  1. All I can say is, "Wow!" I can't wait to see what your Daedalus looks like.
  2. Ok, I'm sold. I trust your judgement. Now I need to buy a new battroid kit.
  3. Forgive me for saying this. It doesn't look that great to me. There doesn't seem to be much detail. Maybe the photos are to blame.
  4. That was a great review. Please keep them coming. So the verdict is: meh, so so. I guess I'll wait for DVD.
  5. Can you put me down for one? Am I too late? Doh!
  6. Ewww, gross... The feet are white on the standard issue Q-rau.
  7. GunnerX, that is mother ....... kick-ass! Those look awesome together. I need to be at your level of building. You definitely got some skillets.
  8. There's a war going on. MacrossWorld is out of control. It seems everybody is in attack mode.
  9. Schweet! Those look really good together. I'm jealous of your skills. As mentioned, I'd love to see some close-ups.
  10. I don't see it ?! Hasegawa Low Vis Here it is...
  11. They've got the low vis back in stock. (The kit, not the yammie)
  12. That Vermillion squad is just badass. Very nice. That's what I'm shooting for.
  13. I recognize the actor that plays Reed Richards. He was in Horatio Hornblower. I loved that series on A&E. I swear, that guy's been picking the shittiest roles ever since. It's a shame because I think he did a great job on Horatio but, ever since he hit the big screen, all of his roles have been bland static characters in stinker movies. I hope he gets a decent movie one day.
  14. You're joking, right? Those would come out to about a half inch or so. That'd be freakin' cool! "Look! It's a micronized micronian fleet!"
  15. Hey Cap, can I order another kit? Are they all sold out?
  16. I got mine. Looks great, thanks. Now I can't wait until we get a pilot figure or a scout or missile version.
  17. I buy all of my modelling supplies from Brookhurst Hobbies. I love that store because they have everything that other hobby stores don't. Of course I'm talking about the actual store location in Orange County, California. I've never ordered from their website.
  18. name them! I've been here a while and I still can't keep up who these people are. Especially when people change avatars, I'm screwed. I've learned the hard way to never name names. I don't wanna piss anybody off. Especially since I have a low post count. But I probably spend at least an hour but usually more here reading the boards every day. Besides, I post junk every now and then. I feel like I help out, though. A little while back, I hauled a big trash bag into work full of hasegawa boxes just so I could scan them for Jesse's model page update. I got a few looks from the peeps at work. But I felt obligated to contribute what I could.
  19. It seems there was 15,000 kits produced. I got this straight from HLJ regarding the VF-1D kit: 1/72 VF-1D Fighter Valkyrie Code: HSG65755 Series: Macross Special limited-production version of the incredibly-popular Hasegawa Valkyrie kit. Just 15,000 being produced. Includes photo-etched parts and Cartograf decals.
  20. I don't know how well I'm known. But I feel like I have a very good idea of who everyone is around here. I know who the junk posters are and who really contributes. Anyway, as an example, the first thing that comes to my mind is Grayson72 'the picture nazi'. Every time somebody posts a picture that's bigger than 640x480, I can guarantee he'll be in there to remind them about the image size rules. I don't wanna name any names but I can think of a few junk posters.
  21. The canopy became slightly warped. If I do buff it out and get it sparkly clear, it still won't fit right. It's just not the same shape anymore. I suppose I can try it seeing as I have nothing but time on my hands.
  22. Thanks for the replies. It's nice to know I can turn to you guys for help. Hopefully, I can figure out what to do about a replacement canopy. Anyway, this is what I'm working on right now. It's a Super Jenius. I guess I'll pull a canopy out of another kit in the meantime. Oh well, I'm sure I'll get a replacement one day.
  23. After some test fitting, I found that the edge of the canopy is warped and does not sit flush against the cockpit. I think my only option now is to find a replacement canopy. I have about ten other unbuilt Hase valk kits I could take a canopy from but, eventually, I'm gonna need a new canopy. Does anybody have one they can spare? I'll make it worth your while.
  24. A little disaster occured. I spilled my Tenax all over my work table. Unfortunately, my canopy for my Hasegawa valk got covered in it. Now my canopy is all foggy and melted along the edges. I don't know if I can salvage it. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
  25. I have two. Now I'm kind of upset because I dont want to build such a rare kit.
