@Lolicon just FYI, I asked Mandarake directly if they could give more details of the suspected broken joints. They replied very quickly. I feel a bit better about testing it in Battroid mode now. Indirectly loose overall. A load is applied when deforming. So the staff said it was fragile. The explanation is difficult because it is an individual's feeling beyond that. It is a figure to display without moving too much. -
I would love a full skull squadron of the HMR VF-25.... with armour and super/tornado parts sets!

Yup - I just came across this during my routine search for my "want" list, this being on top (up there with the VF-0D). Saw the "low" price of 20k yen and I knew it had to be pretty beat up. When I got it, the plane was actually in reasonable shape in terms of scratches and paint chips. The left shoulder hinge joint is loose, but that's what I have found so far. The hip ball joints seem to be holding up ok (I have seen worse). But I haven't transformed it into Battroid yet. Here is my question - has anyone experienced any joint breakages with any of the DX renewal VF-25 figure? What joints are prone to failure/stress breakage? With the loose joints, I was just planning to leave it as is, or just dab a tiny bit of thin cement in the hinge to tighten it. Thanks. -
This reminds me of CSI the TV show. They take super grainy CCTV footage and enhance it 1000x to see a face or a registration plate. We need the same technology here

These all came in on the same day, after getting stuck at the New York ICS for days, the VF-4, weeks. The VF-25G was a spontaneous pickup - it was missing most of the accessories except the sniper rifle and the stand (Gerwalk and Battroid adaptors missing). Manda said there are loose joints, and “fear of joint breakage”, bordering on junk status. Transformed into G without problems so far. Will see if it snaps in half when I attempt Battroid.

My impression is that Bandai likes to leave behind a couple of “flaws” or “exclusions” in their products in order to milk us multiple rounds. The HMR white goggle 1J, “reissue” VF-31F with lil draken clips, and one of the worst examples is the VF-171 with the lack of hard points under the wings.

I will still buy it if they sell as a bundle... I just have to get the GBP set for this line. Can’t wait for the day when I can stand the Yammie and the DX 1/48 GBP side-by-side.

Thanks guys. I now know what I have been missing out on. The Glaug has a little paint scratch just under the rear of the right leg joint, otherwise both units are in very good condition.

Something similar happened to me. I bought a VF-22 Miria from YJA, and the antenna was missing when it arrived. I ordered a shapeways replacement for it, but that didn't fit well at all, and I was quite bummed about the whole experience. It wasn't until almost a year later when I decided to take the gunpod out of the tray, when I saw the white antenna sitting right underneath. Let me just say it was a really pleasant surprise (and my stupid mistake to have missed it), as the VF-22 looks incomplete without it. -
Can anyone remind me where in the show do we see Grace's VF-27 beta with the fold drive attached? I have seen this a couple of times now in Jenius' review pics and another source, but does the fold drive from the VF-25G Galia 4 accessory set fit on the VF-27 beta? Does this also work on the VF-27 Gamma (Brera's)? I have a G4 fold set on the way and was just wondering. Thanks.

Sorry to hear about the broken toes on the v2, @valhary, but it looks just fine after the replacement surgery. Great job by the way. Did you have to get an old or broken v1 for the spare parts??

Just took mine out of the box and checked it in Gerwalk mode, the “toes” seem to be ok. Phew.

I really like the look of the TE-01. I had shifted from collecting transformers MP to Valkyries a couple years ago, but this one looks so good, to an extent, better than the upcoming MP version 3.0, and I just had to get one. -

Thanks. My optimistic side thinks that 5/30 is an estimate from the third party seller on Amazon JP, based on the twitter feed from Arcadia. Amazon Japan GK said they needed more time to get an updated release date estimate, so fingers crossed that we won't have to wait a whole month from now to get it.

The first two amigos are really nice, especially the left one, which seemed to use lighter and thinner panel lines. The third amigo looks like it was panel-lined without weathering. All looking fantastic (as usual!)
