I looked into it and it seems you can buy just the refill ink and airbrush it on. I'm super curious about it now. From the Google: The liquid chrome is the result of a long-term development of the also well-known BURNER™ ink from MOLOTOW™. LIQUID CHROME™ is available as markers and as 30 ml refill. The refill is perfectly suitable to be applied with an airbrush.

What a really nice build! I enjoyed the videos. I think we all agree they're great kits with lots of potential but the trick is finding them at a reasonable price!

@Return To Kit Form I think your Gabriel turned out great! I picked up the Rinaldi Studio books that give weathering tutorials. I'm trying to get to your level.

Awesome setup, @MechTech! Thanks for the info on setting it up! @Focslain, there is a steep learning curve to spraying w an airbrush or even a rattle can. The results are worth it if you can hang in there with it.

I'm considering buying a 3D printer just to print this. Not sure what a good model to buy would be and how much of a learning curve there is to learn how to use it. Definitely want this.

Everybody's doing SDF-1 mods now! Therefore, it only stands to reason, some company will announce a proper modern version of the ship in this scale! Happens all the time! -

That's a great idea! A TV SDF-1 would be awesome. They can have a gimmick where the main gun is motorized to open up for firing. What scale do you think that would come in? -

So I'm just seeing this. The KO m&m are in stock right now at this place. Is this the reason I keep seeing the official Arcadia releases in stock at HLJ? I mean, it seems like this is really hurting Arcadia.
