[RIP] Itagaki Tomonobu (Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive, etc)
Big s replied to Mommar's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I was totally devoted to the og Nintendo version of the game. And it’s sequels. I beat it only because I had youth on my side, but trying to do it on the switch and somehow I felt like the stupidest gamer ever, failing several times in just the first level was embarrassing. I still knew pretty much exactly what to do, but somehow kept screwing up the timing of just about everything. Modern games made me soft I guess still looking forward to this revoltech figure and I guess it will feel a bit more special unfortunately -
This is probably the kit I’m most excited for this year or maybe even this decade and possibly this millennium so far. Can’t wait to get it in hand, and really curious about the Mercy Rabbit box art. Hopefully shipping will be a little cheaper by release time🤞

This is looking interesting so far. Don’t see too many builds of transformers kits

Looks really cool can’t wait to see it finished. Did you ever find that missing piece?

I really doubt he’s necessarily the problem. From everything I’ve been hearing, it’s an overall problem with everything not including special effects and soundtrack. And when I kinda think about it, Leto mostly just ends up in terrible movies that are bad and would’ve been bad even if someone else was in it. The first suicide squad movie sucked and Leto was barely in it, Morbius sucked, but it was gonna be a turd no matter who was in it. Look at all the other Sony flops like Kraven or Madam Web. Nobody could’ve saved morbius. His problem is that he keeps saying yes to garbage and I think that’s really what’s killing his acting career.

It’s not chonky, it’s just not emaciated

If they do a VF-19 fighter, they’ll definitely do this one as well

Thanks for the info. I wish I could’ve suggested asking if they’d do other Macross characters in resin like the Mirya or Minmay
-
I never actually see the Macross kits from the og series show up here in the U.S. some of the ones from plus and other franchises have, but lately haven’t seen og Macross stuff

What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v4.0
Big s replied to wolfx's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Most of the people I’ve known about that go camping or fishing usually seem to be well stocked with a cooler or two. Even while taking to people about a single morning of fishing seem to finish off five before they return in the afternoon -
Pretty cool stuff coming up. I wish these were articulated versions though. I remember a kondo style Goblin years back that was a full action resin kit and I just didn’t have the cash for it back then. May have been a B-club or kotobukiya kit. But I’ve always wished those designs were in plastic and articulated maybe one day

Isn’t this a basic for camping. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of sober camping. Do sober people even go camping or fishing? -
Or at least till they start charging. I got a pretty healthy stash in there now with a few Macross kits an MA k double pack of afs armors, some Moderoid Tekkaman and that beautiful upcoming Queadluun Rau. I don’t know how much shipping will be, but I also don’t know how much the eventual charges will be if I wait past their deadline. this tariff thing needs to end

I probably would’ve been more interested a few months ago, but I might still grab thesethese were a couple of the designs I didn’t dislike from the show and then there’s this guy. I don’t remember if they did the hg version or if maybe they did and it was a unicorn version, can’t remember. But just in case they didn’t do a hg kit yet, here it is.

I use snack size ziplocks and sandwich size ones for larger parts. I separate them for main body, left and right sides and if need be another for accessories. I usually put a small bit of paper inside to label them left and right, but a sharpie would probably work as well for labeling larger kits of course may need larger bags

That was such a trashy fun movie. The down in fire effects were hilarious and the filmation style sound effects are also great for a laugh. Definitely an iconic band and without them, many styles of music and costume would not have been the same. They also pushed bands to do more with stage antics and how shows could be done in a way for more of a visual experience. Without Kiss, there’d be no Mercyful Fate, or the corpse paint of Black Metal or even more modern makeup and masked bands like Ghost or Sleep Token Ace was an iconic guitarist and definitely one of those that found a way to make sure you knew his name, even if he may not have been as skilled as some others, you knew his name

I got a few of these figures. I still haven’t opened them, they’re surprisingly highly detailed and I feel like you need a magnifying glass to really see everything. Gotta set up a little extra space to display them- 872 replies

It’s one of my favorites as far as looks, but as far as its story in Zeta m, it’s one of the goofier ones. Reccoa got mad that she was being ignored and not being treated as a lady enough, then switched sides due to bad writing and was given that suit to fight off the people she cared about. They really didn’t know how to write female characters back during Zeta era and often times women would just be an emotionally chaotic mess.
