    Pues dentro de poco tendrían que salir las preorders para la última valk que queda por recibir el tratamiento de belleza "renewal".     So there I was the other day picking up in my hands my VF-17S in fighter mode. Poor thing had been neglected for months atop a bunch of boxes in the corner, next to the display case. After throwing it the air and catching it for a bit to appreciate the cool heaviness the toy has I decide to transform it. The transformation back to fighter had left a bad taste in my mouth but this time…. OMFD Sooooooooooo coooooool!!! That robot mode is an imposing tank and fighter mode just grows on me more and more each day I see it. That weight is a pure delight to hold. VF-17/171 is now my 3rd best liked valk design. Executive summary: 17 is purty design. Me now buy FP+D. (I’m still pouty face about the lack of tampo )

    The Voltron isn't 3rd party...I wish it was being made by one since those actually share progress information. The Voltron project is "official" but they only had the rights of Voltron in Asia or something so when the preorders started popping up in BBTS and other US stores they were hit by the holders of the rights in North America. Or so goes the legend. So far the company making it just gives release date after release date and repeats “It's gone into production” over and over. The pics in their webpage are reaaaaally old proto pics. I was going to add the Magic Knight Rayearth mecha/rune gods but they have lost a bit of their punch since I last saw images of them decades ago. Tastes change

    Preordered (and paid) for this one over a year ago and the company is still making up excuses about the release date. Miracle Productions (the company making it) is a running gag now over at Robotjapan. So pick up a chair and sit down if you are waiting for this one

    That was to be a joint venture between SHE and Bandai. Thing looked great and would have made for an awesome line of affordable more resistant SHE products... and then nothing more was heard. NOTHING!! Like it had never existed... really sad about it going into limbo.

    Thanks!! Doesn’t look as integrated into the robot as it does with all the red in the Kai but it certainly looks better than I expected.

    Muy pero que muy interesante. Incluso con lo increíblemente molesto que resulta estar colocando los misiles una y otra vez, esta valk me ha gustado bastante como para aumentar su presencia en mi colección.

    Vf-0 vs SV-51

    I have the Nora and the CF SV-51 and the VF-0S and 0A. My 0's are first edition though. On looks, I prefer the CF SV-51. The light brown is a very nice shade and with the black parts it gets a great contrast that helps to show more the details of the SV-51. The Nora is a bit busy in that regard and the Ivanov is too dark. If you can only have one Geerwalk, the bird of prey in full attack of the SV-51 is the best twist to the classic mode. The 0S looks fantastic too BUT it is has an outdated engineering and the basics of the transformation itself has been done to death. The SV-51 is more unique in that regard. On durability, I’ll just say that my Nora has been in full attack Geerwalk mode with all the missiles and the Fast Packs for years and the wings still hold their pose perfectly even with all the weight. Fighter mode goes to the 0 in my book because it is an excellent upgrade to the VF-1. The SV-51 while unique looking, didn’t nail it as much as the 0 does. The spiky parts on the SV-51 tend to latch onto clothes when transforming so one has to be careful when doing it so as not to break anything.

    Cool pics TCracker! Glad the idea was found usefull! At least in my case, it has negated the need to get an Ozma at all cost.

    Por cierto, ¿sabes si van a editar Hellcyon en España? La verdad es que no se si lo de Dark Horse sigue en Norma o en Planeta o se ha ido a otra editorial.

    ¿Tenemos fans del rey de los robots gigantes por aquí? Me ha costado mucho resistirme pero el precio es brutal. ya sólo los gastos de envío para ocho kilos de robot y sus trastos cuestan casi una valk. Se rumorea por ahí que más tarde puede que saquen una versión sin el inmenso hangar más "económica" y menos demoledora para las espaldas de los carteros.

    Here it is in fighter mode with the Ozma parts and the V1 S head (Remember that the blue is not that bright in person). Head does nor sit flush (but I have not tinkered with it). But when you add the chest armor ir covers it. Have not used the kit S head but I think it would fit a lot better. I like the look of the brighter Alto parts. I’ll try them on in person later with a little twist.
