    my delusional inner fangirl would totally buy Messer doing a Bucky........ but my inner SERIOUS MACROSS FAN says NOOOoooooooOOOOoooooOoooo i can get behind plans for an ace flygirl any day! Mirage isn't that great a pilot (yet!) but perhaps, this is her turning point. though so far the debate has been on instinct vs learned skills, & whatever instinct she has, it's been pretty innocuous. maybe the precedent this time round come the latter half of the series is not so much the grooming of an ace pilot or a replacement but like someone pointed out, Delta's potential could probably be a Mirage x Hayate tag team. Mikumo: hahah, c'mon... she is so that girl! the bohemian, nature-loving chick you see in a commune or kibbutz - shoeless, topless, great hair, one with nature - nothing strange about her at all

    probably just me but i never thought that Myung x Isamu ended up together in the end... it always felt like Guld --> Myung --> Isamu x flying pretty much a straight line. i mean, Isamu cared but i didn't feel like it was THAT way. or, it's so subtle i completely missed it! when i watched SDFM again as a grown up, i was thinking this would have been a perfect triangle: Hikaru / Misa / Gloval **evil laughter** i love Misa but she has her daddy issues. sorry but Delta OTP = Messer x Keith, hahahahahahah...

    i'm not sure where to post this so don't get mad, mod shout out to Gwyn for his twitter post of Messer showering... thanks, man, exactly the thing to get over this grief, hahahah. & playing catch-up... i think it was Egan with the Airwolf reference a couple of weeks back on the podcast... i can't get that tune out of my head now!

    it's from a couple of podcasts back & i don't even think it's a serious question: why Kumo-Kumo & not Miku-Miku... hahahahahahah. i just noticed something. Compared to most of them, Mikumo's name is actually in kanji - 美雲 (mi-kumo; for the uninitiated, it means "beautiful cloud"). so, it makes sense to me for her cutesy calling card to be Kumo-Kumo or even Mi-Mi, but not Miku-Miku, get it?

    just flipping through my copy of the recent Newtype, the one featuring Delta with Mirage on the cover... & saw this. some have been asking about the popularity of Delta in Japan & this kinda gives an illustration of it: on the right is a list of Top 10 Works & Delta comes in #2, only below Bungou Stray Dogs. Osomatsu-san is at #3, the new Gundam #6, Kabaneri #7. the other two columns are Top 10 list of popular male & female characters (am sure you can tell from the stereotypical colour codes which is which) where HayaHaya is at #9 and Freyja's #7.
