Amazon co.jp reviews have been good so far, but one said the boosters in fighter mode could be a bit loose. Removing the boosters gives it the FAST Pack configuration just like the Arcadia release.

I only started collecting Bandai Macross this year, so this is my first time experiencing the hype in anticipation of a new mould/release. The last new mould was the YF 30 and Arcadia's 0D.

I was wondering, does Hong Kong usually get popular Macross items in stock on release date? My impression is that Hong Kong doesn't have as many people pre-ordering and they usually wait for the retail release. I remember seeing many Voltes V and Metal RD Hi-NuGundam upon release. Of course, that was due to the Asia official batch stock.

This is also one of the few self contained releases as it also comes with its own super pack. VF-27 1.5 doesn't count as it is an obsolete mould.

Sorry for being off topic, but I had no idea that Arcadia's was a completely different mould from Yamato. But I guess Arcadia's VF-19Kai and the VF-1 were just reissues. I think Bandai must have upped the production numbers from the delay. But this one tend to attract those who avoid Frontier era styled designs.

DAYUM! Was this the first Bandai VF to get a transformation video promo? So it takes 10 minutes at fast forward speed to transform a couple of rounds. VF toys are definitely the most complex transforming toys to date.

Actually, I am thinking of giving a spare armor pack to the VF-1S with the strike pack attached, kind of like that Thunder Hummer one.

HLJ is renowned for necromancy. That VF-22S Miria from few months back must have been loose stock/preowned. Hobbysearch has unsealed preowned but sold at original price. AE still has that YF-19 unit 4 for 22k. A small premium above the initial price.

Aside from the VF-1, it appears that the YF-19 had the most number of (re)releases in Yamato's line.

Yeap, still up. Got my second one. Not sure when to off load my other one which I pre-ordered for 26k yen before commission. Maybe I'll just keep it as an unopened grail or sell it to someone locally if I could ever find a buyer. It appears that HLJ is the only store that tends to reopen Bandai pre-order madness items a month before release.

Looks greyer than the initial stock photos. Given that even the VF-1 Armored had a color change upon release, no one knows the exact color of an Arcadia product until it comes out.

So everywhere sold out due to the grey goggle confirmation. Went with Bandai instead during the lead up to the release. Oh well, I would rather wait for VF-0 Armored.

They're the same stands as the ghost ones that came with the RVF-25 Super Pack.
