  1. Full package should include the special cover box that houses the wings and the main figure box.
  2. I wonder if they will reuse the original Stormtrooper costumes. If they make a new visual adaptation of it like Rebels, then they could have more Hot Toys figures.
  3. I still have three of those stands bought last year, but they are out of print now. However, those official stands aren't necessarily the best option. I already of Bandai's VF-19 Advance, is the Arcadia YF-19 superior to it in any way aside from the 90s lineart proportions? Funny thing is, Bandai tried to tease a YF-19 at Tamashii Nation 2015. Judging from the Arcadia release patterns, we had the following: 2013: VF-1J 30th, VF-1Sx2 2014: VF-19Kai Soundbooster, YF-19 2015: VF-0D, VF-1J GBP, VF-0A, VF-0S 2016: VF-4G, YF-19 So quite a few reissues of Yamato bestsellers and two v2 Arcadia moulds: YF-19 and VF-0.

    Regult lasted maybe 5 hours+.

Surprised that there is a 3 unit limit for such a popular item.

Got one at Amiami and one at CDJ. Both had to be registered airmail though.
  7. So we should never Arcadia goods from NY due to no support? My VF-0S is coming soon and the VF-4 is on order.
  8. It seems like companies don't like making products to complement their rivals existing products, even if the rival has dominated the market already. If they had gone with a 1/48 giant AT-AT instead, then the 1/48 equivalent of their proposed 1/144 line could be completed with: Bandai 1/48 X Wing Moving Edition 1/48 Snowspeeder 1/48 AT-ST Fine molds 1/48 TIE Fighter Revell 1/50 T-70 X Wing Hasbro giant unpainted Millennium Falcon around 1/55 scale. Will just need to see how mass productive these 1/144 ones are, and I hope it will go beyond phase 2.
  9. 8 years apart from Frontier doesn't really warrant a new mainstay and the VF-31s are still part of the same generation as the YF-24 which was the benchmark technology circa 2058, unlike the generational shift from M7 to F(VF-19 to YF-24) allowed by the time gap. Furthermore, the VF-171EX variant just rolled out in 2059. This VF-171EX might be another block model, can't tell if the colour scheme is different though. Would be nice if they have a special NUNS squad with jet black painted VF-171EXs with new weapons for the armored parts. Maybe new web exclusive VF-25F of a random NUNs version. New super parts perhaps? They could easily rehash some Frontier molds. I am guessing that after releasing the Delta SquadVF-31 concurrently with the TV series, they have plenty of post-broadcast time to release other things to make way for a movie version. They have way more time this time round since the VF-31 mould is already definitive unlike the crappy VF-25 v1 moulds. I would also like to see at least 2 Macross Quarter variants with a new mould.
  10. So do you think the green "Drakens" will still be classified as an SV-262 Draken III like the blue and gold one,or would they be a slightly older model?
  11. Should we expect a reissue if a white VF-171 has appeared in Macross Delta? Maybe the lack of a new mainstay means they'll be focusing on the ace models VF-31 and SV-262 along with their idols rather than mecha porn.
  12. Dragon is doing 1/144 line for the original trilogy to distinguish from the Bandai line. some people say they're just too small as the F-Toys one had shown. However, I do like the idea to be able to mass produce everything in the same scale especially with a mix of ground and air vehicles. I did buy 2x Bandai Snowspeeder and AT-ST and hoping to get a 1/48 X Wing, but now Dragon might be a better choice for army building. The 1/35 AT-AT should be the same size as Hasbro's giant one. I am just hoping to buy all the 1/144 ones to re-enact the Battle of Hoth without Battlfront style without the troops. Hopefully variants such as Y-Wing, TIE Interceptor will make it in. The F-Toys did have it but hard to army build due to the trading figures being sold as sets, along with being mixed scales mixed with the prequel trilogy. Most likely they're model kits, but don't expect them to be cheap as their production capacity is low.
  13. More Gundam parallels: http://gundam.wikia.com/wiki/Mobile_Suit_Gundam_Climax_U.C.:_The_Bonds_of_the_Bloodline Federation Admiral has a pair of son and daughter twins. The son pilots a gold Berga Giros for the Crossbone Vanguard and hates his father, while her daughter pilots a F90II. Death Star(Crossbone Vangaurd literally built an identical Death Star) is destroyed, admiral goes into the battlefield in a Prototype Javelin and is mortally wounded by his son in an attempted to reconcile with him, while his daughter witnesses it. Son turns back to the light side after he feels remorse.
  14. I think the New Republic was dysfunctional due to their lack of responsibility and mission, complacency and fear of imposing order to opposing factions in fear of more conflict, and last of all, lacked the guidance of a Jedi Order that the original Galactic Republic had. This reminded me of the weakened Federation post UC 0088 in Gundam, where most of the work done to quell new emerging threats were done by splinter cell groups such as the Bright Noah's AEUG, Londo Bell and Uso's Dad's League Militaire, which were all too similar to the General Leia Organa's Resistance.
  15. Looks like Unit 01 with Mikumo riding it is the traditional S type variant, with a purpleish colour scheme. At the moment, I don't quite dig the non-military colour schemes, so I will just buy the gold Draken, the VF-31S since I like the blonde guy and Mikumo's designs, and maybe also buy the cannon fodder versions,

Monster should be towards 25-30k, with metal parts too. More than Penelope but less than Hulkbuster.

Glaug costs 13000 yen, almost 2 Regults. Destroid Monster won the poll as expected, so it will be released after the Glaug. 2nd and 3rd place were M&M. Sadly, NJ Ger got 9th place.
  18. Tempted, but inferior mold compared to the benchmark VF-25.
  19. I would rather wait for the dark gray anonymous soldier ver.

pre order madness ensures. The number one voted character will be released after the Glaug. That means they must have got prototypes of most of them.My guess is either Monster or NJ Movie Ver
  21. April Fools. In the novelisation they had VF-25s.

It appears that a decent toy of VF-1 will only go up in price even in the short run. They will never be discounted upon release. Decent toy excludes most Revoltechs and obviously Toynami.
