    That’s kinda what I was trying to suggest. With new original designs and a rebooted yet similar story, it may be worth a watch. If they keep clinging to the macross designs character wise and mecha it will just seem like a ripoff to most people. Not saying basing the designs and story isn’t a ripoff, but it would at least feel easier to stomach

    As far as the Doan’s island kits, the gundam doesn’t look much different from the origin version, minus a few option parts but including water slide decals. I’m on the fence over the Zaku though. The repair stuff is pretty good looking for this and included water slide decals are always a rarity with Bandai

    Honestly, I’d feel more comfortable if they did do a reboot with original designs and a similar story that wasn’t such a rehash. It would never be as great as Macross, but if they went that route I’d probably at least try watching it

    That Buzz looks way more bad ass than something from a Pixar film should be, especially from the toy story franchise. Now im wondering about a reimagined Woody or Mr potato head to go with it

    Watched the last couple episodes of Outer Range. It’s kinda slow, but keeps some suspense. And that one brother on the neighboring ranch really seems to like singing songs done by female singers.

    I wish I could help, but I feel like getting info in English on older resin kits is getting harder and harder to find. There used to be a few gundam forums that had gk info and active builders, but I don’t see those around anymore

    I barely had anywhere to put the hmr monster. 1/60 might be closer to half a sofa. My girlfriend would probably be mad that she’d be sitting on the floor while me and my Arcadia monster are relaxing watching a movie together. Then again she’d probably just kick me out and keep the monster

    I mentioned in the kit section that I really like these redesigns for guncannon and those gms as well. I hope for at least hg kits if not more cool merch. I like that the back packs on the guncannon are completely different for the types shown

    The non snyderverse dc movies seem far better than the other movies connected to it. Although I do still think the Suicide Squad was great and probably the only great one in that universe.

    Not to sound insulting to the model, but I was more impressed with the cheeseburger possibly because I skipped lunch. Next time try to do some onions. I think I’m gonna have an early dinner and good luck with the ship

    I think he’s just worried that he may have said some things that may come off as being offensive. Sometimes when we make comments we say things that may not seem that bad at the time and upon rereading or someone pointing things out we realize that maybe it could be. Not gonna lie, I’ve been there and maybe I should take a few things I’ve said back, but I’m a bit on the lazy side and don’t. We all get a bit passionate and sometimes overly passionate about the things that interest us We are all friends here, but the rules of the forum are a bit different than the rules at a bar. For his real reason, you’re gonna have to ask him personally

    It really is an ugly toy. That being said, I would love to see someone repaint and customize it to look good. I honestly haven’t seen too many toys at that price with such a horrible look.

    I have a feeling that the basic guncannon would be standard and since the backpack is totally different the missile variant would be exclusive. Hopefully at least one of the gms will be standard, they look very similar to the origin gundam and I think that’s where most of the parts are coming from both in hg and if they do an mg. As far as mg origin kits, I think they only did the gundam so far. Might be nice to see something else, but more than likely hg kits

    I’ll probably sound like a broken record, but if I have to pay that much for a toy, I really don’t want to put in all the work of modifying it. And this particular release would require modifications for the helmet, face and repainting. It’s just not worth it for me. I’ll wait and see if they make her for those little beaver ones, but so far it doesn’t seem like it

    Glad I skipped it. The pumpkin head visor thing has always bugged me on these and the helmet off face is just horrific. All that mixed with the raspberry sherbet color is just not worth it

    These are just prototypes that are unpainted. They probably just molded those parts on the same runner as the clear parts and will be painted later. Then again who knows
