  1. Check for updates here.
  2. One gimmick I would love for the 1/48 destroids would be working searchlights. Yamato could use those tiny watch batteries, maybe even AAA size? Of course all hatches would have to open and removable missles are a must. Like >EXO< said, the Matchbox destroids look great next to 1/60 valks. So hunt'em down 1/60 fans.
  3. The only 1/60s I have are the Q-raus. So 1/48 destroids would be more in line with my Macross collection. I'd like to be able to put the valk pilot figs into the destroids. I agree with jonwayne, why not make'em in both scales?
  4. When fans of a series grow up and have disposable income is when companies usually go for the "deluxe treatment". You won't see a MP Armada Prime anytime soon. I think that the deluxe ones are mostly display pieces while the value ones are okay for throwing across the room.
  5. So are you gonna take orders from MWers or will this involve Binary Being? How about letting us see some images of your choices for the T-shirt. May I suggest a small Super Deformed GBP on the front and a regular large version on the back. What about the color of the shirt? I'm thinking one color would make it easier.
  6. La Cienega TRU in West Los Angeles also have those same Alts. 2 Grimmies, 3 Windchargers, 2 Ravages and 1 Swindle were left.

    Yamato SDF-1

How tall would the toy be at that scale? I wouldn't mind any company *cough*Toynami*cough* releasing at least a small 7" tall SDF-1 Macross TV/DYRL.
  8. I vote for the shirt to at least have "MW Con5" on it somewhere. Last year's had that silhouette of the Minmay doll on the back which should've said "MW Con4" below her. How about some characters this year?
  9. We missed you at last year's con Noel. It was good to meet and share a Sapporo with you at con3. Only if I would've gotten there sooner for that 1/55 GBP armor. PMing you with another request.
  10. Who cares! It still looks cool.
  11. Totally fresh and awesome! Were you able to get that texture that the original Takatoku boxes have?
  12. Come on, 'zilla. We need pics that'll make us You can do it!
  13. Those are some sick @$$ pics s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d. Looks professional. Jeebus, you're already takeing apart your VB-6.
  14. I know it's barely January, but I think we should start thinking where it's going to be held. Since Solscud007 and Otaku Smeghead have left the building, no more Irvine gatherings. So any ideas? I'll bring the Sapporo, of course.

    THE BIG ESCAPE

Impressive. Most Impressive. Great work newbie!
  16. Mine will also pretend to be a MkII Monster. Them pegs aren't die-cast, which is what they should've been.
  17. I recommend the J with FPs, so you can then use the FPs on the cannon fodder. Whenever Yamato gets around to it.
  18. Maybe Yamato has decided that they'll go with a 1/100 scale MkII Monster. So you can display it together with it's little bro.
  19. Congrats on your acquisition of the now hard to find Hikaru 1S. A 1/48 made entirely of die-cast? Imagine all the paint chips, it would look awful after a few transformations, plus the floppy arms.
  20. If you want to get Aoshima's 1/48 Airwolf at a great price, then post here. Come on, you know you want the "Lady".
  21. Also, Bandai used Miria on their release of the 1/55 re-issue. Wouldn't Bandai and Yamato have to clear this with BW? IMHO, I happen to prefer the look of the spelling Miria as opposed to Milia or Millia.
  22. you... have... yours??? Hmm, verrrry interesting. Could this mean happiness for the F&S peeps on the VB-6 list? Inquiring minds want to know!
  23. Hmm, how about 1/48 versions of the 1D, VE-1, VT-1 for 2005. And maybe throw in a CANNON FODDER 1A for crying out loud.
  24. Got my minty fresh Focker yesterday. Thanks again Kev. Now where is that CF Yamato?
  25. Man, now that's what I call a Valkoholic.
