Throw the 100ohm back in the tool box. Its the wrong one 0402 reds at 9V need a 390 ohm 1/4W resistor 0402 Blue at 9V needs a 330 Ohm 1/8 or 1/4W resistor You work out the Rating in Watts by the resistor size. They do get hot too as they are dumping power as heat through the resistance wire core.
-
why in parallel? You cant step them down with a single resistor as they need different Forward V for blue than red. You could run all the reds that way but not the blue as well unless you add a seperate resistor for the blue as it needs more V. What Wattage resistor are you using? Can you post up the Volage and the Milliamps of the SMDs and the Resistor wattage? And the power source is it 9 or 12? I found this data table for the 0402s http://www.instructables.com/id/LEDs-for-Beginners/step8/Wiring-up-multiple-LEDs-in-parallel/ The passage from that instructible for you is... "And finally, just some warnings...wiring in parallel drains your power supply faster than wiring things in series because they end up drawing more current from the power supply. It also only works if all the LEDs you are using have exactly the same power specifications. Do NOT mix and match different types/colors of LEDs when wiring in parallel." Your Red SMDs need 2.2V so in parallel supplied by 12V that's a resistor of 560ohm 1/4W that you need for the six reds. The Blue needs a 470ohm 1/8 or 1/4W resistor on its own 12V power lines.

You wont have as it doesn't exist yet and hasn't even been proposed. We are all just dreaming out loud hoping they DO publish one.

I'm working on 3 Wave Destroids plus the dioramas each sits on with troops and vehicles, a handful of GIMix Valks and their Airfield Airshow display, some more GIMix Battroids, Valks and Gerwalks and the 1/100 Zent pods they are fighting, 6 VF-31As, a VF-31S, 31C and 31J in GIMix on a huge Carrier deck, an ES-11 in flight and another on a Carrier Deck with crew around it.... plus 33 1/72 Valk Fighters in various stages for the wall display... Not quite overwhelming yet... but close.

wait... are you advertising to sell the clothing you had made (which makes sense) or the photo sets of the girl modelling your clothes... which is odd...- 85 replies

Those are convenient but way over priced. You can bang that setup up in about 6mins for about $7USD 9V is a pain too. Running 5V means you can go with either USB or 4 x 1.2v AA or AAA rechargables which are everywhere. 9V rechargables are not so common.

well that seems to be the way they look on the series, Flashy as hell more like Knights in polished armour than stealth combat planes. Least thats my take on it and some of those Gundam models have looked amazing in Candy paints so why not a little bling for Macross.
-
Mines on the way and I have a ton of Alclad II Chrome and Polished Brass to simulate the gold. I'm thinking about perhaps doing the entire airframe in Chrome then making the blue more a Candy Coat than a solid flat blue...like with Alclad Candy Cobalt Blue Enamel.

its apparently pretty dark so fingers crossed! And its the first of a series of Monster flicks.
-
dont know, I make my own from acrylic rod
-
naa thats the helping hands or what ever they called them... mini manipulators for semi delicate tasks and maybe selfrepair in the field? lol, gerwalk is better for epic faceplants
-
I have a ton of spares if you need anything. I have 16 of those things so far!

The point is I want a do a diorama of a Pre Space Wars era VF-1 carrier landing and at that point the general public had no idea they could transform (so as to avoid mass panic about giant warlike aliens) and everyone saw them as simply next gen fighters. If you have a HELPFUL comment, share it, if not... Looks like it will have to be one of the VF-0s I have for this project.
-
yet they gave it two, and the VF4 has one, and the 11... All good, I'm going to scale this diorama back up to 1/72 to solve the issue.
-
no idea from me, I use Tamiya fine detail primer where I can
-
you doing the sparkly gun charging thing?
-
its already out

Ahh no, thats my man cave office space wall. I build it from an unused hallway and made it soundproof and all mine and not hers! The walls not getting painted, its getting a Macross Photo wallpaper done taken from the Last Sortie books. Its just taking me awhile to find a printer I'm happy with.

Is this the one on the 200ml plastic squeeze bottles? If so, I HATE it. Its always coming off. I have the grey and the white And it ABSOLUTELY will not do my hairspray weathering technique as any brushing on it will rip it off.

Ahhhhh finally!!! Wondered when that was arriving! That should torpedo the stupid $150 Fighter only ones I've been seeing on Yahoo JP Bugger... that's not the VF-31A 3 mode set...
-
TOLD YA ITS FUN! meanwhile I'm applying 1000 stupidly small, (as in 2.5mm) Hex masks to my Tomahawk to carry on the paintjob

Aoshima do a 1/72 JDF Wheeled Tank thats no way in hell 1/72, more like 1/87! I got it to use with some destroids and ground troops and the troops COULD fit in it if they lay down! yeah... its a little messed up. Imagine your mum, wife, kids, gf or mother in law seeing it. Doubt they'd leave you to look after any kids alone.
