    This seems better than the basic scopedog , but it’s annoying that it has no fist hands for the punch or a cockpit with pilot. I already have the wave version, so it’s another skip for me. I’ll probably be more interested if the do non scopedog kits for the series, but so far it’s kinda a letdown line

    I don’t know about a death knell, but the Fire Valkyrie is kinda on fire lately. There’s this one in1/100 and a 1/72 one from Max Factory and I think there was a recent rerelease of the Arcadia one, I wouldn’t doubt Bandai will eventually get to it either as dx or the recently teased hmr. personally I like kits better and whatever happens, I just want a cool vf-11 either from plus or 7 or both and I feel this is a slight step closer

    Definitely Gordon. Alfred usually gets a butler black fancy look with a bit of a snobbish face. Gordon usually gets an average Joe suit, glasses and mustache.

    I’m guessing that the blaster version of Evil will be next. Maybe one day Dagger, but it’s probably gonna be another year or two.

    I think the Boxes are a big factor in collectors not caring anymore for Hasbro. Not a big sports fan, but that’s really a lot of unwanted stuff there

    I have no doubt it’s gonna happen. All they have to do is include a different pilot figure and recolor the plastic. I think it includes decals that can be used for Max as well, that’s why I think some people will just jump the gun and recolor the red. They’d really only have to slightly modify the pilot. But I’m wondering if something more exciting might be included in the Max version, like standing figures

    What are you planning to do with the second Queadluun Rau? I know a lot of people will probably do a max recolor, but I’d love to see someone do the purple cannon fodder colors scheme

    We watched it over the weekend and I felt the same although I finished it. It seemed more like a Netflix movie rather than a big budget film and although I got the jokes, they just weren’t very good jokes and it was a surprisingly slow movie. I’m definitely not the target audience for this one

    I think it’s an odd time when people are more excited about an older yet less than stellar anime compared to the stuff of today. M2 definitely wasn’t my favorite, but I’d easily watch it several times on blu ray

    I’d like to see them both built. From what I remember the club m version wasn’t as exaggerated as the Yamato toy. The figure looks pretty cool as well. I wish the Hasegawa kit had a great standing figure included

    At least there’s only 5 episodes. They seem to have a hard time writing these shows and even the best of the D+ shows have had useless filler. It’s a good move to just shorten it. I’ll probably watch it on Hulu since having to change settings sounds complicated

    It’s definitely small from what I remember. The Queadluun Rau kit actually stood a bit taller and much bulkier, but the pilots were about the same height. After seeing how great the Hasegawa kit looks, this prototype seems really lazy. It looks much closer to the funky Yamato version. If this were how the finished product looked I’d probably just skip it altogether

    I have that kit built and boxed away. It’s very small and probably only stands a little higher than the waist on an hmr from what I remember it would be way too easy for an hmr vf-1 to just punt the Zentraedi pilot that came with it rather than be able to share clothes.

    They still nuked several colonies. Even though Zeon was trying to hijac another colony, the feds didn’t exactly fire indiscriminately. The entire area was turned into a shoal zone. The eventual treaty was supposed to leave out colonies that weren’t aligned, but then on several occasions they got them involved in weapons development

    I want the Robocop, so I can practice on metallics. There’s this subtle hints of color like blues and purples giving the movi version that heated titanium look, but in a softer way. I’d like to see if I can do it in small scale without overdoing it’s a challenge to myself.

    Everything is still in the early stages, I just didn’t end up liking the outfit colors after that. Might change to green pants and or purple shirt. The eyes are pretty easy to do as well since the panel liner helps outline the area. Things look far rougher in the pictures due to magnification. She’s a 1/35 figure and will look a bit smoother as I go.
