I tried to put together a not very good summary of the PO windows from the main vendors based on the time stamps of the comments of when orders were up/sold out.

This was my first non-TWE pre-order for a bandai DX valk, and I thought it was tough already with all the crashes, errors, hlj order chaos etc. Can't imagine what it was like when people pre-ordered the VF-30 or 31.

I could have saved some 3000 yen if I was still in front of my desktop when the NY page went live. Could have ordered a third and canceled HLJ instead. Oh well.

You know those “nozzles” that look like two semicircles? They are supposed to be small thrusters around the valk to control movement. So it is possible that the downward thrust comes from these. But Anime magic is probably the more believable answer. I mean, if the laws of physics held in the anime, Hikaru would have died a very ugly death the moment he went outside that airlock without a pressurized space suit and helmet... LOL -

NY is still down. Feels like a formula 1 race where all the cars on the grid had already started, but NY is stuck at the back with a blown engine.

To those who have ordered more than one at HLJ, please check your account, I just got my second confirmation and so went in and cancelled the (later) duplicate.

seems that there is very little to no discount on PO on this one. I got one each at CDJ and HLJ at 25000 yen.

I just got mine as well. Ordered twice from HLJ. Received just one confirmation so far, fingers crossed they will either cancel the duplicate or I will keep checking in my account to make sure.

Has anyone else received email confirmation from HLJ? I can't even see my order(s) on their site if I wanted to go in an cancel the duplicate.

thanks for letting me know about HLJ and their "Soup Nazi" approach to repeated orders (repeated just because they didn't give me any order confirmation numbers!).
