I like it as an idea, i am going to pick up a set and give it a try. If it dosen't work i am sure i will find a use the the missiles elsewhere down the line. I also had a look at the Hasegawa set which is very similar. The attachment points for the pylons to the wings wouldn't work at all.

Baturutor may have answered my question, but does anyone know the exact release date for this? Is it 22nd or is it 31st?

I am all over the Chuck vf-31. However i think it will come with a standard pod. The radome will come as a tamashii exclusive with the super parts. Because, you know, bandai are all about squeezing us for money.

Normally not a fan of itasha but it suits the 31 given how they are used in delta.

I am lucky that it will be 8 or 9 am for me so no late night worries. So instead I will be at work and it will be probably the busiest day of the month for me.

He is high up in the queue, assembled and undercoated. Unfortunately i agreed to paint the playing pieces for Relic, so i have 20 1/35th scale busts to finish off.

I bet it is a trick of the light or the towbar. It's Bandai, we will get plain metal landing gear and like it.

I have been working on and of on this for a while, its a Yamato V1 GBP set but this felt like the most appropriate place to put it. I am now in the market for an Yamarcadia V2 set to paint, i didn't have the balls to pick one up to paint. now i feel up to it. I wanted a more Beaten up camouflaged version to go alongside the standard blue one. Hoping this gets the ball rolling for me getting on with some more of the custom valks i want to do, and more importantly actually get them finished!

Not to stir the blue pot too much but.... The stills look like the same colour as the prodction 0D while the sample in the dengeki video looks more like the pre production 0D with the nice unsaturated blue. I expect something like the 0D in tone at release.

Bring it! I just assembled a couple of the tiny mecha collection 31s and i am super excited for the dx! Edit: Is it just me that thinks the landing gear may work and could actually look good?

Is it just me that thinks those sprues look awfully empty? Its weird to see so much dead space. Can't decide is i want a 1/20 vf-1 its almost temptimg because it is quite so mad

Too soon! Anyway no politics here. I want to see the physical super packs on a dx toy from more angles before casting my judgement. Then i will buy them anyway because i an a sucker for super packs.

I am joining the "new" yamato valk club. I picked up a VF-1D trainer for a reasonable price "used" on evilbay and it finally arrived today. If it has been used it has been lightly used, tape was still on the landing gear, Mint condition! It also coincided with getting some of my valks out to clean my cabinet. Ok i may have got a little OCD when lining them up

They may be my first HMR, i like the colour on the fast packs. That said i prefer the colours yamato used. I was waiting for the wallet destruction gifs to turn up.
