    They seem to be basically like the Star Wars vintage line as far as articulation. Just that for such a mass produced tiny figure, they should be only ten bucks unless they’re loaded with accessories

    They’re usually easy to find, especially since they rerelease the quite often. I think Char has had three different packages and those have also been released, so almost nine opportunities for the same dude. Then there’s also char in a normal suit, so that’s another few opportunities for a char figure. These were fairly new though and I guarantee they won’t be too hard to get. personally I’m waiting for Bright to slap Amuro and maybe Kai, and Kycilia so that Char in the normal suit can remove her head with that mini Dom bazooka

    I’m not blaming hlj at all. They’re told they will get a certain amount of kits, but often Bandai doesn’t quite come through. So Hlj does put their customers ahead of the question on the soonest restock

    I agree for the most part. Really expected more and didn’t even realize that this was the last episode. I was kinda ok with the show until I heard that.

    The new deals with hg came up a while after the Bandai 1/72 kit and most of the og Macross toys get a Japan only label, but the toys are at least available at other sites

    That was the finale????!!!!! I thought there was gonna be at least another episode or two. That is crappy if it was the finale.

    I think unfortunately the rest of the world tends to be put into that rule. From my understanding they have a pretty tough time getting these items as well and are also getting mainly Robotech labeled items. There’s been plenty of people complaining about not getting their preorders fulfilled until later batches. I haven’t had that problem until recently trying to get the Gallus-J from ZZ Gundam. Although only a few months after the initial release they did get another batch and it’s now sitting in my private warehouse. I’m hoping that if the do stuff for og Macross that they will honor preorders quickly when there’s not enough stock. And I hope they at least pump out enough for everyone to get them not too far after initial release

    I think that it’s one of those shows that’s kinda down the middle where it’s not good enough to be great and not bad enough to be infuriating and is just kinda there. There’s also the fact that it’s intended to be a comedy, so you kinda forgive stupid things in the show, if it were a supposedly serious show like Alien Earth, then you’d have loud voices trashing every mistake or cringy scene, while this show has some stupid scenes and dumb characters, it’s a comedy so nobody is taking it serious enough for loud voices.

    Other companies can, but Bandai models can’t because while other sites carry Bandai kits, there’s an agreement that they can’t ship them to the states. It’s supposedly that American stores can compete with Japanese sites. Hlj seems to be an exception since they were designed as an English site in Japan. Toys and things are under a different rule, but Bandai models like Gundam, Votoms and Macross kits go under the rule that Japanese sites can’t supply to the states. Macross kinda gets stuck in a mess where there’s the extra harmony gold problem on top of all that for the og series, hopefully that doesn’t cause problems with the movie designs, but who knows. Anyway, I noticed you mentioned hobbysearch. If you even try looking up Gundam kits or really any other Bandai models on their site, they don’t list them anymore. You have to change the URL to Japan and then they become visible. You can however find Bandai toys easily like sh figuarts or dx toys from Macross and even the hmr stuff, but the model kits don’t appear without that change to the URL

    I have a feeling that they may hold back on the VF-1 since currently only hlj can sell it over here to the U.S. I have a feeling that they will eventually do it through. I really want an 11 and 0, but wouldn’t mind some non VF stuff like the power armor from Macross Plus or even a red vajra from frontier.

    I’m still hoping they put more details into things and clean it up before this comes out, because it looked so ka rather sub par at this point

    Was just watching a video from Hasbro about that set and those lightcycles look alright, but are so simplistic that it basically got one rolling wheel in the back and the main body is just a static front wheel with a seat for the rider and the back moving wheel with a two piece shell that clamps around the rider. It looks like it should, but the parts are so simple that it should just be a cheap add on. Maybe twenty to twenty five for one figure and a bike would be alright

    The did do work after the first trailer of the first movie and that one looked pretty good compared to that, but this has been a while since the first teaser for this movie and it doesn’t look like they did much of an improvement if any

    Just got caught up on the show. Lots of other stuff to watch, like the goofy alien show and Black Rabbit and since the first season wasn’t all that great, we decided to watch an bunch of Nightmare on elm street movies for scary season and all, although we should have just stopped at the third movie since they kinda get progressively worse. this season isn’t perfect, but it’s definitely better than the one before. It Bassically starts out as the network tv version of Deadpool 3 as quality, but with cussing and game of thrones nudity. Most of the actors feel like they would have the quality of a 90’s sitcom, with a few exceptions. I kinda feel like it’s more on the scale of quality with Cobra Kai where there’s a couple standouts and a flimsy story, but with just enough heart and humor and occasional cool thing happening to keep me watching. It’s also got that kinda if they only talked to eachother, then there wouldn’t be a situation at all that’s big with Cobra Kai. i think the biggest spoiler here is that Biggest clue that this was an alternate dimension is the Halloween is the biggest band in the world. Here, even amongst hard rock lovin folks they’re barely acknowledged as existing one thing as that while Peacemaker didn’t seem like the show fit in at all with the old dcu, it fells right at home with the silliness and cheapness of the new dcu. Like they won’t have to make the characters act any different at all to fit in the new version of this film and tv universe since everything is goofy

    The whole set doesn’t look worth more than a hundred bucks, just five small figures and two small lightcycles should be only that much, maybe another fifty if they threw in the big flying blocky roboty thingy. It’s not like these are ultra detailed toys, just kinda basic shapes slapped together

    I guess Leatherhead just runs around with cooked seafood for snackies. Looks pretty mean though, I kinda like him

    Not quite yet, but probably soon since the preorders for those Tekkaman kits went up a few weeks ago and the ride armor prototype was teased around then. Definitely not vapor ware yet since they keep showing up at shows and in color now. They just teased a bunch of stuff at one time and we’re getting something new each month more or less

    Yeah, one of my favorite reviews that I saw that I wish I took a picture of basically said that this movie is so bad it makes you wish AI would actually take over Hollywood. I’m sure it’s not quite that bad, but it made me laugh

    Pretty much, but there are some NIN songs that I like. I do think they’re overrated though, but Trent Reznor is usually pretty good at setting up a soundtrack and some soundtracks that he’s been in charge of were far better than the movies themselves. I guess in that regard I think Trent’s skill with soundtracking is underrated

    From what I’ve been hearing, he’s not even the worst part of the problem here. Just bad acting all around and a bad script giving a lot of goofy dialogue and terrible story.
