So, are the Yamto Vf0s really that inferior to the Arcadia releases? I want a few Zero Valkyries and the Yamatos are much cheaper. I've seen the Scorched earth reviews of each but I don't do much other than pose on the stand. So for display are they that much worse than the Arcadia? Also I don't think the legs of the Vf-oA fall off on Yamato. Thoughts?

I have forced my daughter into fandom. I let her play with my bandai 1/55, she can articulate my arcadia, but never for playing (unless I'm home alone then I go whoosh when Roy flies around the room, don't judge you know you do it too). I have a question about the Yamato vs. Arcadia Vf-0 differences, what thread would be best?

Weird, I posted a reply a couple of days ago and it never showed up....... Long story short, I love it. -
You have a point. It's not as if the KOs are of a current brand which is marketing and selling their product. Seeing as how Yamato is defunct the KO market for their items no longer in production from a non entity is IMHO not really hurting anyone. If the product stands up to the wear and tear of continued transformations then it's kind of a win win. If and when the IP of Arcadia or Bandai gets the bootleg treatment it becomes a bit more convoluted. I don't necessarily see harm in it if you have an original to display and use the KO for "playing" with. The last thing, I think, any of us want to see is Arcadia losing ground to the KO market causing them to stop issuing new items thus defeating the need for the KO in the first place. I need moral guidance, where is Superking when I need him?

So, thanks for listening to all of my whining. Here she is posted on the stand. It's my first v2. I have a bandai 1/55 Ichijo, 2 RMP Alphas, an Aoshima green Legioss, a Gakken Stick ride armor, a CM dark Stick ride armor, a Megahouse Yellow ride armor, and 2 really crappy Toynami 1/100 vf1s. The Toynami vf1s are such garbage. -

Do you fine folks have a recommendation for a good display. I want a floor display not a counter top, but the prices on everything I've been seeing as of yet are pretty ridiculous. Also my Arcadia Valk is finally processed through the L.A. ISC and says it's "In transit", but the last update was on Sunday. I live in Southeastern Washington state and it normally takes less than 24 hours for packages to make it from L.A. to Spokane and hen another 24 for delivery to my local USPS hub, I know i need to be patient but when you drop almost $300 on an international package and aren't getting updates it gets my balloon knot all twisted up........... -

Thanks everyone, the reason I said forever was my eBay seller waited 12 days before he even shipped. But, in his (or her) defense they sent me a message that they could take up to 20 days before shipping. So until I get my Valk this little beauty is going to be lonely. Until such time as I get my VF-1S, I precariously perched my 1/55 Ichijo Bandai, not too good but it's something until my Arcadia arrives. -

Ahh, I see. So when the package was accepted it wasn't assigned a designated flight but instead put some kind of a standby waiting for a flight with room. Anyone know if it's put into a first come first serve queue, or if its about the size available for the package? -

I've been waiting forever for my Arcadia DYRL VF-1S with super and strike parts. I don't know if there is a specific thread for shipping questions so please correct me if so. It's being shipped SAL from Tokyo prefecture. It was accepted on March 6th, processed through facility (TOKYO INT V BAG 2) the 9th, and for the last three days it reads "Origin post is preparing shipping". I know SAL to the U.S. is supposed to takes 2 weeks give or take, should I be concerned at all with the amount of time it has been in Tokyo without progress? -
Racing stripes, white letter tires, big ass spoiler, and an exclusive sneak peak to the new CBS police drama starring Roy Fokker's VF-1S as the "Lone Wolf" detective who gets on the wrong side of the police chief because he always has the mayor breathing down his neck for breaking all the rules!

Thank you. I was already watching it anyway. I really find the dialogue difference striking and extra scenes and footage are quite obvious. Thanks for your input. By the way, the explanation of canon and not canon is definitely accurate in the star wars world as well with the disneyfication of the franchise, so I get the idea. Once again thanks for your help!

Hello all, I am a newbie, I have made some posts in the toy thread but not anywhere else yet. Like many others here in America who grew up in the 80's my introduction to Macross came through Robotech. I have recently acquired almost all Macross Shows, movies, etc.. This question, I am sure has been asked again and again, but this thread is veeeery long and I don't have time to sift through the almost 70 pages. I know that Macross is far superior to Robotech and I know the basic character differences and name changes from being around Anime fans and general nerdy stuff. My question is, if I want to dive into Macross do I need to re-watch the first 36 episodes? I am aware there are definite differences between the Americanized and highly edited Macross series and the fist 36 Super Dimension Fortress Macross episodes. So can I dive into Macross II or Macross Plus right away? Sorry for the Robotech questions as I know this is probably a hot button issue around here. Any info I can get would be very helpful, thanks for your time

Hi, I'm new. I think I understand the rules and I am just stating as a matter of fact and not defending, but I came to the world of Macross through Robotech. While Robotech has a special place in my heart I am well aware of the superiority of Macross. I have a toy collection and I don't know the specific rules about where to post what. I own a Bandai 1/55 VF-1J H. Ichijo, which I love dearly. I also have two Robotech Masterpieces, one Scott Bernard Blue Alpha and a Maia Sterling Shadow Alpha. Next are 2 1/100 toynami 30th anniversary Robotech, one a Rick Hunter VF-1S, and a Max Sterling VF-1A. I have some questions about a DIY fix for my blue alpha, the right hand broke on its first time out of the box. Overall I am not impressed with the Alpha fighter masterpiece models, they are flimsy and pretty disappointing. I have 2 Aoshima 1/48 Mospeada Legioss fighters on the way. I plan on taking a right hand from the 2nd green Legioss and replacing the broken hand of my blue alpha as I understand that the Aoshima 1/48 and th MPC 1/55 are the same mold castr and model essentially. I also have a Mospeada ride armor 1983 Gakken en route as well. If anyone can direct me to the correct place to discuss my Mopseada/Robotech collection and repairs I would greatly appreciate it. If anyone has any advice you can e-mail me at giantmanofrichland@gmail.com. Thanks for your patience, I apologize if I have crossed the line with my non Macross discussion, thanks.
