  1. I get a feeling that it was more of a missile to the balls and just exploded it out. Lots of smoke and flames probably just made it hard to see the blood. Not to mention that the blood may have been a bit much for a model kit box. I think they got away with quite a bit there hoping no one would think about that dude’s lower body being in there. Kinda makes you wonder what Zentraedi did about extreme injuries. I know a few are shown with one eye and usually it has some kinda cybernetic looking replacement. Did they have a medical facility and doctors, or was there some kind of automated medical station? Or was it, you lost an arm, we’ll just recycle you?
  2. I guess, was struggling to think of anything the people from this show have done in the last decade other than commercials
  3. As Seto said, the arms are in the body area. But in dyrl, things were pretty gruesome, like one of the Nousjadeul Ger suits being torn in half and a head getting smooshed. Recently there’s the artwork for Max’s Queadluun Rau model kit where in the lower corner you can see one very unfortunate Nousjadeul Ger taking a catastrophic hit to his nethers sending his legs off into the void That leg might be orbiting earth for a few decades
  4. I get the feeling that someone ran out of ideas again, or just ran out of money again
  5. I mean, it would be great if it was included, but there always a way just in case when they leave out little extras
  6. Are they charging a massive up cost for a little cut on his arm and a sword?
  7. You know they’re desperate when they have to throw a fart joke in the trailer
  8. I’ve seen a lot of battroid pics and it tends to look a bit chunky in spots and the fighter kinda has the same issue, but i think you’re really on to something by leaving it in Gerwalk.
  9. A tent probably wouldn’t be too hard to make. Just some paper and wires and it could be finished in no time. Just use some water to give the paper a proper wrinkled look and once it’s dry mist in the colors with an airbrush
  10. I really don’t remember the matchbox one too well, but at least they put the elbow covers on in a way to actually cover the elbows
  11. Yeah, they had to make em small to fit their toy
  12. Hopefully they don’t just do a cg heavy version.
  13. Is that a remake or a sequel?
  14. Mine just had capybaras chillin and groovin
  15. Yeah, she made some odd decisions career wise. She’s done some lesser than may stuff, but nothing that really stood out, now she’s on to b movies and probably will soon be forgotten
  16. BBTS is usually pretty good at coming through with things. Since it’s a Japan only item, they probably did what they do for Bandai web exclusives and have a purchaser that gets them and then ships them most likely by slow boat
  17. Here’s a basic line art picas shown here the chest on the hasegawa is way oversized and hands and feet are way too small the Plamax is much closer to the artwork here
  18. Sorry to hear that
  19. Yeah, the first movie really wasn’t very good, even though it might be the best of the genre. The whole problem is this kid that they need to save that’s Diabetic and they’re trying to get him to a bunker that can only take a bare minimum of people. And then they have to get his insulin and only get enough for a few months, but they’ll have to be locked underground for a few years or maybe more. They’re basically trying to save their own kid that would die anyway and take space away for a different family. Not sure if the sequel ever solves the insulin issue
  20. It looks so sexy, I didn’t realize it was a MR.
  21. I don’t know…..and below is the Plamaxthe chest on the hasegawa is stupid big, the feet and hands ridiculously small , the hasegawa just looks way off in comparison to the Plamax. Plus the Plamax has the better articulation on top of all the looks. And the swimsuit beauty as a bonus cherry on top. It’s easily worth the extra money
  22. Yeah but a lot more articulation and ten times better looking totally makes it worth it. It’s like the comparison of hot garbage at a cheap price and a quality item for only a bit more
  23. So sometimes I go back and try watching some of my cartoon favorites from when I was a kid, usually ending up mildly entertained and more often than not let down just a bit. He Man was a bit of a let down while Dungeons And Dragonns was just as good as I remember. But got a bit of a day off due to weather and so I gave a show that I hadn’t really thought much about at try since it was on Amazon without the commercials and was actually really surprised by how good the first episode was compared to my memory of the show. Anyway the show I tried watching and expected to be disappointed by was ALF the animated series. Not the live action or Alf tales. This was an 80’s American cartoon, but dispite that, this was a very high quality for a goofy spin off of a live action sitcom. The humor is still a bit tame, but wasn’t expecting a hardcore thing since it was an 80’s kids show, but I did get some chuckles out of it. But the real treat here was the animation quality, it’s a weird sci fi style with pointlessly stupid silly mechanical designs, but that gets a pass since it’s a kids comedy show. But this is a DIC production that seems to have had a Japanese studio working with them and this first episode was actually really cool. Lots of crazy angles and odd action that almost reminds me of classic Dragon Ball. The story is flimsy, but forgivable for the same reasons as the designs. anyway, I actually hope this cartoon gets a remaster one day to fix the graininess of what they have available on Amazon and I will definitely check out more episodes to see if they hold up to the chaotic and surprisingly Awsomely silly action scenes of the first episode. And just super surprised because I don’t remember the show being anywhere near how fun this rewatch was.
