This is the Valk I have been waiting for. And, like the rest of you, I actually got it with ease.

I didn't know Paypal had changed to 180 days. I don't use ebay much. That makes sense it being the GBP. It was only because the Strike Valk description says Hiraku Model that I thought it might have been that he was referring to.

I am a bit dubious paying for a preorder on ebay that is still 4 months away. There is no Paypal protection. I feel confident that when these are finally released they will be easily available just like the Armoured Valkyrie was. The Strike Valkyrie? I didn't think that was due until the end of next month?

But couldn't an anime company still do an english dub of something like Frontier regardless of Harmony Gold? Or are the more inclined to just keep it in the native language?

I currently have them in the original trays but I have no plans to keep the trays or the boxes. I am always messing around with the figure so I would like to have the parts available at hand. Perhaps a small arts & crafts storage box will do the trick.

I know it is only one release in but what do you guys use as storage for all the extra accessories?

Why are there no more English Dubs of Macross series'? If I am not mistaken Macross Plus was the last series to get a dub. Is it all related to Harmony Gold?

Well, I was out. I just opened the VF-1J Armoured and it is such a sweet toy. I am back in again and if the VF-1J Strike stays open as long as the armoured did when it was finally released I should be able to snag one quite easily. Just before I came here I happened across HLJ and lo and behold a Regult was open for preorder (and so was Captain Phasma but she was gone as soon as I put her in my cart) but I did manage to preorder the Regult so I am extremely happy right now. I just need to get 3 more Regults and I will be at the limit I want. Damn these cool toys.

I'm out. I thought this would be a good alternative to the 1/60s and something I could just mess around with. It looks like everyone was thinking the same. I don't feel the need to jump through hoops to start a new line so I will take my money, and interests, elsewhere.

I think I have already said this (or someone else did and I am stealing it) but the 1/60 are more a display piece than a play piece. The 1/100 has play all over it and I can't wait until they start hitting.

I am all in on this line. $100 for this should make the standard Valks about $60-$70 right? I hope these are easy to preorder because this is my favourite size of Macross to collect and not just have for display.

My Hi-Metal VF-19S arrived and I am rather impressed. It isn't perfect but if they new Hi-Metals are of this standard (or even better) then I think this will be a great line.

I have seen a few people mention integrated heat shield and integrated landing gear. I doubt both would be able to be done (although it would cool if it was) so is there one you would prefer over the other? At a guess, I'd say the integrated heat shield would be the most desirable for the majority of people.

Thanks. I went ahead and bought it. I am not too fussed that it isn't perfect and I have no doubt that it will be released again providing HM:R is successful but I should at least get a couple of years out of it first. How long do you think it will be until Bandai release the first piece of HM:R?

Thanks. I knew of the Kai review on anymoon but couldn't find a review on the Blazer. I might as well pull the trigger on the blue VF-19S.

I never got in to Macross toys until after the Revoltech Perfect Transformations were released. I didn't really like them so it took me a while until I decided to give Macross toys a shot again with the Yamato 1/60s. That is why I am so excited to finally get Regults, and they are part of the same line.
