There are two sets of 5 missiles per launcher, right? Front and back? Or the ones visible are all?

Keeping up with all the variants of the Unicorn, large and small, is such an affair. What are we up to now? - 01 Unicorn, white/red - 01 Unicorn FA, white/green, + FA equipment(, in manga, + spear axe) - 01 Unicorn "psychoframe crystals version"??? - 02 Banshee, black/gold (manga only) - 02 Banshee, + railgun, + claw (anime default) - 02 Banshee Norn, - railgun, - claw, + giant shield, + "wings," + grenade launcher attachment - 03 Phenex, gold/blue, + 2x giant shield - 03 Phenex "NT version," same as above, + 2x shield "tails" - 04 Unicorn Perfectibility, white/blue, + 2x giant shield, + 2x shield "tails," + railgun, +claw, + "wings," + spear axe - 04 Unicorn Perfectibility Divine, same as above, + partial FA equipment (backpack-mounted rocket launcher + grenade launcher + dual gatling guns, long-range rockets) Where does the Perfectibility even appear? I'm gonna guess it's Gundam NT...

I just listened to this episode of The Moth, a live storytelling... campaign? organization? Anyway, this episode is from Veterans' Day 2016. All three stories are good listens if you have the time, but the first one, "Good to Go," is most relevant: Ted Hartley talks about flying - and landing - the F9F Panther. https://themoth.org/radio-hour/veterans-day-2016-iraq-aircraft-carriers-candy

What makes you think that? That's Raimi Green Goblin in the background, not Raimi... what did they call him? New Goblin? The Goblin?

Honestly, this was my first reaction, too. I purposely did NOT watch it until several years after its release, partly because I was an insufferable contrarian, partly because I was being hipster as crap, . "Pfft, Cowboy Bebop? Dragonball? I was into anime before it was cool. Watch some Tekkaman and get on my level, scrubs." When I finally did watch it, I too was left thinking, "That's it?" I was ready for this life-changing pièce de résistance, and instead it was... what, five episodes of fairly standard crime drama interspersed between 20 episodes of standalone ie completely unmemorable filler? Booooooo!!! It was and remains unique in the world of anime, though, and the music has definitely left an impression on me. A few rewatches later, I can better appreciate what I've had to read into it in order to make it enjoyable Um... I mean, its nuances. This is a bit tangential, but I've always loved the different techniques they used in the original trilogy to get the lightsaber effects. Some of them were old, tried and true methods even for the time, and others were painstaking frame by frame manipulation of the film by hand. There's a real... I dunno, a "texture" that results, similar to hand-drawn cels vs. digital, that I greatly prefer over the subsequent trilogies' depictions. Even the latest trilogy with their fancy shapes and warbling effects and actual lighting effects I find to take away some of the allure of lightsabers as the original trilogy made me imagine them to have.

I mean, I'm not saying I minded seeing Kelly Hu with very little left to the imagination again, but ya can't deny it... And like there was some bona fide goofy stuff in there. I know it wasn't even trying to be historically accurate, but you've got dudes practicing with modern-day kendo sticks! Goofy fun time. Polished off BR2049 tonight. The music is so good. Same with Batman Begins. You can never go wrong with Hans Zimmer. The music felt especially well-tailored to the style of BB, versus the sequels.

Amiami tends to put up the product page a while beforehand, IIRC. What about HLJ? Before their site redesign you had to look for the item using their advanced search as soon as preorders opened, but does the regular search function suffice now? I haven't risked preorder madness since the YF-19, so I'm a bit out of the loop. What other sites should we keep an eye on? HobbySearch, maybe?

So I've been on a tear recently through a bunch of classics in my HBO Max library. - The Mummy (90's Fraser film): Finally watched this after having seen Returns way back when. Rollicking good time. - The Mummy Returns: Just as fun as I remember it. - The Scorpion King: I forgot how incessantly horny this movie is. Decent enough, though I don't think it's withstood the test of time. - Blade: Still remarkably good. Still kind of chuckle at the weird edgy??? editing on that car chase. - Blade Runner (Final Cut): It's good, I see why it's a cult classic... but it's also really rough, I can see why it wasn't successful. 2049 is much better. - Jurassic Park: Good as always. - Batman Begins: Good as always. I'm debating between finishing up the JP and/or Dark Knight movies or starting the LotR Extended Edition movies. Oh, by the way, they finally got the Extended LotR movies on HBO Max.
