even just a camio of a bunch of movie cars as "celebritys" in the stands at one of the races would have been neat. when its on DVD i'm gonna have to see what cars are hidden in the stands.

from the looks of it actually, you could repaint parts of him very easily to give him a almost greyed out look in plane mode w/o changing how he looks in bot mode TOO much. the nose, obviously you can hardly see it in bot mode. paint a few of the outside planes of the intake to be grey but leave the underside red. from the front in bot mobe he'd look more or less the same, but in jet he'd look A LOT greyer. Just a thought. -

unfortunately the back of that chair is photoshoped, or the words would fit the contour of the top of the seats' back. i don't think i remember ever seeing a chair on a movie site that tackily labled. -
they're less than 20 bucks a pop, what are people expecting to pay for a character this articulated?

posts are too big for my blood, i'm outy -
This would be SOOOO easy to do. I can't understand why Yamato hasn't done it yet. They could go all out be providing a scaled up, fully articulated and equipped action figure using the tech they employed with the Chirico and Shogo fgures, or they could go cheap and just give us an SIF-style PVC statue. Either way you just know fans will lap it up. 406118[/snapback] No kidding, and imagine all the diffrent "kits" they could have. The show had so many memorable Zent vs Micron moment, like having little hikaru, max, and misa figures for a zent coat pocket !!! I dunno i want one bad. 45 bucks yeah!

I'd buy a 1/48 scale zentradi soldier in basic infantry gear (SDF style pls)

The spies were rewarded with promotions, though. And they were pretty hyped about it. Of course, Kamjin just liked blowing crap up, and Millia was seeking challenges to her skill. So clearly diffrent zentradi have diffrent motivations good point

Xavier has always been a near-sighted loose cannon with no insight into what you do and don't say to someone. gawd. -

this is total retcon but i'd assume that magneto knowing magnetic fields and stuff designed the helmet out of some kind of metal that created a field around his head to block charles. thus the physical shape of the helmet doesn't matter, its the field it creates that does the work. unfortunately that means it's shape probably isn't as important as it's function, making magneto quite the dorky purple helmeted warrior indeed! -
I don 't think the zentradi think of things as far as personal advancement. Breetai was trying to capture the SDF because it was intresting, and there seemed to me at least that the Zentradi sort of have standing orders to investigate anything new. I would suspect that their main focus was to figure out our weapons and repair abilitys so beter to defeat us, not reallyt o learn anything to help themselves. I'd imagine that the Zentradi have very rigid attack protocols for dealing with paticular races/situations. Anything that doesn't fit those models gets the magnifying glass untill a defeat plan is figured out, then its back to KILL KILL KILL.

jardan yeah, good points. i would have started X3 off by plunging them straight into war. Beef up the fight between Xavier and Magneto. The prof. can't read or control Magneto but he could do things like in the first movie with Sabertooth. Be creative. As much as i disliked Cyclops he should have gotten one good fight in the trillogy. He could have gone out heroicly, or tradgicly or something. not confusingly. Magnetos army should have been well outfitted, amasing at magnetos secret base from the first film (what ever happend to that base?) he looks like an idiot in militistic dictator garb leading a bunch of angsty mutants dressed in san fran trends. after two acts of all out war, magneto should have been brought down at the begining of act three, only to reveal the main antagonist of the next movie (pheonix or what ever, if they wanted the war to continue, maybe introduce the sentinel's after the incapacitating of Magneto) after a small victory and a taste of things to come, roll credits and you're all set up. -
In a 1v1 fight SDF vs Breetai's ship (with out using main cannons or fighters, just ship to ship battles) breetais ship would win woudlnt' it? more firepower.

I like to think of macross as a serise of unrelated personal storyies, set in a superficial but very intresting space and military backdrop. Macross has never really been about war or fighting, thats just one element in the lives of the people in the series' which are generally just about their relationships with each other. I dont know about another serise from macross, I'm a little afraid of where the next story would go. Imho as the franchise moves further from SDF Macross the feeling of the franchise has changed in a way that i'm not terribly fond of.

That wasn't what i got at all. i mean the perception is that he's been stripped of his powers completely, he's living as a human, very bummed. I get nothing from that scene other than that his powers are returning. heh.. whats funny is that now that i think about it, Magneto is the most simpathetic character in the movie to me now. His past is that of a truly persecuted person, he knows what this hate and fear can do, and he seems to genuinly want to help his people. He's like the only character that is passionate about something outside of his own wants and desires. I feel bad for him. -

JsARCLIGHT: it's true that copper is not "magnetic", but that doesn't stop magneto. dispite his name, his powers apparently are "to create magnetic fields AND control metals" now, in reality, everything is "magnetic" to some degree, what with gravity fields and such. but his main power seems to be a control over metals, independent of magnetics. so i think he'd be able to control copper. in anycase he tore up the statue of liberty, which is mostly copper.
