MAHQ has some stuff (no characters though).

If Bandai wants and can risk it let them, I wish them the best of luck. And if they even do a remake better yet. If people here want to be elitists have registration at MW be closed and kick out anybody that can’t recite the dialogues of the series. Yes, kids generally like shiny stuff, which generally is bad, but some of them happen to see decent/good shiny stuff and a percentage of this kids then wants to see only good stuff and end up seeing good old stuff. This happens whit books and movies alike. Remember that we were kids in the 80’s and we also saw a bunch of crap along with the good stuff. EDIT: Ups... don't know what made me say Bandai

Official Gundam Plamodel Thread
Twoducks replied to Black Valkyrie's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Wow nice, thanks! Looks like the transformation is going to be the main gimmick (by this I mean that it doesn't look like it has moving plates like the MKII) -
Can anybody make out if the hands are chicken hands or good looking new hands?

A semi-homage to a strange GBA/DS courtroom drama game. DS version's got a US release as "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney." Yes. My awesome powers of mind control let me manipulate your perception of the words in the box. ... But sometimes I just cheat and use the form. http://www.reset931.net/saiban/ The first 3 links above the guy let you pick a lawyer to object with. The 4th is an ad. Unleash the evil. We could use a new sith lord. HAHA! 338456 mmh... this might become a trend

Why Macross 7 never release in the US
Twoducks replied to DrunkenMaster2's topic in Movies and TV Series
Well, all the talk this series gets on MW has made me give M7 a try. Already seen three episodes (from the Central Anime fansubs ) and, even though I already knew of some of the wackier stuff in it (The piloting while singing has to be seen to be believed), it made my mind go WTF? in a funny/weird way… I’m going to watch it all, just need to convince my broh to see it too and the laughs are guaranteed. Who knows, I might end up liking Basara. Now, if this thing gets released its going to sink like a brick. The animation is too crappy compared to newer stuff (Basara mouth is scary while singing); the initial hook to watch it is Macross and it’s very different to the original or Plus; and it doesn’t have ninjas (which I guess are the in thing now with kids). -
Well, you are TWO ducks... 337449 True, true

Sorry last nights post didn’t make much sense (last time I post half asleep). I get most of my torrents in the page you mentioned, it’s a good page where you can see the names of the files that make up the torrent in case there’s something fishy. I’ve just tried that Castelvania Torrent and I can only say that it has a good number or seeders and lechers right now. Game files usually come zipped so you never know what’s inside until you completely download the file. There’s also http://rapo.no-ip.com/prog/relweb.pl?q=psx&rws=Go On clients I can only speak of the original BitTorrent and of Bitlord. Of Azerus I've heard that it uses up a lot of memory. BitTorrent is very basic and the last version I had only permitted one download at a time. Bitlord is based on Bitcomet, it has a built in navigator (based on mozilla) and has access to a search engine for torrents (like the one I posted yesterday). Sometimes I find with this engine things that I can’t find in other places (but I prefer not to use it). The good thing about clients like Bitcomet, Azerus or Bitlord is that you can select the files that you want and don’t want to download in case of multifile torrents, can have more than one download at a time plus you can see a whole lot of other information (and I find them easier to use than e-mule/e-donkey). You only need to have port 6881 open to use this programs and select an upload speed (the max you want people to leech from you). Set this to be 80% of your max upload speed (depends on your Internet provider) so that you can have a nice download speed (share little you get little, share a lot and you can’t get any). Castelvania SOTN is a beautiful game. If you can get it original, do so. Nice looking manual and nice cover. One of the best 2D games I’ve ever played (to bad my PSX is dead, I only had 2% left to complete it). Hope this helps.

Here's a torrent (don't know if it's seeded). Castelvania

Crap, I added myself two times

You can use a downloaded ISO, or a disk. Search for the files you need by name (and look in Italian pages) or use a P2P program. There was also a torrent that had every file for ePSXe.

Variable Fighter Star Wars X-Wing and TIE Fighter
Twoducks replied to wolframbane's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Well the vehicle modes look nice at least. Vader doesn't look too bad, I like the whole knight image going on with the saber and shield, but Obi just looks baaaad 336236 Transformer Obi has a beard... and a nice hair cut... and it's beyond baaaad -
But weren’t those subs from a Chinese DVD rip?

Show off your coolest non-Macross toys & models
Twoducks replied to danth's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Ah... SRUNGLE, the meaningless transforming mecha! Don't try the other modes! Don't do it! 336567 Damn Drifand... I love your collection, but I think that's only because you buy every crap out there, according to that last thing... 336576 So that’s how that series was called! I really liked that show; it had a very nice covert ops thing going on. I even liked the strange vehicles, specially the Srungle. GO SRUNGLE!!- 80 replies

New Gundam FIX and ZEONOGRAPHY on the way...
Twoducks replied to GRAND CANNON's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
One can only hope (love that mustached MS). -
LOL wish this guy had done the writing for the series. You get to see what Kira’s real motivation was AND we see Athrun finally teaching something to Shinn

The point is fairly easy to understand if you don’t mind spending 30 seconds reading the CNN article Sephiroth posted along with the image: UNICEF, seeing that people have gotten used to images of third world countries, have tried something different. You don’t expect to see the Smurf village being bombarded while watching TV. People who grew up watching cartoons go “WTF!†and pay attention to the message and, hopefully, donate. No anti-US or whatever conspiracy, just a commercial trying to stand out to get its message across.

The Destiny Plan sounded like a spoof from Huxley’s book “Brave New Worldâ€. In that world happiness was achieved by a combination of genetic manipulation, conditioning and drugs. Here's a better summary: Happy, happy, joy, joy Don’t know the amount of genetic manipulation the DP had, but if you wanted a stable society you would need it (for example: you can’t have to much people genetically destined to be Gundam series directors because there's a limit ). And speaking of Kira: what the heck did Orb's leader have to do with his creation? EDIT: spelling

Are you talking about the shows or the toys? I think overall Eureka is a better show than Aquarion is, but the Eureka toy's paint application are downright horrid. I was down shopping wishing to pick up one of the Terminus (the light blue or Holland's red one) but zomg....none of them at the shop had proper paint application. Like if it wasn't paint bleeding off to the other sides, it was paint not even applied to some small detail.....each toy had a different problem. I never played with one of the toys before, but i think its made of PVC and joints will get loose over time. I'm still not sure if i wanna get the Aquarion. Online reviews say that it can't stand without the stand since its top/back heavy due to the extra backpack that one of the vector forms. And with that kinda money, i was thinking of routing it to a new Ipod Nano instead. 334683 I was talking about the shows, but thanks for the information about the toys. Were I to get one toy based on any one of these series it would be the Aquarion hands down, you can’t beat a toy that transforms into 3 mechas + vehicles with a gummy plastic looking badly painted toy. But for now my only Kawamori inspired toy will be the 1/48. Yep, I’ve downloaded and seen one episode of each and Aquarion sure is flashy. It certainly has all the clichés of the genre (including Evangelion bits, which now I guess are standard on giant super robot shows). Eureka looks different. But, as I said, I’ve only seen one episode. Damn it, I have too much anime I haven’t finished or started yet and new ones keep popping up

God almighty!! This is too kooky for me

Mmmmh, look's like protoculture overexposure has changed Kyle's hair colour. That or all that alcohol in his veins.
-
That darn Kyle, all this years and he still can’t keep away from booze. Drunk bastard, clean your mouth !!
-
Hehe, I see my 1/48 VF-1J and smile out of kid like happiness. Anyways, out of Eureka 7 and Aquarion, which one is more worth it? Is there anything in Aquarion for someone who’s growing sick of shows with kids as the leads but who still likes mecha’s?

From Gunota: What does this mean? All the bad reactions to Episode 50 have made it necessary to pump up the 40min especial so as to have a proper ending? Bandai saw that calling “special episode†another bunch of reused footage was going to spark violent reaction from fans and so cancelled it? Nothing at all?
