  1. Thank you guys, having lots of fun doing them. @Ryoma, I used a wash from flory models. It is clay based and will come off with water and a cloth unless you seal it. Means that you can clan up any mistakes on your valkyries. I was recommended it by Derex on the VF-25 thread, he did his CF and it looks awesome.
  2. somewhat inspired by Lancelot's efforts I decided to have a go at the low vis VF-1J i had been considering. I did it on a V1 yamato that usually sits in a set of GBP as a saftey net and more as a proof of concept, need to get myself a spare V2 to do it properly, better yet an assembly kit. I also decided to panel line my V2 Super Hikaru, really liking how it looks! Thanks for looking, David
  3. Just chillin
  4. Wow, by comparison I have it easy. I can visit ikea by car in 30 minutes. Puttung it together on my own was a challenge however.
  5. I am somewhat jealous. Tv max 1A is looking like my next purchase. This weekend i did however get my first detolf, that counts right. Already tweaked it :-P
  6. I can only get so hard! Excellent work Lancealot! Need to get myself a valk and one of the heads to give this a go. How do you protect the paintwork? I expect it will wear really badly when it is transformed.
  7. The Summoner, Hellbringer and Adder are all from Ravenstar studios and were resin kits. They are sold as 1/60 but next to the yamato 1/60 VF-1 and Tomahawk they look overscale, possibly 1/48.The Timber Wolf is wip, it is made from a hand held game,i have arms for it and i am making the shoulder LRM 20s.
  8. I think i have worked out why i like the vf-27, it is the opposite of why many people dislike it, the smooth surfaces with few panel lines makes it look advanced compared to other valks. I want the Galia IV fold pack to complete the Alto leaving Galia look. All this merely because I was cheap and didn't want to shell out for Alto coloured super parts.
  9. Brera arrived, after spending a week in a French airport gotta say the VF-27 has become my favourite frontier valk, ended up in a knife fight with Alto....
  10. Only started a few months ago, and I think I am hooked. Next purchase is either another vf-1 or a detolf or both :-P Sorry for the phone pic, may crack out my dslr later and see what i can do.
  11. This big bird landed today, a little floppy in battroid but huge and mean looking in fighter. Then this was flying overhead when i got in David
  12. They look excellent Derex, I will be picking up some of that wash and having a go!
  13. Got myself VF-25S Ozma Lee from Knightdramon on here, fantastic person to deal with :-) Back to back with Alto
  14. Had the great pleasure of building my first Macross kit recently, went together beautifully, paint and decals were fun to apply. assembled it and snapped it's hip when fitting the right leg. pinned back on now but damn!! thats tight Thanks for looking David
  15. I keep changing my mind on the 19 series. At the moment I am liking the YF-19. However the VF-25F is hands down my favourite, love the lines, the familiarity with older models and the colour scheme.
  16. Yamato tomahawk, love the design, hate the waist joint.
  17. I cracked, love the new head. I am surprised as well that they included both.
  18. Looking at the pattern I think that the S will be re-reissued before the G. which is a pity because i really want a G
  19. Hi guys, just got my first renewal, an Alto VF-25F. and here he is giving my V2 Hikaru a bad day. I am really impressed with the balance and pose-ability of the renewal valks! Then on a whim picked up a set of super armour for him, got a set of 25G armour as it was a reasonable price unlike the Alto sets i found. In my opinion Michael's armour looks good on Alto David
