Glad I skipped it. The pumpkin head visor thing has always bugged me on these and the helmet off face is just horrific. All that mixed with the raspberry sherbet color is just not worth it

It’s probably the other way around since they probably went back in time and altered the future which is now our past again

Definitely would want Joe, but I don’t know if there’s ever been a Berg Katse figure. It be fun for the team to have someone to kick around

These are just prototypes that are unpainted. They probably just molded those parts on the same runner as the clear parts and will be painted later. Then again who knows

I’m pretty sure they’ll milk this as much as possible and probably all the cool variants will be exclusives as well

Saw a few more demona figures in store today. Haven’t seen the others yet. I kinda thought she would be harder to find

I just got that email. At least the shipping won’t be so bad for anyone interested

Kids Logic Robotech MiniTech (Miniature Technique) Line
Big s replied to no3Ljm's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I don’t think the licensing is an issue here. These are under the Robotech brand and are using the designs that had already been used for Robotech. If I’m not mistaken dragon ball toys are licensed through Bandai and it’s affiliates and that’s probably where the problem came in on those. I can’t really speak on the Kickstarter side of things, but they may have a strategy to get their money back by hoping the customers will be interested in further minis. Most of these minis probably only really cost a few cents to make. Designing them probably costed more than the manufacturing though -
Just finished the two available episodes of Outer Range and so far I really like it. There seems to be some not so subtle hints as to what’s going on and what that whole is . Even the preview kinda gives it away. Lots of talk about time and hands of a clock kinda stuff. It’s definitely a bit weird and now I gotta wait till Friday unless I fall into some mystery hole that sets me in a time where I can just binge the show all at once

Marvel Studios TV Shows and Animation on Disney+
Big s replied to sh9000's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
My girlfriend almost had me watching it by myself as well. I still don’t know anybody other than my girlfriend and my daughter that have watched it. Every coworker I’ve talked to couldn’t even be bothered to get past the first episode even though I’ve tried to tell them it gets better after the third one.- 1394 replies

Marvel Studios TV Shows and Animation on Disney+
Big s replied to sh9000's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
My list would have Loki on the top, then Falcon, Hawkeye, what if then wandavision at the bottom. That doesn’t mean that I disliked any of the shows so far, it’s just that it was so hard to get into wandavision that we almost gave up on it and I still don’t think I’d ever rewatch it because of how bad those early episodes were. After this last episode of moon knight I’m not sure where it fits yet. The multiple personalities are starting to get a bit too gimmicky and a bit frustrating. He never explained what the problem was to anyone that mattered, this episode felt like it kinda was going nowhere. Hope the next episode gets things moving.- 1394 replies

Those bootlegs bring back memories I was kinda wondering about official releases in English since the movies are gonna be shown in the U.S.

Sorry I was a bit vague. I was heading out the door when I noticed those preorders. Unfortunately they didn’t have the big armed chad gundam that a few others wanted the last time, but I figured someone might have found something interesting there even though most aren’t really new.

That’s a pretty good one. My all time favorite was the Bobby and the devil guitar battle episode. I also really enjoyed the one with the modern fur trappers going through the high rise in a canoe
-
I think I’ll skip it. Sounds the same as the old one. If it didn’t use stickers I might have picked one up
-
There’s a few older exclusives going up for another round of preorders tonight on the U.S. site in case anyone is interested. Nothing too exciting though

If I didn’t know better, I’d have thought that was the prototype for the new line. Hope they take the hint

I was thinking of those as well, but not sure if they’re gonna be that ambitious. It’s definitely doable these days

Since the gimmick back in the day was vehicle related, I didn’t mind how they were jointed. I just curious if they’re gonna try for a bit more here in the modern age. The waist does seem easy enough, but maybe ball jointed hips and and shoulders with a bit more range kinda like G.I. Joe . I guess it’s a wait and see kinda thing

Are they going to have more joints on the figures. I remember them being very small and had fairly basic movement with 7 points of articulation. Just curious if they’re going for more

STAR WARS Merchandise Episode - 2
Big s replied to Black Valkyrie's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
A lot of companies would do colorful prototypes. I even saw some McFarlane ones a few years back. I guess it’s a way to show the parts a bit easier before the color prototype stage
