  1. MP Rodimus looks big. Can't wait to get him! http://tformers.com/transformers-transformers-masterpiece-mp-9-rodimus-convoy-video-preview/14796/news.html
  2. Ok, now that is more interesting than the rodimus upgrade, even if two of them are repaints (they are fantastic figures). The three new mold look very interesting. They remind me of insecticons too.
  3. Don't know if it's the pics fault, but Rodimus looks a lot less awesome than I was hoping. The new MP makes it look a bit boring in comparison. The trailer is a HUGE waste of plastic (as a gun turret, the MP one looks a lot better... and that is considering I find it a waste too). Really enjoyed Fansproject’s Bruticus and Ultra Magnus add-ons but I think I'll cancel this one in favour of the MP Rodimus.
  4. Loved his movies as a kid. RIP
  5. Ok, that TF looks kick-ass!
  6. The NZ-666 is just amazing. I love how it combines the best parts of pretty much all the Zeon/evil MS. Is there any indication of a MG of the NZ-666 in the future? Maybe one of those Japanese polls of wanted MS? The G-system one has one heck of a price and all I find in 1/100 scale are also expensive resin kts. The HGUC looks nice but fot that size I would get a Robot damashii one (if they ever make one...). Can always go papercraft or... or doll: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SulWraESw7Q&feature=recentlik
  7. You must mean "TV ship arms on movie SDF-1 body" version. That manga probably has another set of rights that I doubt Yamato would want to buy.
  8. Love that shade of red Reïvaj! Kawamori, please use your color altering retcon powers to go more pastel and less happy-meal.
  9. Again, Yamato just wants to know if we would buy a repaint if they bother to do new arms, not if we want a TV version. From Graham's message, they already think a new sculpt is a bad investment; "However, if it is just a new arm sculpt and a color change , Yamato may be more open to this". Anyways, they don't look that incredibly off:
  10. Ok, I'm going to watch Equilibrium. If that awesome gun play is from there, it's worth a watch.
  11. That comparison pic really makes my beloved TV version look good and not cartoony as it always sounds. But the Yamato DYRL? SDF-1 isn’t as bulbous as that pic; heck, I see the 1/3000 toy looking pretty close to the TV lineart. What I see different is: - Separated bridge in cruiser mode. - Main guns (specially the middle part with the curve). - An extra gun turret here and there on the legs. Slap the TV paint on + the new arms and it would look almost 100% like the show. TV accurate means: - At least two years. - The whole über expensive model kit thing again to finance a new sculpt. - Yamato forgetting that the "fan favourite" destroids were a money pit for them. - Yamato forgetting the negativism they already show about the financial practicality of the project. I could live with points 1 and 2. The last two are the real problem so I would stick with a TV repaint.
  12. So Yamato is getting off the "accurate" high horse? Good Now seriously, we should make a quick poll with the options to get to the point. But let’s be practical, they are asking if we would like a repaint + arms because a remold "Yamato feels may not be profitable". In other word: repaint or nothing. So I choose a repaint over them passing on making a TV version altogether.
  13. Yummy!! And it looks like the SDF-1 is still planned for a December release (haven't seen much promotion of it in the hobby mags as Yamato usually does).
  14. Preview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gj0M6aDcgo&feature=player_embedded I think this preview is old but I got a kick out of watching how little it looks like a Mazinger tittle.
  15. That and the MP seekers without the hip kibble and monitors on their arms like Prime. Posted by Chen on the Robotjapan boards-
  16. Hell yeah!! I would see that film three times.
  17. The Masterpiece Coneheads are up fot preorder: http://shop.igeartoys.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=89 http://shop.igeartoys.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=88 http://shop.igeartoys.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=87 All three http://shop.igeartoys.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=90 Plus their mini MP UM is getting a trailer armor next year.
  18. Before the whole "end of the world" craze that has given us all this new disaster and zombie films with an apocalyptic tone, I want a movie with GIANT ROBOTS. Really big ones. Transformers made lots of money; so Hollywood, start cooping like you always do and do something more with robots and $hit. If we are going to get loaded with crappy films at least I wan't to see giant metal things hitting each other.
  19. "The video you are triying to watch cannot be viewed from your current country or location"... F*, I still remember when the Internet had no borders...
  20. +1 That purple makes it look a ton better.
  21. Pic in robot form of Scavanger of the Constructicon from TFClub. http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/generation-1-1/new-tf-club-primars-and-constructicon-images-170689/ Not very special in robot form but the combined form is what I'm interested in.
  22. Very sad news. I to check the site numerous times a day. From my personal experience of searching hungry for news in various sites in multiple languages It was perfect: all the geeky robot news I could want in a single place and in English. Really hard work was put into that site IMO. Don't know what gunpla related flames got him down. That chat was always about gunpla, kinda surprised practically nobody commented any news other than gunpla.
  23. The problem is probably due to AmiAmi's huge shipping boxes.
  24. Twoducks

    Bandai SD Infinite

Great pics indeed! Please toy gods, let this line be very popular so we get even more Macross SD goodness.
  25. I love my VF-11. Wish they did the armor... It would be a perfect excuse to get another one Tell me about it!
