sides. After drilling the holes I used a medium needle file to adjust the size and centering. Just make sure not to move too fast so a bit of plastic will be left to hold the clear pieces in place. As long as you do that , you can just put the sensor in to the spot and oddly enough they kinda stay in place on their own until you can put some clear glue on. I held the part upside down and used a bit of thin cement around the edges on the under side of the armor and lightly pressed pressed with the backing of sone tweezers for a couple seconds to set them in place. I don’t mind anyone using my ideas if it helps them and honestly these sensors didn’t take much work to set in. I know some builders really like led lighting and for those, there is actually a lot of space to do that with. Even the leg sensors could probably be lit up as well. I just used a bit of alclad on the backs for a bit of shine on mine though

That’s definitely a cool paint job and well executed effect

So one thing I ran into while glueing the legs along the seam was that you need to be careful not to put too much pressure in the center. Those legs aren’t like Bandai Gundam kits with supports and inner frames to hold things up. While squeezing the joints together it can cause the outer edge when the seam line is to open up instead of close. So I would suggest pinching closer to the edges while being careful not to touch the glue

Could always use some space stuff

Super Dimension Convention - 2022
Big s replied to ominous's topic in Conventions and Local Gatherings
I’ve been kinda wondering the same. Some conventions like anime and comic ones are coming back, some with special requirements like vaccination status or masks or lees than normal occupancy. Last week I took my daughter to our first concert since the shut downs to see Volbeat and Ghost in Anaheim. They required a vaccine card or negative test and the seating was set up to where there was an empty seat next to each group. That place was packed other than the required empty seats and oddly enough no distancing with the GA floor area, probably because they wouldn’t have been able to enforce it. I know rules are different depending on the counties and they do seem to go back and forth depending on the situation. I’m not sure if any thought to guests or anything at these kinds of events. I know at the concert they did have signings for fans and I think some of the upcoming comic conventions are planning those as well. -
That’s totally cheating using an image character that got retconned into dc. I wouldn’t mind if McFarlane did some updated toys for classic image characters. Wildcats and Youngblood or a deluxe Maxx or Pitt.

That one is really nice. It’s blended so well between the 2 designs yet definitely lends more to fss.
-
Honestly my favorites are The Boys, Invincible and Umbrella Academy and none of those fit into marvel or dc. I may be wrong about Umbrella Academy, never read or heard of the comic before the show.

The last couple episodes were just a lot of wtf all over the place. I mean, there’s how many things going crazy can they add and how many things can just go wrong or right or I don’t even know. If it wasn’t so entertaining I would have checked out a long time ago. This show somehow seems to have jumped the shark and doubled back to jump multiple sharks at the same time. honestly when I first saw this show I thought it would just be a more simple conflict between the androids and the newcomer religious fanatics. I sure was wrong.

That scale comparison really puts things into perspective. I always thought the lancers were a lot bigger than that.

Yay! Can’t wait. The cartoon wasn’t as entertaining as I’d hoped

I’ve been keeping up with raised by wolves, and it does feel like there’s no real direction and things just happen that move things along kinda oddly. And gotta agree about that little girl robot. It’s still entertaining though

I’ve never been the type to add lights to a kit, but I do like seeing others do it
-
They probably just didn’t train him well enough to put the chest armor on in the correct direction, so let’s just hope he was at least trained well enough to use that space diaper

Gundam Show Thread - MSG thru Witch from Mercury
Big s replied to Black Valkyrie's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I think they just made the upper legs longer for this. They usually look a bit shorter in the upper legs and the missing hose covers on the face make it look thinner there as well. This poor Zaku needs a sandwich and some new clothes- 3575 replies

That’s the ad I saw earlier this morning. So I don’t know if it will be the patched up one or a standard one or if it will have optional parts.- 3575 replies

The more I see of this the more I worry. Hopefully the stupid steampunk vespa gang won’t make a cameo. I’ll still check it out hoping for more good than bad, but Star Wars is really bad at establied character stories
