I agree it would be nice if "the whole housing rotates", otherwise the arms will just have a very limited range of movement. Is it just me or is the chest of the HMR version a little bit too flat, and it should point slightly downwards so that the nosecone is facing vertically down?

Congrats! I still haven't transformed my 31A yet because I love the fighter mode and the regular wings too much... lol. But the head in battroid mode and the color scheme looks really nice.

I understand... the 31A is probably a bit of an extreme example, and I appreciate that we probably won't know the real answer, but I do wonder how many valks are made in a typical Bandai DX run? My guess is at least 5,000, maybe closer to 10,000 even (eg the latest YF-19 FSP has pretty good availability even after release), but it remains a curious mystery to me.

Do we how many copies of these do they make in a typical run for a DX TWE release? 5000? 10000? I am just curious about how many 31A's are in "circulation" out in the open.

Emotional roller coaster - first I see the VF-4 fighter in FB 2012 colour scheme complete with skull leader insignia on the tailfins etc. My heart sank though when I saw those chocolate joint colours in Gerwalk and Battroid...

That’s right, GBP is Takatoku and the -1J carrying it is the Bandai 2002 reissue. I was worried that the arm armour may not fit because of the shape difference in the Bandai arms, but they were fine. -

They have put the price up by 50% since preorder... my preorder (before shipping) was CNY 430 and now it is at least $630. The SSP is still the same price though (CNY 410 iirc)

That is a very nice looking fighter indeed - just checked out its history very briefly. Hard to believe that it's a 1953 design! -
Yes they are neck covers. One of them has slots for the option part pilot seats to plug into in battroid mode. The white color of the side covers should be the same as the Arcadia (pinkish) white body colour. I’ll confirm when I get mine (only have the Arcadia -1S movie focker with SSP set).

yeah I thought the Devy reissue seemed lighter than I remember from 30+ years ago, but wasn't sure if that was just my imagination. Anyway, my daughter spotted my purchase, and long story short, devy is now standing in combined mode next to her massive cutie cars collection... -
The 11B or C have been quite hard to find at reasonable prices as well.

$50 a piece is a fantastic price for a KO. It has gone up from CNY 430 when I ordered to CNY 630 now.

edit: I dropped by my local Walmart after work and to my surprise, they had 5 on the shelf. Debated with myself whether I should get one or two, but at $74 it was a little bit too expensive for me. (Voice in head: would you rather spend the extra $74 on a G1 reissue, or save it for another valk?) -
