What happened to Zuko's huge-ass-marked-as-an-outcast-among-my-people-scar scar? Does anybody else think that the Water People could use Katara's face and the snow to reflect the sun as a head gun like Archimedes did? I mean, damn!, All that whiteness bouncing off solar energy could dwarf the Death Star laser.

So the 4k yen buy you a tampo of a sticker you get on the regular version and a bunch of meh? Regular version for me then. -
Sooooo, you pilot an awesome giant robot, live with the hottest woman ever, have a pet penguin, everyone is "Shinji this, Shinji that" with you and you even hang around in the most über facilities know to human kind.... all THAT and the happiest expression I've ever seen drawn in your face is "cooooool, coke and f'fries!!11!"..... F* you... Imaginary sir, you are the most hated character FOREVER in my book.

Oooh, you can bet on that! Yakuza Lagann is missing the wings. But you can also bet on it being (altogheter now) " a tamashii web shop exclusive" . Still, there is another company making a Gurren Lagann figure. Could turn out nice: Riobot series emphasizes on design, articulation and quality

I read the comic until it turned from a realistic take on the why there are no superheroes in the real world to a magically gory bloodbath done by a 10 year old girl. The set up was very nice, and the whole idea of how a teen got people to dress up and fight crime for real was very intriguing. Then, a little girl cuts people like they were made of air for I don't remember how many pages and I lost interest. I might see the movie if I can go with lots of people.

Looks like more than half of the mass of the upgrade parts goes to the battle platform thingy. Wish they would make a "just the little parts that make robot Rodimus awesome looking and save big $$$ not getting the rest of the plastic" version.

More pics here: http://ngeekhiong.blogspot.com/2010/04/com...lagann-new.html I must say those spiral tatoos are... distracting

Love Robotech as a kid and a lot of the stuff he brought over are the reason I got hooked to anime. RIP

Medicom/Hot Toys and all 1/6 scale figures

Wow, nice upgrade! I have the Battle Damage version with the extra features but the moving fingers and articulated waist armor of the MK IV make me think about selling my MK III. Only negative i see is that the Tony head sounds like it's a bare one. Maybe they are saving the removable helmet for a later milking remake or for the MK VI. BTW, what is the difference between the MK IV and the VI in the movie? Just the triangle chest battery and some grey paint here and there? -
Thanks for sharing your breathtakingly deep historical insights here on MW. Suck knowledge gathered no doubt from reading the first sentence of a wiki article about Allende shows how much respect you have for the HIGHLY complicated and tragic social-political past (and present) of a foreign country… Awesome looking mecha’s and backdrop there Lucas! I’ll try to hunt it. Being Dark Horse, at least I’m sure to see a translated TPB sooner or later here.

Wonder if they still plan on making that original combiner with animal themed robots. Looking at their recent work, it could be the ultimate combiner.

I disagree, Shaquille Oneil is a vortex of suck. http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolink...itic/9031-steel -
I smelled this thread coming sooner or later Bloody Roar 1 and 2 Forgot the series even existed until I found one of the characters in a google image search three days ago. Fun game with a nice combo system using the two forms each character had.

And yet much of what today we hold as true started out as fiction: http://www.cracked.com/article_18487_6-rid...k-are-true.html Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within main problem was that it overrated itself so much before release. -

"Accurate" is such a fancy schmancy city world. I beleive that for some scottish people Braveheart is now the official documentation of events in Scotland circa 1290+ (down to the modern cars in the XIIIth century). -
Is there a good TF train out there? I was hoping for this one to be it, but it just falls on the "robot mode is nice" category (might pick one up though).

Overrated: The Matrix (yes, the first one) Underrated: Dark City (came before The Matrix, was a shitload more distubing, deep and original. ) -

Nope, only the gun has bullets. Here's is a scan of the extra piece of paper that came with the instructions detailing unit 2's peculiarities (like the shootgun features: The pilot of the blue one is a Yamato mystery. It’s like they were ashamed to show the pilots (I never saw a pic of Ohta and the box shows nothing).
