    Kinda late to the conversation, had power and internet issues this past week due to high winds and fire safety for the region. But was finally able to watch the newest episode. I’d been avoiding anything talking about the show as well due to spoilers and such. not a bad episode, definitely had some fun moments. Although I think after catching up on this thread that I gotta agree I still think SM33 is the best character on the show. And I see a few here are predicting that Joe is gonna have either a death or some kind of beat down coming his way in the next episode. I’m throwing my prediction that he’s gonna have some kind of redemption possibly saving the planet somehow from pirate invasion and might actually get away with a pocket full of credits. one more to go and maybe we’ll finally get to see the supervisor

    They’ll blow their budget on Grand Moff Tarkin though. All joking aside, Baylan wasn’t a very memorable character anyway. Sure he might’ve been better than most in Ahsoka, but it’s probably more to do with the show being crap. Kinda like with Smilo Ren in the Acolyte. He had the best scenes in an otherwise crappy show that even if his scenes were stupid, they felt like something more epic than they actually were.

    I gotta agree. The main story was very lacking in just about every way. It made the side quest of Sabine’s girlfriend with the Prince Adam hair and her trainer seem far more interesting than it probably is.

    Arii never really was great at proportions. But they sometimes were the only producer of certain subjects. Maybe with the growing availability of Macross media and kits and toys, there will be a bigger interest in newer versions of some of these ships.

    Finally got power back today and internet is coming in much better. It’s great to see those little space savers on Hulu and really gonna celebrate the addition of Macross content.

    That stuff doesn’t bug me too much, although I do think it’s way overused and distracting from the story, if there really is a story. My problem is that everyone hates everyone and almost no one seems to be on the same page. It’s kinda like adding action and sex to a reality show. It also had too many focuses and not a real main character from what I saw.

    I’m one in the minority that never liked the show. But my lady loves all the backstabbery. I do however have to say that some characters are very likable, even though the show wasn’t for me and the Hound was one of those. I just didn’t care for it since it felt like a more pervy version of a real housewives show set In a medieval era.

    Was able to get those pics for the purple guy. Definitely some interesting weapons that usually get over looked. I couldn’t find any rear pictures to totally identify the backpack and I don’t know if there are any other included options

    Thanks, but we’re not in any immediate danger up here. Just that the electric company isn’t taking any risks with what’s happening in other areas and these mountains can’t go up in flames pretty quickly. We’re just going in the dark right now with no power and bad internet connection. Hopefully you all will be ok. I know that when we had the fires encroaching from the arrowhead area a couple months ago that it can be very nerve wracking. Normally, I’d suggest an app like watch duty that shows the conditions of the wind and local fires, but without the internet it doesn’t load well. Don’t know, but with a name like “Toy Rise” I’m pretty sure they’re action figures. But I wouldn’t mind little model kits.

    Tag hobby showed off another one for the new line in purple. It’s kind of a basic one, but has a few weapon options. Hope the line does well. I couldn’t get back onto their site to copy the pictures since we have no power and the internet is pretty bad right now due to the wind and fire risk. I’ll try and add some if someone else doesn’t beat me to it

    Hlj has it at around $105 and hobbysearch has it for about $88, so there’s probably gonna be some variations on cost vs shipping. I’m sure other places will have other deals as well. Either way, not too bad for all that’s included in the box

    I saw that they’ve been teasing this the last couple days. I am curious about how much this version will differ from the later Scopedog releases from the actic gear line

    These all look great. I especially love that goofy lobster sandwich. It’s just a whole lobster, shell and all on a large roll with veggies and all the fixins. It even has mayo to help it go down

    Yuk! I’ve always hated that movie. It’s almost Sony Spider-Man side character bad, but with more goofy lights

    Most of their kits go together without glue, but they sometimes have a part that’s a little loose, so a dab here or there might help. You could probably build it and if something does feel loose, then just take a little drop of super glue on the back of the part and should be fine. And instructions are super easy.

    I looked back only one page and it seems there’s Shiver me Timbers and Popeye the Slayer Man already announced just a couple months ago. But I guess this one’s a first since the cast talks all britishy. The dude’s supposed to be all New England, not old England. they all look like 💩though. Popeye deserves better than this. Three cheap no budget horror movies with zero imagination. I still stand by one of my earlier statements about the subject and I think that everyone is trying to do horror, when a goofy hardcore comedy would be more fitting for a cheap subject

    Most of the moderoid stuff is pretty good so far. They like to pick a lot of different subjects and they turn out pretty great. I can’t wait to see their Mospeada kits that are coming up soon

    Here’s an out of box build I saw on google I haven’t built it yet, but I hear it’s pretty stable. the black stripes are pre painted

    I thought it was supposed to have been when he made up for murdering a bunch of sand people and a whole bunch of children by dropping one guy down a hole. But then again since that one guy survived, I guess he didn’t do anything to make up for any of that and really wasn’t redeemed after all
